Abstract

Apparatus for use in handling windscreens, for example for installation in a vehicle. The apparatus including a windscreen anchor assembly comprising a windscreen anchor device 214 and an elongate arm 216 extending away from the anchor device 214. The arm 216 being dismantle-able into more than one piece 216a, 216b for stowage, the anchor device 214 and dismantled arm member 216b being provided with means for attaching to one another for storage. Preferably during stowage rod parts 216a and 216b are of the same length. Optionally anchor device 214 and dismantled arm part attached to the anchor device 216a both have connection means 289 which correspond to means 221 provided on detached arm part 216b.
