Description

Universal watch winding and time setting device
Technical Field
The invention relates to a universal device for winding and time-setting a watch (watch) comprising an oscillating resonator arranged to produce oscillations at a nominal frequency, comprising means for rewinding said watch and correcting the state of said watch, comprising an automatic winding mechanism for a mechanical or automatic watch, said automatic winding mechanism comprising at least one watch receiving cradle, said universal device comprising state measuring means for measuring the state of said watch with respect to a reference clock, said state measuring means comprising an observation system referring to said reference clock.
The invention also relates to a watch bank (watch bank) comprising such a universal winding and time setting device and at least one said watch comprising a time base containing at least one oscillating resonator, a state correction means by means of a lever provided with a state setting mechanism accessible to the user, a power storage means or at least one barrel (barrel), and a power take-off (power rechargeing) means.
The invention also relates to a method for adjusting the state of a watch.
The present invention relates to the field of watch maintenance and means for quickly providing a user with watches from their collection, updated status settings, satisfactory operational settings, and complete power replenishment.
Background
Current winding mechanisms use conventional gears between the motor and the watch holder. This type of transmission is sufficient to achieve continuous rotation with economical production, reduced costs and lower consumption. However, if such winding mechanism is used for relatively fast back and forth movements, in particular trembling (dither), which involves subjecting the watch to vibrations by moving with a modulated, in particular periodic, conditioning movement at a frequency of up to 10 Hz or more, vibration noise is easily generated and discomfort is caused to the user.
Document DE 102013012854B 3, held by GODER, describes a watch support device with synchronization in which the running of the watch is automatically detected and corrected by means of the running deviation of the watch according to position, preferably taking a suitable position. In an alternative embodiment, the analysis is run as a function of temperature. In another alternative embodiment, the operational analysis is performed in relation to the degree of winding of the drive spring of the watch.
Document US5988871A, held by BONNET, describes a mechanical watch winding mechanism device comprising a case, a wrist-sized clamp, in which the watch is placed and held. The claw mechanism grips the crown (crown) of the watch and is driven by the motor. The jaws pivot the crown of the watch so that it automatically rotates by a predetermined value at regular intervals. Each time the watch is wound, the control circuit adjusts the frequency at which the watch is rewound and the duration of time that the jaws are driven by the motor.
Document DE 102008032124, held by GEHRING, describes a device for setting a watch, comprising active components for acting externally on the watch to set its data and functions, some of these active components being mechanical active components for mechanically acting on a mechanical interface of the watch (such as a button and/or a crown).
Patent applications CH713821 or EP3410235 and CH713822 or EP3410236 of the same applicant describe a dithering method involving the adjustment of the operation and the correction of the state of the watch or movement (movement), respectively, which is very advantageous for the correction of slight drifts, for example of the order of tens of seconds a day. However, it is still not possible to correct state errors more or less than a minute in less than a day, for example for a time setting after a stop, or for example to change to daylight savings time or winter time.
The applications CH00624/18 or EP3422119 of the same applicant relate to a generic watch preparation device and use the teaching of the above-mentioned patent applications with regard to dithering.
For timepieces, systems of the Breguet Sympathique Clock type are also known per se, which, by means of mechanical interaction with a specific interface, are only suitable for the time setting of a specific watch.
Finally, if the minute hand and the second hand get hooked (index) poorly with respect to each other, information can currently be reported to the customer, but the hook cannot be corrected.

The present invention proposes to use the device/equipment/cradle to set the time of the automatically oscillating watch. This device enables the winding of a watch, but the principle of the invention is only activated when the watch actually shows the current time.
To this end, the invention relates to a universal device for winding and time-setting a watch according to claim 1.
The invention also relates to a table library according to claim 12.
The invention also relates to a method for adjusting the state of a watch according to claim 16.

Detailed Description
Patent applications CH713821 or EP3410235 and CH713822 or EP3410236 of the same applicant describe intelligent winding mechanisms suitable for driving the frequencies of at least one mechanical watch. Different embodiments have been envisaged, in particular alternative embodiments adapted to slave a plurality of watches on the same device, which represents the frequent need from the singer and the collector of the watch.
Naturally, the description of the watch provided herein applies to case-less movements in the factory or maintenance sector for the specific purpose of the user implementing the invention. Thus, for the sake of simplicity, the term "watch" is equally applicable to a complete watch as well as to its individual movements.
The invention, preferably included in the winding mechanism, aims to stop the watch or at least allow it to stop using the natural release of the barrel when it is not moving, and then wind it up to restart the watch when the current time matches the displayed time.
The application CH713821 or EP3410235 describes a device for winding an automatic watch and measuring its level of winding. It therefore enables, in particular, the stoppage of the meter to be measured or checked.
Once the watch is stopped, the device stops its winding activity until the information displayed by the watch matches the current time. Thus, for a schedule that displays time in a twelve hour format with only two or three hands, the maximum duration of the time setting is its total power reserve and is twelve hours. For example, to change to daylight savings time (one hour forward), the time required is its total power reserve, and is eleven hours.
For a watch displaying the date, the time may be set within a maximum duration, which is its total power reserve, and up to twenty-four hours, provided that the watch is equipped with a quick date setting and that this setting is kept up to the customer. According to the general rule, the maximum time required for the time setting with the present device is equal on the one hand to the total power reserve and on the other hand to the period of time during which the dial indicates a return to the same position, with the exception of those reserved for the setting decided by the customer.
Most watches have a power reserve between 30 and 80 hours and are displayed in twelve hour format, with no date or with a quick date setting, so a time is set once in a few days, which is very consistent with occasional use by users who have a winding mechanism.
When the automatic watch is stopped, the exact time to restart the watch by means of rotating the movement is not known. Furthermore, in the case of a barrel that is almost empty, the watch often does not operate as well as when the barrel is full. Therefore, the time setting device is liable to cause an operation error of several seconds.
It is therefore advantageously associated with the fine state setting described in the applications CH713822 or EP3410236 and CH00624/18 or EP3422119, the contents of which are incorporated herein by reference. Furthermore, as described in the above-mentioned application, the process requires knowledge of the time of the watch display.
Hereinafter, an embodiment according to the present invention will be described with reference to fig. 1 to 14, a brief description of fig. 1 to 14 having been given in the above description of the drawings, and like reference numerals denote like elements throughout fig. 1 to 14.
More particularly, the invention relates to a generic device 1000 for winding and time setting a watch 1, the watch 1 comprising an oscillating resonator 2. The resonator 2 is arranged to oscillate at a nominal frequency N0.
The generic device 1000 includes components for re-winding the watch 1 and correcting the state of the watch 1, including an automatic winding mechanism 304 for a mechanical or automatic watch, which includes at least one watch receiving cradle 305.
The generic device 1000 comprises status measuring means 303 for measuring the status of table 1 with respect to a reference clock 1001, to which reference clock 1001 these status measuring means 303 refer, the status measuring means 303 comprising an observation system 1002.
According to the invention, the generic device 1000 comprises a stop monitoring means 500 arranged to observe the stop or operation of such an oscillating resonator 2 of table 1. Furthermore, the generic device 1000 comprises a control means 900 which is arranged to identify the stop time shown in table 1 in its stop position from the data transmitted by the state measurement means 303 when a stop is observed by the stop monitoring means 500. These control means 900 are also arranged to calculate the remaining time until the next synchronization time between the actual time indicated by the reference clock 1001 and the stop time, and when this remaining time has elapsed, activate the automatic winding mechanism 304 to re-wind the power storage means of table 1 and thereby allow it to restart.
More particularly, generic device 1000 includes at least one state correction device 300 for correcting the states of Table 1.
The condition correcting apparatus 300 includes the automatic winding mechanism 304, and the support 305 of the automatic winding mechanism 304 is subjected to the oscillation or movement generated by the condition correcting oscillator 301. The state correction device 300 further comprises a state control means 302 arranged to control the oscillation of the state correction oscillator 301, and the state control means 302 interfaces with a state measurement means 303.
Advantageously, the generic device 1000 comprises an operation monitoring means 800 of such an oscillating resonator 2. In addition, in the case of activation of the automatic winding mechanism 304, the control means 900 are arranged to wait for the determination of the stability of operation of the oscillating resonator 2 at its nominal frequency N0 by these operation monitoring means 800 before allowing the fine adjustment of the state of table 1.
More particularly, therefore, in the case of activation of the automatic winding mechanism 304, the control means 900 are arranged to await a determination by the operation monitoring means 800 of the stability of operation of the oscillating resonator 2 at its nominal frequency N0 before activating the condition correction means 300 in order to fine-tune the condition of the table 1 with reference to the reference clock 1001.
When the generic device 1000 includes a condition correction device 300 having condition control components 302, these condition control components 302 advantageously interface with operational measurement components 203 for measuring operational deviations of table 1. Furthermore, these state control means 302 are then arranged to control the operating settings of the oscillating resonator 2 of table 1 and to control the excitation oscillation generated by the master oscillator 201 at an excitation frequency NE approximately equal to the nominal frequency N0 of table 1 or an integer multiple thereof, having a master operating deviation value AM from the reference 202 which is smaller than the initial operating deviation value DI of table 1. In addition, in case of activation of the automatic winding mechanism 304, the control means 900 is arranged to control the triggering of the operation settings of the oscillating resonator 2 on the state control means 302. More specifically, the same oscillator forms both the state correction oscillator 301 and the master oscillator 201.

The robot arm 306 is advantageously arranged to handle a cap to grip (close) the condition setting organ in a gripping manner, or to grip a peripheral groove comprised by the condition setting organ.
In an alternative embodiment, the automatic winding mechanism 304 comprises at least one mechanical arm 306 for supplementing the power storage means 5 comprised by the watch 1 by directly manipulating a re-winding organ accessible to the user (such as a crown, a bolt, a button or the like), or for manipulating a cap that grips the re-winding organ in a gripping manner.
In an alternative embodiment, the automatic winding mechanism 304 for a mechanical or automatic watch is motorized (motorised) and is adapted to perform automatic re-winding of the automatic watch by launching the watch 1 and its oscillating mass and/or by magnetically driving its oscillating mass.
When the generic device 1000 comprises a state correction device 300 with state control means 302, these state control means 302 are advantageously arranged to: if the state deviation from reference clock 1001 is less than one minute, oscillation of state correction oscillator 301 is generated to return the state of the table to the value of reference clock 1001; alternatively, if the state deviation from the reference clock is greater than one minute, the mechanical arm 306 is manipulated on the state setting work of table 1 accessible to the user to adjust the state of table 1.
When the state control means 302 is interfaced with the operation measurement means 203, in an advantageous alternative embodiment the operation measurement means 203 comprises at least one microphone 1003 for evaluating the frequency, operation and amplitude of the oscillating resonator 2. Furthermore, in the event that an operating deviation greater than a predetermined threshold value is observed, the state control means 302 is arranged to control at least one excitation oscillation generated by the master oscillator 201 at the excitation frequency NE to return the operating deviation to a value intermediate between the master value AM and the initial operating deviation value DI.
Patent applications CH00624/18 and EP3422119 describe further specific features relating to various and alternative embodiments of the cited device, which are directly applicable to the generic device according to the invention and can be integrated therein.
Similarly, the present invention is advantageously applied to a table store 2000, which may be a user's collection or inventory of a retail store or otherwise.

The at least one watch 1 comprises a time base comprising at least one oscillating resonator 2, a condition correcting member by means of a control lever provided with a condition setting organ of the watch 1 accessible to the user, such as a crown, a bezel or the like, a power storing member 5 or at least one barrel, and a power supplementing member 6. More particularly, these power supplementing means 6 comprise an automatic re-winding mechanism comprising at least one oscillating mass 7, and/or a manual re-winding mechanism, by means of a control rod or by means of a winding mechanism 8 comprising a re-winding mechanism accessible to the user.
More particularly, in order to automatically replenish the power to the watch, at least one watch 1 of the watch library 2000 comprises a groove and/or a cap around which the winding work is rewound, said cap being arranged to cover the rewinding work in a gripping manner to allow the mechanical arm 306 to perform a translational and/or rotational manoeuvre thereof.
More specifically, the power replenishing means 6 comprise an automatic re-winding mechanism comprising at least one movable assembly inside the casing of table 1 and arranged to be driven in a non-contact manner by a non-contact driving means comprised by the automatic winding mechanism 304 or by the support 305, or by a magnetic or electrostatic field.

Here again, patent applications CH00624/18 and EP3422119 describe further specific features relating to various and alternative embodiments of the cited device, which can be directly applied to the table library according to the invention and can be integrated therein.
Also similarly, the present invention relates to a method for adjusting the state of table 1 of such table library 2000: identifying a removable cap suitable for the actuator 10 or the state setting mechanism of table 1, pulling out (or pressing, depending on the case) the state setting mechanism or the actuator 10, fitting the state setting mechanism of the actuator 10 with the removable cap, placing table 1 on the support 305 of the universal winding and time setting device 1000, performing an action on the control part 18 to activate the state measuring part 303 and perform the state measurement of table 1, and adjusting the state of table 1 by the mechanical arm 306 controlled by the state control part 302.
