Abstract

Heading C2C Compounds of the general formula (R 1 , 2 = alkyl, cycloalkyl, aralkyl optionally substituted by CH 3 or halogen, heterocyclic ring linked via alkylene chain to N, or -NR 1 R 2 = heterocyclic ring optionally containing more than one heteroatom and/or being substituted by CH 3 ; R 3 = H, -COR 4 (R4 = alkyl, cycloalkyl, Ph, halophenyl, alkoxy, unsubstituted or substituted nitrogen-containing heterocyclic ring); Hal = halogen) and their acid addition salts are prepared by halogenating a compound of the formula or an acid addition salt thereof, optionally followed by deacylation and/or salt formation. The preparation of the starting materials by standard methods is described. The above compounds are hypotensive agents, and the salts may be administered in the form of pharmaceutical preparations containing them in association with a carrier.
