Although there is a method in the prior art of displaying the DOI on an independent page, that is, the QR code is not displayed on the page, and when the user performs certain specific operations on the page, the QR code is displayed on another independent page, this method requires the user to perform these specific operations to trigger the display of the QR code, which reduces the convenience of user operation.

In actual applications, service providers usually add QR codes corresponding to certain services or resources to a page, allowing users to easily obtain the corresponding services or resources by scanning the QR code on the page. When a user needs to scan a QR code, the user needs to input a QR code scanning command into the first device used, so that the first device activates the QR code scanning function to scan the QR code. The first device mentioned in this application can be any device that can scan a QR code, such as a mobile phone or tablet computer.

It should be noted that, under normal circumstances, when a user wants to scan a QR code, he must input a QR code scanning instruction to the first device. For example, when a user uses a certain instant messaging software, he can input a QR code scanning instruction by clicking the "Scan" icon in the instant messaging software to start the QR code scanning function. In actual applications, users often browse information on another device (referred to as the "second device" in this application) that is different from the first device. In order to prevent the information displayed on the second device from being interfered with by the QR code, in the embodiment of the present application, the second device does not display the QR code when initially displaying information.

For example, suppose a user is browsing product information on a certain website on a PC (i.e., the second device). When they see a product they are interested in, they want to scan the corresponding QR code of the product with their mobile phone (i.e., the first device) to purchase the product. The user can click the "Scan" icon in the payment app installed on the mobile phone, that is, enter the QR code scanning command to activate the QR code scanning function of the mobile phone. However, when the second device displays the product information to the user, it does not display the corresponding QR code of the product, so it does not affect the user's browsing of the product information.

In the embodiment of the present application, since the second device does not display a QR code when initially displaying information, and once the user activates the QR code scanning function of the first device, it indicates that the user has the intention to scan the QR code. Therefore, after the first device receives the QR code scanning instruction input by the user (i.e., after the above-mentioned step S101), it is necessary to notify the second device to display the corresponding QR code for the first device to scan. When notifying the second device to display the QR code, the difficulty lies in knowing which second device the user is currently browsing information on, that is, which second device needs to be notified to display the QR code.

Considering that in actual application scenarios, the account used by the user when browsing information on the second device is often the same as the account used to scan the QR code on the first device, the same account can be used to determine which second device should be notified to display the QR code for the user to scan using the first device. Thus, in an embodiment of the present application, after the first device receives the QR code scanning instruction input by the user, in step S102, the first device can send a QR code display instruction (i.e., a DOI display instruction) to the server, and the QR code display instruction can carry the account currently used by the first device. Therefore, in addition to the above method of determining the associated first and second devices based on the use of the same account, it can also be determined based on the preset binding relationship between the accounts. Specifically, in the above step S103, when the server receives the DOI display instruction sent by the first device, it can first determine the account currently used by the first device carried in the DOI display instruction, and based on the saved account binding relationship, determine another account with a binding relationship with the account, and then determine the second device using the determined another account as the second device associated with the first device. When the second device receives the QR code display instruction, it means that the user has currently browsed the information on the page displayed by the second device and is ready to scan the corresponding QR code. Therefore, displaying the QR code at this time will not interfere with the user's browsing of the information on the page. Therefore, after the second device receives the QR code display instruction, it can obtain the QR code corresponding to the current page and display it so that the user can use the first device to scan the QR code.

Continuing with the above example, when the PC on which the user is browsing product information receives the QR code display instruction, it means that the user has browsed the product information displayed on the current page and is ready to scan the QR code. Therefore, the PC can obtain the QR code corresponding to the page currently browsed by the user (that is, the QR code corresponding to the product information displayed on the current page) and display it to the user. At this time, displaying the QR code corresponding to the product information will not interfere with the user's browsing of the product information. Subsequently, the user can scan the QR code through the mobile phone and perform the corresponding payment operation to purchase the product.

Through the above method, since the second device does not display the QR code before receiving the QR code (i.e., DOI) display instruction, the QR code is only displayed when the user needs to scan the QR code. Therefore, the QR code will not affect other information in the user's browsing page. Since when the user needs to scan the QR code, in addition to entering the QR code scanning instruction to start the QR code scanning function of the first device, there is no need to perform any other redundant operations on the second device, thereby improving the convenience of user operation.

Furthermore, in the above step S105, after receiving the QR code display instruction sent by the server, the second device needs to obtain the QR code corresponding to the page and display the QR code in the second device. The QR code can be pre-stored locally on the second device or stored in the server. When the QR code is stored in the server, the second device can send the page identifier of the current page to the server and receive the QR code corresponding to the page identifier returned by the server. When the QR code is pre-stored locally on the second device, the second device can determine the page identifier corresponding to the current page and obtain the QR code corresponding to the page identifier locally. Among them, the page identifier described in this application includes but is not limited to the Uniform Resource Locator (URL) of the current page.

In order to save network resources as much as possible, when the second device obtains the QR code corresponding to the current page, it can first search for the QR code corresponding to the page identifier locally based on the page identifier of the current page. If found, it can be displayed directly. If not found, the page identifier can be sent to the server to obtain the QR code corresponding to the current page from the server and display it.

In addition, when displaying the QR code, the second device can directly display the QR code at any position in the current page, as long as the displayed QR code is not blocked by any other information. When displaying the QR code, it can also open another page or window independent of the current page through controls or other software, and display the QR code in the separate page or window.

In the embodiment of the present application, since the second device does not display the QR code when initially displaying information, the user may not know whether the current page has a corresponding QR code when browsing the page on the second device. Therefore, the second device can add a prompt message to the current page displayed to remind the user that the page has a corresponding QR code, and remind the user that as long as the QR code scanning function in the first device (such as a mobile phone) logged in with the same account is turned on, the corresponding QR code can be seen on the second device. Of course, the prompt message can also include detailed information about the service or resource corresponding to the QR code, such as adding "This page provides a QR code corresponding to the mobile phone ordering service" to a certain area of the product information page on the product website.

The above is an example of a DOI display method using a DOI as a QR code.
