1317543 Pressure sensitive recording sheet FUJI PHOTO FILM CO Ltd 28 April 1971 [28 April 1970] 12009/71 Heading D2B A pressure sensitive recording sheet comprises a support having coated on one face thereof a layer or layers containing, in the same or in different layers, a phenolic resin and an alkaline hydroxide or carbonate. Adsorbent materials, which may or may not be colour developers, may also be included. Specified adsorbents include talc, china clay, acid clay, and attapulgite. The sheet may be used with a separate sheet containing a known chromogenic material, or microcapsules containing such materials may be incorporated in the recording sheet. Suitable chromogenic materials are listed.
