Abstract
A communication system, an apparatus and a method thereof are provided, wherein the system includes a connection processing server, an advertisement server and a communication apparatus. The communication apparatus is connected to the connection processing server and the advertisement server, sends a advertisement request to the advertisement server, and receives an advertisement information from the advertisement server, wherein the advertisement information includes an advertisement list and a plurality of advertisement contents corresponding to the advertisement list. When the communication apparatus displays the advertisement list and an operating signal is received by the communication apparatus, the communication apparatus displays one of the advertisement contents corresponding to the operating signal, and transmits an read-ad information to the advertisement server. And when the advertisement server receives the read-ad information, the advertisement server transmit an allowance information to the connection processing server to update a cost information corresponding to the communication apparatus.

Technical Field
The present invention relates to a communication system, a communication device and a method thereof, and more particularly, to a communication charging system, a communication charging device and a method thereof.
Background
With the increasing development of science and technology, the demand of people for handheld communication devices is increasing. In recent years, the rapid evolution of Smart phones (Smart Phone) makes people rely more on the Smart phones. Generally, a handheld communication device, such as a mobile phone, has a main function of a call and a secondary function of various application programs matching with data transmission capability of the internet. The call function can be realized by a Mobile Telecommunication Network (Mobile Telecommunication Network) or by a Voice Over IP (VoIP) through a specific application program.
VoIP is considered by many telecommunications carriers to be one of the mainstream developments in the future and the main competitive object of business due to its advantages of low call cost, low construction cost, easy expandability, and increasingly excellent call quality. VoIP generally uses Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) to control a call, and is used in conjunction with Real-time Transport protocol (RTP) or Real-time Transport control protocol (RTCP) to transmit voice and video data. VoIP can also be interconnected and communicated with a heterogeneous Network (heterogeneous Network) such as the mobile telecommunication Network or Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) through the SIP server. Wherein when interconnecting with the heterogeneous network, a payment must be made according to a rate specified by a system facilitator of the heterogeneous network. However, one of the main advantages of VoIP is low call cost, so that it is one of the problems that needs to be solved in the art how to allow users to enjoy call services with low call cost regardless of the calling party.
Disclosure of Invention
Accordingly, the present invention provides a communication system, apparatus and method thereof, which enable a user to reduce the charges required for a call by watching advertisement contents.
The invention provides a communication system, which comprises a connection processing server, an advertisement server and a communication device. The communication device is connected with the connection processing server and the advertisement server, establishes a call through the connection processing server, and receives advertisement information from the advertisement server. The advertisement information comprises an advertisement list and a plurality of advertisement contents corresponding to the advertisement list. When the communication device is in a termination state, the advertisement list is displayed. When the communication device receives the first operation signal, the communication device displays one of the advertisement contents corresponding to the first operation signal and transmits the auxiliary information to the connection processing server. When the connection processing server receives the subsidy information, the connection processing server updates a charge information corresponding to the communication device according to the subsidy information.
The invention provides a communication device which comprises a touch display unit, a communication unit and a control unit. The communication unit is connected to the connection processing server to establish a call. The control unit is connected with the communication unit and the touch display unit and is connected with the connection processing server and an advertisement server through the communication unit, and the control unit receives advertisement information from the advertisement server. The advertisement information comprises an advertisement list and a plurality of advertisement contents corresponding to the advertisement list. When the call is in a termination state, the control unit controls the touch display unit to display the advertisement list. When the control unit receives the first operation signal from the touch display unit, the control unit displays one of a plurality of advertisement contents corresponding to the first operation signal and transmits a subsidy message to the online processing server to update a cost message.
The invention provides a communication method, which comprises the following steps. First, a connection is made to a connection processing server to establish a call. An advertisement message is received from an advertisement server, wherein the advertisement message comprises an advertisement list and a plurality of advertisement contents corresponding to the advertisement list. And then, when the call is in a termination state, displaying the advertisement list on a touch display unit. When a first operation signal is received from the touch display unit, one of a plurality of advertisement contents corresponding to the first operation signal is displayed on the touch display unit, and a subsidy message is sent to the online processing server to update a cost message.
Based on the above, the present invention provides a communication system, a communication device and a method thereof, so that the communication device displays an advertisement list. When the user clicks one of the advertisement lists through the touch display unit, the communication device displays and displays the corresponding advertisement content and updates the corresponding expense information of the communication device at the same time.

Fig. 1 is a timing flow diagram illustrating a communication system in accordance with one embodiment of the present invention. Referring to fig. 1, the communication system 10 includes a connection billing server 110, a communication device 120 and an advertisement server 130. The communication device 120 is connected to the online charging server and the advertisement server 130. The communication device 120 transmits an advertisement request to the advertisement server 130 (step S101), and receives an advertisement message from the advertisement server 130. The advertisement information includes an advertisement list and a plurality of advertisement contents corresponding to the advertisement list (step S102). When the communication device 120 displays the advertisement list in the advertisement information and receives the first operation signal, for example, receives the user' S operation through a touch display unit (not shown), the communication device 120 displays one of the advertisement contents corresponding to the first operation signal, for example, the advertisement content corresponding to one of the items in the list clicked by the user (step S104).

In the present embodiment, the online charging server 110 is connected to a plurality of external devices (not shown) through a plurality of network methods. The communication device 120 can connect and communicate with an external device using the SIP protocol through the connection charging server 110. In addition, the communication device can also connect and talk with an external device using a heterogeneous network, such as a mobile telecommunication network or a PSTN, through the connection charging server 110. The charge information recorded in the online charging server 110 corresponds to a service charge to be paid for a session of the communication device 120 connected through a heterogeneous network. Fig. 3 is a flow chart illustrating a timing sequence for establishing an outbound call according to an embodiment of the present invention, providing a more detailed implementation of steps S201 to S202 in the embodiment of fig. 2. Referring to fig. 3, when the communication device 120 wants to establish an outgoing call (e.g., a user operates to make a phone call), the communication device 120 sends a call request to the online charging server 110 (step S301), and simultaneously sends an advertisement request to the advertisement server 130 (step S302). The advertisement request includes user data and/or location information of the communication device 120. The user data may be preset by the user and stored in the communication device 120, such as the user's gender, age, advertisement categories of interest, and the like.
When the advertisement server 130 receives the advertisement request, it searches a database (not shown) in the advertisement server 130 for a matching item according to the user data in the advertisement request and/or the positioning information of the current communication device 120, and generates an advertisement message (step S304). For example, the database of the advertisement server 130 includes a store in which the communication device 120 is located and in which the user is interested, so that the advertisement items and advertisement contents of the store can be put into the advertisement information. Alternatively, for example, when the advertisement server 130 receives an advertisement request during a meal time, the advertisement server 130 may search the database for the preference information of the restaurant near the location of the communication device 120, and put the advertisement content containing the preference information into the advertisement information. The present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiments, and may be modified according to the actual application of the system. After the advertisement server 130 creates the advertisement information in the above-mentioned manner, it returns the advertisement information to the communication device 120 (step S306).
On the other hand, after receiving the call request from the communication device 120, the connection charging server 110 connects to an external device (not shown) according to the call request (step S304), and establishes a call between the external device and the communication device 120 (step S305). If the communication device 120 has to establish a call through a network service (e.g., PSTN) requiring a charge if the call target specified in the call request, i.e., the external device, is specified, the online charging server 110 will also update the charge information corresponding to the communication device 120 according to the time of call establishment or other methods. The steps after the call is established may refer to the descriptions of steps S203 to S210 in the embodiment shown in fig. 2, which are not repeated herein.
Fig. 4 is a flow chart illustrating a timing sequence for establishing a dial-in call according to an embodiment of the present invention, which provides a more detailed implementation of step S201 and step S202 in the embodiment shown in fig. 1, similar to the embodiment shown in fig. 2. Referring to fig. 4, when the connection charging server 110 receives a request for establishing a call with the communication device 120 sent by an external device (not shown), the connection charging server 110 sends the call request to the communication device 120 (step S401).
After receiving the call request, the communication device 120 transmits an advertisement request to the advertisement server 130 (step S402). After receiving the advertisement request, the advertisement server can generate advertisement information (step S404) and transmit the advertisement information back to the communication device 120 (step S404) in the manner as described in the embodiment shown in fig. 3. On the other hand, after the communication device 120 receives the call request from the connection charging server 110, the call can be established through the connection charging server 110 (step 403). The steps after the call is established may refer to the descriptions of steps S203 to S210 in the embodiment shown in fig. 2, which are not repeated herein. In brief, the communication device 120 actively transmits the advertisement request to the advertisement server 130 regardless of whether the call is a dial-out call or a dial-in call (step S302 in fig. 3, step S402 in fig. 4).
In addition to the above-mentioned method, such as the user selecting the call by himself or displaying the advertisement information when the call is terminated, the present invention also provides other methods for the user of the communication device 120 to watch the advertisement to increase the free number of calls. Fig. 5 is a flow chart illustrating a timing for displaying update cost information according to an embodiment of the present invention. Referring to fig. 5, in the present embodiment, each time the communication device 120 receives the advertisement information (e.g., step S206 in fig. 1), a plurality of records corresponding to a plurality of advertisement contents in the advertisement information are stored in a history list.

When the communication device 120 displays the advertisement information, the user of the communication device 120 can increase the free call hours in the advertisement reading information and the subsidy information by having more interaction with the provider of the advertisement content. Referring to fig. 5, steps S510 to S513 and steps S521 to S526 show two flow steps for increasing the free call hours. When the user is interested in the advertisement content displayed by the communication device 120, for example, to purchase the goods in the advertisement content, and hope to obtain more data or a special comment, the user can operate the communication device 120 to transmit the user's personal data, such as a preset name and a contact method, to the advertisement server 130.

Fig. 6 is a block diagram of a communication device according to an embodiment of the invention. The control unit 123 is connected to the communication unit 122 and the touch display unit 121, and is connected to a connection charging server and an advertisement server through the communication unit 122. The control unit 123 transmits the advertisement request AR to the advertisement server 130 through the communication unit 122, and receives advertisement information AD including an advertisement list AL and a plurality of advertisement contents AC corresponding to the advertisement list AL from the advertisement server 130. When the control unit 123 controls the touch display unit 121 to display the advertisement list AL and the control unit 123 receives the first operation signal OS1 from the touch display unit 121, the control unit 123 displays one of the plurality of advertisement contents AC corresponding to the first operation signal OS1 and transmits advertisement reading information TI to the advertisement server to update a charge information corresponding to the communication device 120.
Referring to fig. 6, in an embodiment of the present invention, the communication unit 122 is connected to the connection charging server 110 in an external connection manner, and establishes a call CL through the connection charging server 110. When the communication unit 110 establishes the call CL, the control unit 123 receives the advertisement information AD from the advertisement server 130, and when the call CL is in the termination state, the control unit 123 controls the touch display unit 121 to display the advertisement list AL. When the control unit 123 receives the first operation signal OS1 from the touch display unit 121, the control unit 123 displays one of the advertisement contents AC corresponding to the first operation signal OS1 and transmits an advertisement reading information TI to the online charging server 110 to update the fee information.
When the call CL is a dial-out call, the communication unit 112 transmits a call request CR to the online charging server 110 to establish the call CL with an external device (not shown) through the online charging server 110, and the control unit 123 simultaneously transmits an advertisement request AR to the advertisement server 130, wherein the advertisement request AR includes user data and/or positioning information of the communication device 120. When the call is a dial-in call, the communication unit 122 receives the call request CR from the connection charging server 110, so that the communication unit 122 establishes a call CL with the external device through the connection charging server 110.
It should be noted that, in an embodiment of the present invention, the communication device 120 further includes a storage unit (not shown) connected to the control unit 123 for storing a history list HL, wherein the history list HL includes a plurality of records corresponding to a plurality of advertisement contents, and when the control unit 122 controls the touch display unit 121 to display the history list and receives a second operation signal OS2 corresponding to one of the records in the history list from the touch display unit 121, the control unit 123 transmits the advertisement request AR including the record to the advertisement server 130 and simultaneously transmits the advertisement reading information TI to the advertisement server 130. The control unit 123 receives the advertisement information AD returned by the advertisement server 130, wherein the advertisement information AD includes the corresponding advertisement content RAC corresponding to the record, and the control unit 123 controls the touch display unit 121 to display the corresponding advertisement content RAC.
When the control unit 123 controls the touch display unit 121 to display one of the advertisement contents AC or the corresponding advertisement content RAC, and receives the third operation signal from the touch display unit 121, the control unit 123 transmits the personal data PI and the advertisement reading information to the advertisement server 130. When the control unit 123 controls the touch display unit 121 to display one of the advertisement contents AC or the corresponding advertisement content RAC and receives the fourth operation signal OS4 through the touch display unit 121, the control unit 123 controls the communication unit 122 to transmit the call request CR to the connection charging server 110 and to transmit the advertisement reading information TI to the advertisement server 130, so as to establish a corresponding call RCL with an external device (not shown) corresponding to the advertisement content AC or the corresponding advertisement content RAC through the connection charging server 110.
The communication device 120 may be a handheld electronic device with communication capability and display capability, such as a smart phone, a tablet computer, etc., wherein each component thereof may be implemented by a physical circuit, or may be implemented by a processor executing program code content. For example, the control unit 123 can be implemented by a processor executing an application program, and the invention is not limited to the above-mentioned embodiment. Referring to fig. 7, first, an advertisement request is transmitted to the advertisement server, and an advertisement message is received from the advertisement server, wherein the advertisement message includes an advertisement list and a plurality of advertisement contents corresponding to the advertisement list (step S701). Then, when the advertisement list is displayed on the touch display unit and a first operation signal is received from the touch display unit, one of the advertisement contents corresponding to the first operation signal is displayed on the touch display unit and an advertisement reading message is sent to the advertisement server to update a fee message (step S702). The detailed implementation and details can refer to the above embodiments, and are not described herein again.
FIGS. 8A, 8B and 8C illustrate an embodiment of displaying advertisement listings and advertisement information according to the present invention. FIG. 8A shows an embodiment of displaying an advertisement listing, referring to FIG. 8A, the advertisement listing 70 includes advertisement items 701-705. The advertisement items 701-705 include advertisement slogans and brief introduction and other descriptive words, and points corresponding to the free call hours available for the advertisement if the user clicks on the advertisement. The advertisement list shown in fig. 8A may be displayed when the call is terminated (as in the embodiment shown in fig. 2), may be displayed by being clicked by the user to jump out, or may be displayed on a side bar of a dial key or other application program, etc., but the invention is not limited thereto. Fig. 8B shows an embodiment of displaying advertisement content, and in addition to displaying advertisement content 710, a button 712 is further shown. When the user presses the button 712, the communication device 120 responds to the third operation signal and transmits the personal data of the user to the advertisement server 130. Fig. 8C shows another embodiment of displaying advertisement content, and a button 722 is further shown in addition to the advertisement content 721. When the user presses the button 722, the communication device 120 responds to the fourth operation signal being received, and thereby establishes a call with the advertisement provider.
In summary, the present invention provides a communication system, a communication apparatus and a method thereof, which enable a user of the communication apparatus to increase free call hours by clicking advertisements, thereby reducing call costs for making calls. The communication device can receive the advertisement information from the advertisement server according to the preset preference of the user and the current position of the communication device, and provide the advertisement content which may be interested by the user. In addition, the user can increase the free call hours by increasing the interaction with the advertisement through clicking the self-selected advertisement, the past advertisement, leaving personal data or actively calling to the advertisement provider, so as to achieve more effective advertisement effect, and the user can obtain the required goods and the required goods.
Although the present invention has been described with reference to the above embodiments, it should be understood that the scope of the present invention is not limited thereto, and those skilled in the art can appropriately modify and substitute the same without departing from the spirit and scope of the present invention.
Claims (30)
1. A communication system, comprising:
a connection billing server;
an advertisement server;
a communication device connected to the online charging server and the advertisement server, sending an advertisement request to the advertisement server, and receiving an advertisement message from the advertisement server, wherein the advertisement message includes an advertisement list and a plurality of advertisement contents corresponding to the advertisement list;
when the communication device displays the advertisement list and receives a first operation signal, the communication device displays one of a plurality of advertisement contents corresponding to the first operation signal and transmits advertisement reading information to the advertisement server; and
when the advertisement server receives the advertisement reading information, the advertisement server transmits a supplementary message to the online charging server according to the advertisement reading information so as to update a charge message corresponding to the communication device.
2. The system of claim 1, wherein:
the advertisement request includes a user data and/or a positioning information of the communication device; and
the advertisement server receives the advertisement request and transmits the advertisement information to the communication device according to the user data and/or the positioning information.
3. The system of claim 1, wherein:
the communication device establishes a call through the connection charging server; and
when the call is in a termination state, the communication device displays the advertisement list.
4. The system of claim 3, wherein:
the termination state of the call is that the call is established unsuccessfully or hung up.
5. The system of claim 3, wherein:
when the call is a dial-out call, the communication device transmits a call request to the connection charging server so as to establish the call with an external device through the connection charging server; and
the communication device sends an advertisement request to the advertisement server.
6. The system of claim 3, wherein:
when the call is a dial-in call, the connection charging server transmits a call request to the communication device, so that the communication device establishes the call with an external device through the connection charging server; and
the communication device sends an advertisement request to the advertisement server.
7. The system of claim 1, wherein:
the communication device stores a plurality of records corresponding to a plurality of advertisement contents in the advertisement information in a history list, and when the communication device displays the history list and receives a second operation signal corresponding to one record in the history list, the communication device transmits the advertisement request and the advertisement reading information comprising the record to the advertisement server;
when the advertisement server receives the advertisement request, the advertisement information is returned to the communication device, wherein the advertisement information comprises a corresponding advertisement content corresponding to the record;
when the advertisement server receives the advertisement reading information, the advertisement server transmits the subsidy information to the online charging server to update the fee information corresponding to the communication device; and
when the communication device receives the advertisement information, the corresponding advertisement content is displayed.
8. The system of claim 7, wherein:
when the communication device displays one of the advertisement contents or the corresponding advertisement content and receives a third operation signal, the communication device transmits personal data and advertisement reading information to the advertisement server.
9. The system of claim 1, wherein:
when the communication device displays one of the advertisement contents or the corresponding advertisement content and receives a fourth operation signal, the communication device transmits the call request to the online charging server and transmits the advertisement reading information to the advertisement server; and
the connection charging server establishes a corresponding call between the communication device and an external device corresponding to the advertisement content or the corresponding advertisement content according to the call request.
10. The system of claim 1, wherein:
the charge information includes a free number of calls corresponding to the communication device; and
when the online charging server receives the subsidy information, the online charging server updates the charge information to increase the free number of calls corresponding to the communication device.
11. A communication device, comprising:
a touch display unit;
a communication unit;
the control unit is connected with the communication unit and the touch display unit and is connected with a connected billing server and an advertisement server through the communication unit, the control unit transmits an advertisement request to the advertisement server through the communication unit and receives advertisement information from the advertisement server, wherein the advertisement information comprises an advertisement list and a plurality of advertisement contents corresponding to the advertisement list; and
when the control unit controls the touch display unit to display the advertisement list and receives a first operation signal from the touch display unit, the control unit displays one of a plurality of advertisement contents corresponding to the first operation signal and transmits advertisement reading information to the advertisement server to update fee information corresponding to the communication device.
12. The apparatus of claim 11, wherein: the advertisement request includes a user data and/or a positioning information of the communication device.
13. The apparatus of claim 11, wherein:
the communication unit establishes a call through the connection charging server; and
when the call is in a termination state, the control unit controls the touch display unit to display the advertisement list.
14. The apparatus of claim 13, wherein:
the termination state of the call is that the call is established unsuccessfully or hung up.
15. The apparatus of claim 13, wherein:
when the call is a dial-out call, the communication unit transmits a call request to the connection charging server to establish the call with an external device through the connection charging server, and the control unit simultaneously transmits an advertisement request to the advertisement server.
16. The apparatus of claim 13, wherein:
when the call is a dial-in call, the communication unit receives a call request from the connection charging server, so that the communication unit establishes the call with an external device through the connection charging server, and the control unit simultaneously sends an advertisement request to the advertisement server.
17. The apparatus of claim 11, wherein the apparatus further comprises:
the storage unit is connected with the control unit and stores a history list, wherein the history list comprises a plurality of records corresponding to a plurality of advertisement contents;
when the control unit controls the touch display unit to display the history list and receives a second operation signal corresponding to one record in the history list from the touch display unit, the control unit transmits the advertisement request and the advertisement reading information comprising the record to the advertisement server; and
the control unit receives the advertisement information returned by the advertisement server, wherein the advertisement information comprises a corresponding advertisement content corresponding to the record, and the control unit controls the touch display unit to display the corresponding advertisement content.
18. The apparatus of claim 17, wherein:
when the control unit controls the touch display unit to display one of a plurality of advertisement contents or the corresponding advertisement content and receives a third operation signal from the touch display unit, the control unit transmits personal data and the advertisement reading information to the advertisement server.
19. The apparatus of claim 17, wherein:
when the control unit controls the touch display unit to display one of the plurality of advertisement contents or the corresponding advertisement content and receives a fourth operation signal through the touch display unit,
the control unit controls the communication unit to transmit the call request and the connection charging server so as to establish a corresponding call with an external device corresponding to the advertisement content or the corresponding advertisement content through the connection charging server and transmit the advertisement reading information to the advertisement server.
20. The apparatus of claim 11, wherein:
the charge information includes a free number of hours of conversation corresponding to the communication device.
21. A method of communication, comprising:
transmitting an advertisement request to an advertisement server and receiving an advertisement message from the advertisement server, wherein the advertisement message comprises an advertisement list and a plurality of advertisement contents corresponding to the advertisement list; and
when the advertisement list is displayed on a touch display unit and a first operation signal is received from the touch display unit, one of a plurality of advertisement contents corresponding to the first operation signal is displayed on the touch display unit, and an advertisement reading message is transmitted to the advertisement server to update a fee message.
22. The method of claim 21, wherein:
the advertisement request includes a user data and/or a positioning information.
23. The method of claim 21, wherein the step of receiving the advertisement information from the advertisement server further comprises:
establishing a call through the connection charging server; and
and when the call is in a termination state, controlling the touch display unit to display the advertisement list.
24. The method of claim 23 wherein the terminated state of the call is the call being established failed or hung up.
25. The method of claim 23, wherein:
when the call is a dial-out call, a call request is transmitted to the connection charging server to establish the call with an external device through the connection charging server, and an advertisement request is simultaneously transmitted to the advertisement server.
26. The method of claim 23, wherein:
when the call is a dial-in call, the communication unit receives a call request from the connection charging server, so that the communication unit establishes the call with an external device through the connection charging server.
27. The method of claim 21, wherein displaying one of a plurality of advertisement content on the touch-sensitive display unit further comprises:
storing a record corresponding to the advertisement content in a history list in a storage unit;
when a touch display unit is controlled to display the history list and a second operation signal corresponding to one record in the history list is received from the touch display unit, transmitting the advertisement request and the advertisement reading information comprising the record to the advertisement server; and
and receiving the advertisement information, wherein the advertisement information comprises a corresponding advertisement content corresponding to the advertisement requirement, and controlling the touch display unit to display the corresponding advertisement content.
28. The method of claim 27, wherein:
when the touch display unit is controlled to display the advertisement information or the corresponding advertisement information and a third operation signal is received from the touch display unit, personal data and the advertisement reading information are transmitted to the advertisement server.
29. The method of claim 27, wherein:
when the touch display unit is controlled to display one of the advertisement contents or the corresponding advertisement content and a fourth operation signal is received through the touch display unit,
and transmitting the call request to the online charging server to establish a corresponding call with an external device corresponding to the advertisement content or the corresponding advertisement content through the online charging server, and simultaneously transmitting the advertisement reading information to the advertisement server.
30. The method of claim 21, wherein:
the charge information includes a free number of hours of conversation corresponding to the communication device.
