Description

Packaging bag with external package
The invention relates to a packaging bag made of a first flexible film-like material having a bag front wall, a bag rear wall, a detachable (abtrennbar) opening section along a tear-line (Aufreislinie) perpendicular to the bag longitudinal direction, and a substantially form-stable outer packaging made of a second material.
As is known, for packaging drinkable and/or tablespoon-ready products, such as fruit juices, water or soup, in portions, rigid or form-fitting containers made of plastic with a sealing lid and rigid bags made of plastic Laminate (kunststoff-Laminate) produced by 3D thermoforming or injection molding methods are generally used. Such packaging containers and bags are not without doubt from an ecological point of view due to the increased material requirements for their stability in standing, but are also relatively expensive. In addition, the packaging is usually printed directly as an advertising medium, so that there is essentially an undesirable risk of contamination of the filling with material.
The object of the present invention is to provide a packaging which can be used both for drinkable and spoonable products, such as fruit juices, water or soup, and for products with a liquid and solid part or semi-solid products, such as animal feed, which packaging does not have the disadvantages described above, or has only a small number of disadvantages, with respect to the packaging according to the prior art.
In order to achieve this object according to the invention, a packaging bag of the type mentioned above is introduced, the outer package having a front wall and a rear wall which lie substantially against the bag wall, wherein the front wall and the rear wall are connected by side sealing edges which run in the longitudinal direction of the bag, and the bag is sealed in the sealing edges of the outer package or is glued, for example point by point, by means of a hot-melt method, so that, when the mouth portions are separated, the removal opening is formed by lateral pressure exerted on the outer package.
Preferably, the pouch material and the outer packaging material are a single material that is biologically and chemically neutral with respect to the filling.
The bag front wall and the bag rear wall can be connected to one another in the longitudinal direction of the bag by laterally extending sealing edges and sealed or glued in the sealing edges of the outer package.
In a first preferred embodiment of the packaging bag according to the invention, the bag end with the opening portion projects from the outer package. And the end of the outer package remote from the open portion forms a standing surface.
In this first embodiment, the packaging bag may be a standing bag or a hose bag (Schlauchbeutel) without standing stability (standfenpkeit) per se. The bag material for the packaging bag according to the invention can have a smaller thickness and thus be less expensive than the rigid material used for standing bags with stability in itself. The removal opening (Entnahmeoeffnung), which is formed by lateral pressure on the outer package after removal of the opening portion, remains completely and permanently open inside the outer package due to the stiffening effect. Such a package which can no longer be closed is therefore particularly suitable for spoonable fillings.
According to a second preferred embodiment of the package according to the invention, the bag end with the opening portion is arranged between the front wall and the rear wall of the outer package, and the outer package has a removal portion (Wegreissteil) which is separable along a tear-line arranged on the tear-line of the opening portion, so that the opening portion of the package can be substantially separated from the removal portion of the outer package. After separation of the removal portion, the portion of the overwrap remaining on the bag forms a closure portion that can be opened and automatically reclosed by squeezing and releasing the sealing edges from each other. When the lateral pressure ceases, the removal opening formed by the lateral pressure on the outer package after separation of the removal portion automatically closes again. Such a package is therefore particularly suitable for drinkable fillings.
This second embodiment is suitable for producing a multiple package formed from a plurality of packages. Here, the outer packages are sequentially arranged in a band shape, and perforated lines (perforationslinies) are provided to separate into single packages. Multiple packs with, for example, three, four or more units can be provided in a stable polygon, so that in this embodiment the package itself can be an inexpensive standing bag, a hose bag or an extruded bag without stability in itself.
Another multiple package is formed from a plurality of plastic packages and a single outer package. The bags are first snapped into (einklicken) overwraps before use and then separated from the overwraps again after use.
The bag material of the packaging bag according to the invention is preferably a plastic film or a paper with a plastic laminate. To prevent foreign material from migrating to the interior area of the bag, the bag is unprinted.
The outer packaging material may be any inexpensive single material. Preferably, the outer packaging material is carbon or a transparent or opaque plastic. The outer package may be printed at will.
The packaging bag is particularly suitable for packaging drinkable or spoonable fillings as well as stirrable fillings with drinkable or spoonable fluid ingredients. The package is also suitable for use with animal food.
In the packaging bag according to the invention, dishes such as soup can be heated together with the outer packaging in the open state, after stirring with cold water, if necessary, directly in a microwave oven.
The packaging system can be used for preserving a filling and at the same time as a drinking cup for water with or without carbonation.
For hygienic reasons, a label or label which is thrown away before drinking can be provided on that part of the outer packaging which is placed in the mouth when drinking. In this way, a contamination-free drinking edge is produced.
Depending on the composition of the filling, the fluid may still be stirred, e.g. a bag of soup with hot water, or the filling may already be in a fluid or spoonable form, e.g. yoghurt.
Further advantages, features and details of the invention will be given in the following description of preferred embodiments thereof, with reference to the drawings; wherein:
FIG. 1 is an oblique view of a package with an overwrap;

FIG. 9 is a top view of the multi-packing device with three packing bags according to FIG. 8; and
fig. 10 is a top view of the multiple packaging unit according to fig. 9 with four packages.
As shown in fig. 1, the package 10 is in the form of a flexible tubular bag made of a flexible film material, such as polyamide, having a sealed bottom 12, a front wall 14 and a rear wall 16. Two laterally disposed longitudinal sealing lines 18, 19, which define the bag longitudinal direction I, are connected to the two bag walls 14, 16 projecting from the bottom 12 (autoferand), and together with a transverse sealing line 20 connected thereto (longitudinal sealing lines 18, 19) at the bottom distal end (bodenfernEnde), form a closed packaging bag 10.
The transverse seal line 20 at the bottom remote end of the package 10 is part of the detachable opening portion 26 of the bag. To open the package 10, the opening portion 26 is separated along a tear line 24 disposed within the walls 14, 16 parallel to the transverse seal line 20 and at a small distance therefrom. Tear notches 22, 23 are provided in the longitudinal seal lines 18, 19 to assist in tearing, the tear notches having pointed ends located on the ends of the tear line 24.
An outer package 28 made of a shape stable material, such as carbon, has a front wall 30 and a rear wall 32. The outer package 28 surrounds the package 10 and extends from the bottom 12 of the package through the walls 14, 16 to the opening 26 and terminates short of the tear line 24.
The outer package walls 30, 32 are connected to one another by two lateral sealing lines 34, 35 extending in the longitudinal direction I of the pouch. In sealing the two outer package walls 30, 32, the side longitudinal seal lines 18, 19 of the package 10 disposed between the front wall 30 and the rear wall 32 of the outer package 28 are sealed within the side seal lines 34, 35 of the outer package 28 (fig. 3). In addition, the walls 14, 16 of the package 10 are partially secured to the inside of the outer package 28 by spot-by-spot adhesive locations 36.
When the opening portion 28 is removed, an opening 38 is formed, which can be adjusted to the desired maximum opening size by pressing (gegenieinder drucken) the sealing lines 34, 35 of the outer package 28 towards each other. As shown in fig. 2, the outer package walls 30, 32 are bulged in the direction of arrow B by the action of the flared opening 38 by pressure in the direction of arrow a acting on the side sealing lines 34, 35 located below the bag opening 38. In order to prevent the opening 38 from being automatically closed again, a channel 40 running in the longitudinal direction I of the packaging bag 10 can be provided in the outer packaging 28. By means of the point-by-point adhesive points 36 between the packaging bag 10 and the outer package 44 in the region of the bag opening 38, it is possible to ensure that the bag follows the opening movement of the outer package 44 which is deformed by pressure.
In fig. 2, a cut-away view of the window 42 shown in phantom in fig. 1 is shown in the front wall 30 of the outer wrapper 28. In combination with the package 10 being made of a transparent material, the window 42 makes it possible to see the contents of the package 10 clearly. Such transparency can also be achieved without the use of windows, by applying a transparent plastic to both the package 10 and the overwrap 28.
In the arrangement shown in fig. 4, the overwrap 44 extends substantially over the open area and is in the form of side bands (Schenkelstreifen)60, 62 along both sides of the longitudinal seal lines 18, 19 of the package 10. The outer package 44 consists of a front wall section 46 which rests against the front wall 14 of the bag in the region of the opening of the packaging bag 10 and a rear wall section 48 which rests against the rear wall 16 of the bag, wherein the front and rear wall sections 46, 48 cover the detachable opening section 26 of the packaging bag 10 from both sides (fig. 6).
The front wall portion 46 and the rear wall portion 48 of the outer package 44 are connected to one another at their side edge strips 60, 62 by sealing lines 50, 51 and in the region of the opening section 26 by a transverse sealing line 52. The longitudinal seal lines 18, 19 between the front and rear wall portions 46, 48 of the overwrap 44 are sealed within the side seal lines 50, 51 when the overwrap 44 is sealed to secure the overwrap 44 to the package 10 (fig. 7).
To open the package 10, the removed portion 49 of the outer wrapper 44 is separated along a tear line 54, the tear line 54 being positioned within the front wall portion 46 and the rear wall portion 48 and above the tear line 24 of the opening portion 26 of the package 10. Tear notches 56, 57 are provided in the side seal lines 50, 51 at both ends of the tear line 54 to assist in tearing.
As shown in fig. 5, after opening the package 10, the portion of the overwrap 44 remaining in the area of the opening encloses a pouch opening 58 formed in two strips of material 64, 66, the two strips of material 64, 66 being connected to one another by side seal lines 50, 51 and forming a cuff (Manschette) 68. By pressure in the direction of arrow a acting on the side seal lines 50, 51 of the cuff 68, the cuff bulges in the direction of arrow B as the opening 58 is enlarged. The bag opening 58 remains closed or automatically closes again without applying pressure in the direction of arrow a to the side seal lines 50, 51 of the sleeve ring 68. The point-by-point adhesive position 70 in the region of the sleeve 68 between the packaging bag 10 and the outer package 44 ensures that the bag follows the opening movement of the outer package 44 and the sleeve 68 which are deformed by pressure.
The side margins 60, 62 which are closed on the material webs 64, 66 and on the sleeve rings 68 and partially surround the longitudinal sealing lines 18, 19 of the packaging bag 10 stabilize the bag in its longitudinal direction I. As shown in phantom in fig. 5, the side bands 60, 62 may extend through the entire length of the bag (1) or only through a portion of the length of the bag (2), or (3) may be omitted so that the overwrap is substantially bounded by the sleeve ring 68.
As shown in fig. 4 and 8, the outer package 44 may be combined with a plurality of packages 10 as a strip-shaped unit into a multi-pack. The multiple-wrapped individual wrapping units may be separated along a perforation line or other line of attenuation (schwunschungsilinien) 72 between them and the adjacent overwrap 44 of the multiple-wrapped individual wrapping units.
To improve the standing stability of the multiple packaging, it can be arranged annularly, for example, according to fig. 9 and 10.
