Description

Cosmetic composition carrier comprising urethane foam
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a carrier for a cosmetic composition, comprising a urethane (urethane) foam.
Background
In the past, although cosmetic compositions have been used mainly indoors, with the change of lifestyle and the increase of leisure activities, cosmetic compositions are frequently used outdoors nowadays. Accordingly, there is an increasing demand for cosmetic compositions that are easy to use and carry.
Although a cosmetic for easy use and carrying is developed by impregnating a cosmetic composition in a urethane foam, the urethane foam, which is commonly used as a carrier of the cosmetic composition, is only suitable for an emulsion type cosmetic composition having a viscosity of about 5,000-15,000 cps. With the recent rise of natural makeup trends, preference for low-viscosity cosmetic compositions capable of realizing light makeup is high. In addition, the need for high viscosity cosmetic compositions that can provide excellent concealer and moisturiser effects has not been interrupted. Therefore, there is a need for a cosmetic composition carrier that can stably carry low and high viscosity cosmetic compositions and make them convenient to use and carry.
Disclosure of Invention
Technical problem
The present invention relates to providing a carrier for a cosmetic composition, which can easily impregnate cosmetic compositions of various viscosities.
The present invention is also directed to providing a cosmetic product comprising a carrier for a cosmetic composition that is convenient to use and carry.
Technical scheme
In a general aspect, the present invention provides a cosmetic composition carrier comprising a urethane foam having a hardness of 1 to 100 as measured by Asker durometer type F before impregnation, wherein the cosmetic composition has a viscosity of 1,000-5,000cps or 15,000-60,000 cps.
In another general aspect, the present invention provides a cosmetic product comprising a cosmetic composition carrier carrying a cosmetic composition.
Advantageous effects
The vehicle of the cosmetic composition of the present invention can provide cosmetics improved in stability, feeling in use and portability by being capable of impregnating cosmetic compositions of various viscosities, including low-viscosity and high-viscosity cosmetic compositions, which are known to be difficult to impregnate in urethane foams, due to the urethane foams contained therein and the hardness and the number of cells per inch of the foams controlled according to the viscosity of the cosmetic compositions. Therefore, the cosmetics can satisfy various demands of users.
Detailed Description
As used herein, "carrier" refers to a material capable of carrying any substance or ingredient, which may be a composition. It may also be denoted as "vehicle" or "transporter". As used herein, "impregnation capability" refers to the ability to contain and load any substance or ingredient. As used herein
The "urethane foam" used herein means urethane that is foamed and cured, and may also be referred to as "foamed urethane".
In one aspect, the present invention provides a vehicle for a cosmetic composition comprising a urethane foam having a hardness of 1 to 100 as measured by Asker durometer type F before impregnation, wherein the cosmetic composition has a viscosity of 1,000-. The carrier of the cosmetic composition comprises a urethane foam having one or more of hardness controlled by viscosity of the cosmetic composition and number of cells per inch (ppi), is capable of stably impregnating the cosmetic composition, and can make the cosmetic composition convenient to use and carry.
In an exemplary embodiment of the invention, viscosity can be measured with a viscometer, for example, but not limited to, LVDV II + PRO or RVDV III ULTRA viscometer such as spindle 63 or spindle 64, 5rpm or 12 rpm.
In one exemplary embodiment of the present invention, when the cosmetic composition has a low viscosity, specifically when the viscosity of the cosmetic composition is 1,000-5,000cps, more specifically 1,500-4,000cps, further more specifically 2,000-3,000cps, a urethane foam having a hardness of 50 to 100, specifically 60 to 90, more specifically 70 to 80 as measured by Asker durometer type F may be used as the carrier. When the hardness of the urethane foam is less than 50, the low-viscosity cosmetic composition may not be stably impregnated or the cosmetic composition may be separated or precipitated. Also, when the hardness of the urethane foam exceeds 100, a cosmetic composition having a low viscosity may not be easily sprayed.
In another exemplary embodiment of the present invention, when the cosmetic composition has a low viscosity as described above, a urethane foam having a cell number of 10ppi, but less than 90ppi, specifically 20 to 80ppi, more specifically 30 to 70ppi, may be used as the carrier. When the number of cells is less than 10ppi, it may be difficult to control the fluidity of the low viscosity cosmetic composition and to impregnate an appropriate amount of the low viscosity cosmetic composition. Also, when the number of cells of the urethane foam exceeds 90ppi, the low viscosity cosmetic composition may not be effectively impregnated, and separation or precipitation of the cosmetic composition may occur. In the present invention, "number of cells" means the number of cells per inch of the urethane foam. The number of cells is the average number of cells per inch in a horizontal or vertical line measured according to the WI-QA-14(ASTM) method.
In an exemplary embodiment of the present invention, if the cosmetic composition has a high viscosity, specifically a viscosity of 15,000-60,000cps, more specifically 20,000-55,000cps, further more specifically 30,000-50,000cps, a urethane foam having a hardness of greater than or equal to 1 and less than 50, specifically greater than or equal to 5 and less than 45, more specifically greater than or equal to 10 and less than 40, more specifically 15-35 as measured by Asker durometer type F can be used as the carrier. If the hardness of the urethane foam is less than 1, the high-viscosity cosmetic composition may be excessively ejected. Also, if the urethane foam has a hardness of 50 or more, the high-viscosity cosmetic composition may not be uniformly impregnated in the urethane foam.
In another exemplary embodiment of the present invention, a urethane foam having a cell number of 90-200ppi, specifically 100-. If the number of cells is less than 90ppi, the high-viscosity cosmetic composition may not be uniformly impregnated in the urethane foam. Also, if the number of cells of the urethane foam exceeds 200ppi, the urethane foam may have poor durability and deteriorate the feeling of use of the cosmetic composition.
In an exemplary embodiment of the present invention, the urethane foam may be a polyester urethane foam or a polyether urethane foam. The polyether urethane foam has a larger cell diameter, and has higher air permeability and better cushioning properties, softness, stretchability, and elasticity, as compared to the polyester urethane foam.
In an exemplary embodiment of the present invention, the urethane foam may have a fine cellular network structure. The network structure can more efficiently and uniformly impregnate the cosmetic composition. The "cells" of the urethane foam used herein may mean cells of a urethane foam having a network structure.
In an exemplary embodiment of the present invention, the urethane foam may have an open cell structure. If the urethane foam has a closed cell structure, the cosmetic composition may not be easily absorbed because the cells are locked in the urethane foam. In the present invention, the open cell structure means a network structure, and the closed cell structure means a balloon-like structure having a foamed film so that air or water cannot easily pass through.
In an exemplary embodiment of the present invention, the cosmetic composition may be an aqueous dispersion, an oily dispersion, a water-in-oil (W/O) emulsion, or an oil-in-water (O/W) emulsion. According to another exemplary embodiment of the present invention, the cosmetic composition for a cosmetic composition carrier may substantially not contain an emulsifier which deteriorates a feeling of use.
In an exemplary embodiment of the present invention, the cosmetic composition may be any one of cosmetic compositions for skin care or make-up. In particular, the cosmetic composition may be prepared as a makeup pre-cream, a makeup base, a foundation, a dual-use foundation, a lipstick, a lip gloss, an eye shadow, an eyebrow pencil, a concealer, a lip liner, a blush, a sunscreen, a lotion, a cream, or a essence, more specifically, a makeup pre-cream, a makeup base, a liquid or solid foundation, a dual-use foundation, a lipstick, a lip gloss, an eye shadow, an eyebrow pencil, a concealer, or a blush, but is not limited thereto. In another exemplary embodiment of the present invention, when the cosmetic composition of the present invention is a sunscreen cream, the carrier of the cosmetic composition of the present invention can improve the stability and portability of the cosmetic composition regardless of the viscosity of the sunscreen cream. In addition, because the sunscreen cream is smeared on the skin through the ejection of the carrier, hands do not need to be washed after use, and a user can conveniently enjoy the effect of ultraviolet protection outdoors.
In another aspect, the present invention provides a cosmetic product comprising a cosmetic composition and a carrier for the cosmetic composition. The cosmetic comprising the cosmetic composition carrier of the present invention can uniformly impregnate a low-viscosity and high-viscosity cosmetic composition over a long period of time, can spray a proper amount of the cosmetic composition, and exhibits excellent long-term durability. A cosmetic composition according to another embodiment of the invention may be placed in a container comprising a lower portion for containing the cosmetic product and an upper portion having a lid and optionally a mirror, which is often referred to as a compact container. If the cosmetic including the cosmetic composition carrier containing the sunscreen agent is used in the form of a compact container, it is more convenient to use and carry than existing sunscreen cosmetics, and it can also provide a cooling effect.
Hereinafter, the present invention is described in detail by examples, comparative examples and test examples. However, the following examples are for illustrative purposes only, and it will be apparent to those skilled in the art that the scope of the present invention is not limited by these examples.
[ PREPARATION EXAMPLES 1 to 3 ] preparation of cosmetic composition
A cosmetic composition having a viscosity of 1,000-5,000cps, more than 5,000 but less than 15,000cps, more than or equal to 15,000 but less than 60,000cps was prepared as described in Table 1.
Specifically, an oily component is added to dissolve the ultraviolet screening agent. After emulsification and mixing with the surfactant, the mixture was stirred uniformly at 80 ℃. After mixing with the pigment, the mixture was uniformly stirred again to prepare an oily mixture. In another mixer, the aqueous ingredients were mixed and stirred at 80 ℃ to be completely dissolved to prepare an aqueous ingredient mixture. The aqueous mixture was slowly added to the oily mixture prepared above, and emulsified using a homogenizing mixer. Cooling to 50 deg.C, adding skin care components (humectant), perfume, etc., and cooling the mixture to obtain cosmetic composition.
[ TABLE 1 ]
In table 1, disteardimonium hectorite was used as a thickener, poly (methyl methacrylate) was used as an extender pigment and titanium dioxide/aluminum hydroxide/stearic acid was used as an inorganic anti-uv agent.
[ examples and comparative examples ] preparation of urethane foams
Polyether urethane foams were prepared as described in table 2. The number of cells per inch on the horizontal or vertical line was measured according to the WI-QA-14(ASTM) test method and the average value was calculated.
[ TABLE 2 ]
[ test example 1 ] the stability of the urethane foam carrier was evaluated according to the viscosity of the cosmetic composition.
The cosmetic compositions prepared in preparation examples 1 to 3 were respectively impregnated in the urethane foams of examples 1 to 2 and comparative example, and then stability was evaluated. The filling capacity, impregnation capacity and release capacity were evaluated separately. The filling ability was evaluated by measuring the time required to fill 15g of the cosmetic composition. Impregnation ability was evaluated by measuring the amount of the cosmetic composition impregnated in the container after impregnating 15g of the cosmetic composition. The release capacity was evaluated by measuring the amount of cosmetic composition sprayed out when the cosmetic composition impregnated in the container was applied once with a puff. The results are shown in Table 3.
[ TABLE 3 ]
Very good: very good, O: good, Δ: moderate, X: and (4) poor.
As can be seen from the above, the urethane foam of example 1, which has a cell number of 10-90ppi and an Asker F-type hardness of 50-100, can stably load the cosmetic composition having a viscosity of 1,000-5,000cps, while the urethane foam of example 2, which has a cell number of 90-200ppi and an Asker F-type hardness of 1-50, can stably load the cosmetic composition having a viscosity of 15,000-60,000 cps.
[ test example 2 ] evaluation of preference according to viscosity of cosmetic composition
After the cosmetic compositions of examples 1 to 3 were prepared by impregnating the polyether type urethane foams of examples 1 to 2 and comparative examples, respectively, evaluation of the preference of the urethane foams was performed. Specifically, 100 women were divided into 5 groups of 20 persons each. They were asked to apply the cosmetic compositions of preparation examples 1-2 absorbed in the polyether urethane foams of examples 1-2 and comparative example 2 with Rubycell puff, using two days, and were allowed to evaluate the overall preference in consideration of the feeling of use, spreadability, uniformity, and the like. They were asked to evaluate the preference level according to the discharge (ejection) amount, the application amount, the convenience of use, etc., up to 100 points. The results are shown in table 4. The discharge amount varies according to users. A proper discharge amount can guide proper application of the cosmetic composition, less clumping, and uniform coverage.
