Description
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a sexual stimulation device and in particular to a sexual stimulation device designed for use by females to enhance their personal comfort when using the device for masturbation.
Background
Sexual stimulation devices have long been well known and commercially available for decades. Conventional sexual stimulation devices include artificial penis, vibrator, etc., and are typically made of plastic, metal, silicone, rubber, or other similar materials. Conventional sexual stimulation devices have either straight or curved rods, which generally resemble the shape of a penis. The shaft typically does not include a handle, and at most the shaft may include a bulbous tip to assist the user in gripping the sexual stimulation apparatus during use.
However, because the rod in conventional sexual stimulation apparatus does not include a handle, it is difficult for a user to comfortably grip the conventional sexual stimulation apparatus during use. Women have difficulty using conventional sexual stimulation devices due to the physiological position of their vagina relative to their hands and arms. As a result, users, particularly female users, may experience strain, fatigue, discomfort, or pain in their wrists, upper arms, shoulders, and/or back when masturbating using conventional sexual stimulation apparatus.
Without a handle, it is difficult for a user, particularly a female user, to comfortably grip a conventional sexual stimulation apparatus with their wrist in a natural, comfortable orientation. Women using conventional sexual stimulation devices have difficulty comfortably inserting the conventional sexual stimulation device into their own vagina while masturbating and ensuring that their wrists are in a natural, comfortable orientation.
US 2002/0188233(Denyes) describes a vibration stimulation device which is difficult for an individual user to use easily or comfortably when masturbating. The shape and configuration of the Denyes vibratory stimulation device requires another operator to use the device on his partner. The "gun-like" handle of the Denyes device does not provide any ergonomic convenience for the individual user and does not allow the individual user to use a "palm down" approach that allows the individual user to enter his or her vagina while in a comfortable and ergonomic orientation.
US 5853362(Jacobs) describes an intravaginal sexual stimulation device which is difficult for a single user to use in a "palms down" manner when masturbating. While the Jacobs intravaginal sexual stimulation device does include a handle, the handle is simply used to "grip" the device and neither has an ergonomic contour that conforms to the palm of the user's hand nor closely conforms to the shape of the palm and fingers of the user's hand.
The intravaginal sexual stimulation device of Jacobs was designed specifically for G-spot induced orgasm, and thus clitoral stimulation was not the focus of the Jacobs device. Many women self-describe that they are more prone to orgasm when they are stimulated simultaneously with the vagina and clitoris. The Jacobs device also has no distinct distal tip and therefore cannot be designed for full insertion into the vagina or anus of a single user. Thus, the Jacobs device works best when two people are used together. The Jacobs device is adapted to stimulate two users at a time simultaneously and thus has two insertable ends.
It is therefore an object of the present invention to provide an improved sexual stimulation apparatus which seeks to overcome or minimise problems of the prior art or limitations of the above summary or at least to provide an alternative way of achieving the aforementioned effects.

Detailed Description
As shown in fig. 1 to 4, the sexual stimulation apparatus 1 of the present invention generally comprises a phallic shaped member 2 having a handle 3 provided at its base. The handle 3 generally includes a protruding element 5 and a clitoral stimulator 6.
As shown in fig. 1 to 3, the handle 3 and the phallic shaped member 2 are integrally formed of silicone. The handle 3 includes a convex surface 9 and a clitoral stimulator 6 positioned on the opposite side of the convex surface. The clitoral stimulator 6 includes a plurality of spaced apart nodules 10. In use, the spaced apart nodules 10 contact the clitoris of the user 11, thereby enhancing the stimulation and pleasure obtained by the use of the sexual stimulation apparatus 1 of the present invention when the user 11 is masturbating. The handle 3 also serves as a positive end portion of the sexual stimulation apparatus 1 and thereby allows a single user 11 to fully insert the sexual stimulation apparatus into their vagina until the clitoral stimulator 6 is in close proximity to the user's clitoris and vaginal opening.
As shown in figures 1 and 2, the clitoral stimulator 6 has a cluster of nodules 7 which are positioned away from where the phallic shaped member 2 is joined to the handle 3. The cluster of nodules 7 are used to adequately stimulate the user 11 by contacting the clitoris during masturbation. The nodules 10 may be of different sizes and shapes to provide more contact with the clitoris of the user 11. In particular, it is each knot 10 of the cluster of knots 7 that has a different size.
As shown in fig. 3, the convex surface 9 is adapted to fit snugly against the palm of a user's hand 11. This allows the user 11 to have better control over the speed and direction of the sexual stimulation apparatus 1 when masturbating. The convex surface 9 also allows the user 11 to adjust his or her arms, and in particular his or her wrists, to a more natural, comfortable position during insertion of the sexual stimulation apparatus 1 into his or her vagina when the user 11 is masturbating. This helps reduce fatigue, discomfort and potential pain that may occur in the wrist, elbow, shoulder and/or back of the user 11 during masturbation. Also, because of the shape of the sexual stimulation apparatus 1 and the orientation of the sexual stimulation apparatus 1 in the user's hand when in use, the user's back can lie substantially flat when masturbating. On the other hand, the conventional artificial penis requires the user to bend or curl forward while masturbating to insert the conventional artificial penis or the like into the own vagina. Because the user of the sexual stimulation apparatus 1 of the present invention can lie substantially flat on their back, the likelihood of discomfort and pain on their back is greatly reduced.
The shape of the sexual stimulation apparatus 1 allows an individual user to adopt a so-called "palms down" approach when masturbating. The "palm-down" mode in this specification is defined as: the individual user, when masturbating, has his palm facing towards his vagina, with the sexual stimulation apparatus 1 on the palm. The "palms down" approach can reduce fatigue, discomfort, and potential pain that may occur in the wrists, elbows, shoulders, and/or back of an individual user 11.
In order to enable a user 11 to better grip the handle 3, the convex surface 9 of the handle 3 comprises a protruding element 5 extending away from the convex surface 9 of the handle 3. As shown in fig. 4, the raised elements 5 are adapted to interdigitally engage with the hands of the user 11. Interdigitally engaged is defined herein as the projection elements 5 extending into the user 11 between at least two adjacent fingers. The protruding element 5 can then be held by frictional engagement with at least two adjacent fingers. In order to facilitate gripping of the handle 3 in an ergonomically correct and comfortable orientation, the protruding element 5 is substantially curved and follows the natural contour of the user's hand. The curvature of the raised element 5 enables the convex surface 9 to fit snugly against the palm and fingers of the user's hand when the sexual stimulation apparatus 1 is used in masturbation.
As shown in fig. 2, to achieve interdigitation, the protrusion element 5 comprises a trough-like portion 12, said trough-like portion 12 conforming to the contour of the curved fingers of the user 11 using the sexual stimulation apparatus 1 when masturbating. The raised elements 5 are "T-shaped" when viewed in end view cross-section. This facilitates engagement between the raised element 5 and the user's 11 finger, particularly because of the engagement between the upper part of the "T-shaped portion" and the top of the user's finger. This reduces the likelihood of the projecting element 5 slipping out from between the fingers of the user 11 during use.
A second embodiment of a sexual stimulation apparatus 1 is shown in fig. 4. Since many of the features of this embodiment are the same as those of the first embodiment, the same reference numerals will be used to denote the same features. In the second embodiment, the clitoral stimulator 6 includes two clusters of nodules 7a and 7 b. Many users prefer to use the sexual stimulation apparatus with two clusters of nodules described above because a greater level of clitoral stimulation may be provided during masturbation of the sexual stimulation apparatus 1. It should of course be understood that: a clitoral stimulator 6 having any number of nodule clusters may be used. The clitoral stimulator 6 may also not include any nodule clusters.
The embodiment shown in the drawings depicts the clitoral stimulator 6 as including nodules 10, while in other embodiments not shown in the drawings, the clitoral stimulator may include other forms of stimulation means other than nodules, such as ridges or the like.
The embodiment shown in figures 1 to 4 shows that the phallic shaped member 2 and handle 3 are integrally formed from silicone. However, it should be understood that: any suitable material may be used for the phallic shaped member 2 and handle 3 such as metal, plastic, glass, rubber or other suitable material.
In another embodiment, not shown in the drawings, the phallic shaped member 2 and the handle 3 may be two separate components. In this case, the phallic shaped member 2 and the handle 3 may be made of either the same material or different materials. For example, the handle 3 may be made of a relatively hard plastic or the like, while the phallic shaped member 2 may be made of a softer material such as silicone.
In another embodiment, not shown in the drawings, the sexual stimulation apparatus 1 may be a vibrator. Therefore, it is necessary to include a vibration mechanism and a power source such as a battery in the sexual stimulation apparatus 1. In this embodiment, the phallic shaped member 2 and the handle 3 are preferably two separate parts which are capable of engaging with each other. The battery is inserted into a hollow cavity in the phallic shaped member 2 and handle 3 are then electrically connected. The handle 3 includes a vibration mechanism that is capable of vibrating the sexual stimulation apparatus 1 to increase the sexual stimulation achieved by the user 11 when masturbating.
In embodiments where the phallic shaped member 2 and handle 3 are two separate components, it will be appreciated that: the handle 3 can be engaged with a range of different phallic shaped members 2 provided that these phallic shaped members 2 have a common base portion adapted to be engaged with the handle 3. The user 11 may purchase a "kit" comprising a handle 3 and a series of different phallic shaped members 2 adapted to engage with the handle 3. The series of different phallic shaped members may be of different shapes, lengths, materials, colours and may be vibrated or not. The "kit" may also include several different handles 3, each having a differently configured clitoral stimulator 6 and/or projection member 5.
Although the embodiment of the sexual stimulation apparatus shown in the drawings comprises only a single raised element 5, it is within the scope of the invention that the sexual stimulation apparatus 1 may comprise a plurality of raised elements. Wherein each of the raised elements are capable of interdigitating engagement between adjacent fingers of the user 11.
It will also be appreciated that in other embodiments not shown in the drawings, the raised element 5 may be one or more ring-shaped elements capable of encircling one or more fingers of the user 11, although the raised element 5 in the embodiment is "T-shaped" when viewed in end view cross-section. The protruding elements may simply be protrusions extending away from the convex surface 9 or may be straight protrusions with bulbous ends to facilitate gripping by the user 11. The raised element 5 may also have a gradually increasing thickness, wherein the distal end of the convex surface 9 has a greater thickness than the proximal end of the convex surface 9.
In another embodiment, not shown in the figures, the sexual stimulation apparatus 1 may comprise an anal protruding element or a testicular protrusion.
The invention has been described by way of non-limiting examples only and many modifications and variations may be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention as described. The essence of the invention is a handle provided at the base of the phallic shaped member.
In this specification, unless the context clearly dictates otherwise, the word "comprising" is not intended to have a inclusive, exclusive meaning (e.g., "consisting only of.,") but rather has a non-exclusive meaning, which is to be construed as "including at least. The same applies to other forms of the word, such as "comprising", by corresponding grammatical transformations.
It will be apparent that obvious variations or modifications may be made in accordance with the spirit of the invention, and any such obvious variations or modifications are within the scope of the invention.
