Abstract

A docking station (100) for media player has a body having a base (10) and a support (20), the support (20) having a first part (21) connected to the base (10), and a holder (30) connected to a second part (22) of the support (20). The holder (30) releasably holds a media player and includes a connector (32) therefor. An amplifier circuit (52) amplifies an audio signal from the media player via the connector (32). Two speakers (40) are located in the support (20) and connected to the amplifier circuit (52) for reproducing sound based on audio signal amplified by the amplifier circuit (52). Also included is adjusting means for adjusting the position of the holder (30) relative to the base (10), such as a hinge (29) between the first and second parts (21 & 22) of the support (20).
