Abstract

Cylindrical tap selector for step-down transformers, in which fixed contacts (4) are arranged in at least two circular paths (I,...,VI) situated above one another, and in which there is provided for each circular path a contact bridge (5), the inner end of which slides on a contact ring (6) situated in the plane of the circular path, and the outer end of which comes into contact in steps with the tap contacts of the corresponding circle. The contact bridges of different planes are guided by means of two tubular actuating shafts (7, 8), which are actuated at their upper ends by means of intermittent gearing (2). One actuating shaft (8) - the inner one - extends at least partially inside the other actuating shaft (7). In its region situated outside the outer actuating shaft (7), it is widened to the diameter of the outer actuating shaft and guided with the widened lower end in a central bearing (11) of the tap selector. At its lower free end, the outer actuating shaft is mounted on the inner actuating shaft by means of a plurality of guide blocks (12), which are arranged between the two actuating shafts.
