Abstract
Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren und eine Vorrichtung zur Senkung des Feuchtigkeitsgehaltes von festen Stoffen. Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf die Senkung des Feuchtigkeitsgehaltes von aus festen, kleinkoernigen Stoffen bestehenden lockeren Stoffagglomeraten und wird vorteilhaft zur Behandlung von Kohlenstaub vor dem Brikettieren eingesetzt. Das Wesen der Erfindung besteht darin, dass die mit koernigen, festen Stoffen gefuellte Vorwaermzone sondiert wird, wobei die beim Erwaermen entstehenden und sich in den bei der Abwaertsbewegung des Materials unterhalb der Heizungsrohre 5 und der Sonden 7, 6 bildenden toten Raeume sammelnden Gase und Daempfe ueber die Sonden in die Atmosphaere ausserhalb der Vorwaermzone abgefuehrt werden. Durch das im Sammeltrichter hinabfallende Material wird heisse Trockenluft bei gleichzeitiger Abfuehrung der Gase und Daempfe geblasen. Falls erforderlich, wird das aus dem Sammeltrichter austretende Gut wieder in die Vorwaermzone zurueckgefuehrt. Fig. 1 zeigt die erfindungsgemaesse Vorrichtung zur Durchfuehrung des Verfahrens.
