Skin moisturizing cosmetic composition containing rosin extract, Pinus densiflora needle extract and Pinus densiflora root extract
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a skin moisturizing cosmetic composition containing rosin extract, pinus densiflora needle extract and pinus densiflora root extract as active ingredients, and more particularly, to a skin moisturizing cosmetic composition containing rosin extract, pinus densiflora needle extract and pinus densiflora root extract as active ingredients and having an increased skin moisturizing activity and improved skin texture, skin transparency and skin contour.
Background
Rosin (pine tree pulp) is a substance produced by damaged pine trees for the purpose of protecting themselves to cover the damaged area. The rosin prevents loss of water, and propagation and infiltration of disease-causing microorganisms, and has a healing effect of preventing necrosis of damaged areas of pine trees.
Among natural materials of herbal medicine described in various oriental medicine and folk prescription, rosin has a curative effect on inflammation, gastrointestinal diseases, tuberculosis, etc., and a paste of its powder and water has recently been reported as a good mask for acne treatment.
On the other hand, among natural materials of herbal medicine described in various oriental medicine and folk prescription, Korean native Japanese red pine needle is reported to have therapeutic effects on liver diseases, urogenital diseases, gastrointestinal diseases, circulatory diseases, skin diseases, etc., and recently, many documents disclose properties of Japanese red pine needle extract, such as aromaticity, antimicrobial properties, Antioxidant properties, and function of inhibiting melanin activation (Jung et al, antibiotic principles from the needles of red pine, Pinus Densiflora. Phythoother Res., 17 (9): 1064-1068, 2003). A test involving the pharmacological effects of red pine needles has been reported to reveal the effects on lipid metabolism, antimicrobial properties, anti-mutagenic properties, antioxidant properties and antihypertensive properties in rats when pine needles are introduced into the diet (Kang et al, Korean J. food Sci. technol., 27 (6): 978-.
In the culture of korea, pinus densiflora of the family pinus is a traditional dietary ingredient, which is considered as a drug for improving health status and life quality of life, even converting human into super natural life, and is a symbol of firmed and persevered korean, and has different therapeutic effects on different diseases according to location.
Red pine (red pine) is used for medical purposes, with parts of red pine having different names, such as the nodes of branches and stems called "pine nodes"; the undeveloped roots and root barks are called "pine roots"; the bud or bud tip is called "pine tip"; the needles are called "pine needles"; "pollen Pini"; "pine cone"; and "pine bark".
Among these parts, according to the oriental medical record, pine roots collected and dried in spring are known to have a bitter taste and have a property milder than cold, but have no toxicity. The effective components of pine root include 75% alpha-pinene, camphene, dipentene, alpha-terpineol, camphor, p-methanol, etc.
According to oriental medicine, pine root is used for relieving fatigue and treating bruise, ecchymosis, soreness, hemoptysis and toothache. However, there is little theoretical report on the benefits of rosin, pinus densiflora needles and pinus densiflora roots, such as the effects of increasing skin moisturizing activity and improving skin texture, skin clarity and skin contours.

Detailed Description
Hereinafter, the present invention will be explained in further detail.
Rosin as used in the present invention is a substance exuded from damaged pinus densiflora to protect and heal the damaged area. In the phytology catalog "Ben Cao Gang Mu (Bon-cho-kang-mok)", rosin is milder than cold, tastes bitter and sweet, has therapeutic effects on lung and stomach, reduces irritation to skin, provides antimicrobial properties, and cures inflammation. The korean medical book "Dongu Bogam" indicates that rosin helps to provide comfort to the heart, liver, spleen, lung and kidney, five internal organs, remove heat and treat numbness and etiology. Rosin is also indicated to have the effects of alleviating sores, tinea capitis and itching, treating tooth cavities caused by alopecia, ear infections and periodontitis, aiding skin regeneration and alleviating pain.
In order to obtain a rosin extract as used in the present invention, the crude rosin (rosin) is crystallized and the product is collected, condensed and distilled/captured, leaving the portion (40% of the total) excluding the top and bottom. After two purifications, the product was hydrogenated, purified for the third time, and then distilled to collect the portion (80% of the total amount) except the top and bottom.
The skin cosmetic composition of the present invention contains 0.001 to 10% by weight of the rosin extract relative to the total weight of the composition. A content of the rosin extract less than 0.001 wt% exerts a small effect, and a content of the rosin exceeding 10 wt% does not show any significant increase in the effect associated with the increased content.
Pinus densiflora pine used in the present invention also becomes "pine needle", which is bitter in taste but milder than cold, and has no toxicity. Traditionally, pine needles are considered to act on the heart and spleen for the treatment of joint pain, tinea cruris, syphilitic ulcers, furuncles of leprosy, gout, and the like.
To obtain the pinus densiflora needle extract as used in the present invention, 50g of pinus densiflora needle leaves were precisely weighed, extracted with 70% ethanol at room temperature for 48 hours, and concentrated by removing the ethanol by evaporation. The concentrated extract can be used directly as a sample without further treatment.
The composition for external use on skin according to the present invention contains 0.001 to 10 weight of the pinus densiflora needle extract relative to the total weight of the composition. The content of the pinus densiflora needle extract less than 0.001 wt% exerts a smaller effect, and the content of the pinus densiflora needle extract more than 10 wt% does not show any significant increase in the effect associated with the increased content.
The red pine root extract treatment method used in the present invention is as follows. First, red pine roots are extracted with water or an organic solvent to obtain a germinated plant seed extract. The organic solvent as used herein may include at least one selected from the group consisting of ethanol, methanol, butanol, ether, ethyl acetate, or chloroform; or a mixture of an organic solvent and water. Preferably, the organic solvent may be 80% ethanol.
The composition for external application to the skin according to the present invention contains 0.001 to 10% by weight of the extract of red pine root relative to the total weight of the composition. The content of the red pine root extract less than 0.001 wt% exerts a small effect, and the content of the red pine root extract exceeding 10 wt% does not show any significant increase in the effect associated with the increased content.
The composition for external application to the skin according to the invention contains a cosmetically and dermatologically acceptable medium and/or matrix in any type of formulation suitable for topical application, such as in the form of a solution, a gel, a solid or viscous anhydrous product, an oil-in-water emulsion, a suspension, a microemulsion, microcapsules, microparticles or ionic (liposome) and/or non-ionic vesicular dispersions, or in the form of a cream, a skin tonic, an emollient milk, a powder, an ointment, a spray or a concealer stick. The compositions may be prepared by methods of preparation known to those skilled in the art. Furthermore, the compositions for external application to the skin according to the invention may also be used in the form of foam or aerosol compositions further comprising a compressed propellant.
The composition for external application to the skin according to the invention may further comprise excipients commonly used in the cosmetic or dermatological field, such as lipid components, organic solvents, solubilizers, thickeners (gelling agents), emollients, antioxidants, suspending agents, stabilizers, foaming agents, fragrance ingredients, surfactants, water, ionic or nonionic emulsifiers, fillers, chelating agents (metal ion chelating agents), preservatives, vitamins, occlusive agents, humectants, essential oils, colorants (dyes and pigments), hydrophilic or lipophilic active agents, lipid vesicles or any other ingredient commonly used in cosmetic compositions. These excipients are used in amounts generally acceptable in cosmetics or dermatology.
Hereinafter, the present invention will be described with reference to examples and experimental examples, which are not intended to limit the scope of the present invention.
