Abstract

An expanded plastic cellular core (12) has thin channel-shaped reinforcing strips (e.g. 41, 42) bonded in and to surfaces thereof with further strips (53, 54) running perpendicularly to the first strips. The edges of the panel have stepped configuration and over- hanging reinforcing strips (43) for joining with adjacent panels. An interior surface of the panel may be finished with a thin wood veneer (76) and a wire grid (71) may be attached in spaced apart relation to the outer surface of contiguous joined panels to receive and retain concrete to form a structural wall. <IMAGE>
