Description
The invention relates to a flat transparent cover, and in particular a flat transparent cover with a rectangular transparent cover and a rectangular preferably transparent backing, the cover and backing being flexible sheets, the cover and backing being joined together along at least two or not more than three of the leaf edges, so that the cover is open along at least one of the leaf edges and the joined leaf edges are in the plane of the cover.
In everyday life, it is often necessary to keep printed or written sheets of paper, pictures, plastic sheets or the like in a protected condition. It has been shown to be practical to place a sheet or small groups of sheets with a meaningful or factual content in a flat protective cover. The protective cover has a rectangular cover and a rectangular back cover, the cover and back cover being flexible sheets. The cover sheet and back cover are connected along two of the leaf edges, so that the cover is open along two of the leaf edges, and the interconnected leaf edges are connected in the cover.
Flat protective covers are also known, in which the cover and back cover are joined together along three of the leaf edges, so that the cover is open along one of the leaf edges.
The cover sheets of many flat protective covers are transparent, so that the viewer can see the over-uppered sheet through the cover sheet.
If several sheets are placed in such a flat clear-sighted envelope, it is advantageous to place as the top sheet a sheet which contains a table of contents or a keyword and/or image characterizing the contents of the sheets placed in the flat clear-sighted envelope, so that the viewer can quickly get an overview of the contents of the sheets placed in the flat clear-sighted envelope.
The problem with state-of-the-art clear-sighted displays is that people with visual impairments often cannot correctly recognize or read the characters and/or images on the top sheet; the font size of many printed documents is so small that even people with normal vision often have difficulty reading such documents; and poor lighting conditions can be responsible for people with normal vision being unable to recognize the characters and/or images on the top sheet with great effort and increased time; and people with visual impairments can no longer recognize the characters and/or images on the top sheet in such poor lighting conditions.
The present invention solves the problem of providing a novel clear-sighted envelope, which allows the use of the clear-sighted envelope to easily and clearly identify text and/or images on a sheet of paper placed too high in the clear-sighted envelope, especially by people with visual impairment.
The task is carried out by means of a flat clear-sighted cover with a rectangular transparent cover sheet and a rectangular preferably transparent back sheet, the cover sheet and back sheet being flexible sheets, the cover sheet and back sheet being joined together along at least two or not more than three of the edges of the sheet so that the cover is exposed along at least one of the edges of the sheet, the interconnected edges of the sheet being in the plane of the cover sheet, and the transparent back sheet being made up entirely of a material of the type of magnifying glass and being highly deformable, so that the cover sheet can be shaped underneath the cover sheet and the contents of the cover sheet can be enlarged by raising the cover sheet between the cover sheet and the back sheet of paper inserted.
The magnifying material is a transparent optical magnifying film, which is so formed that an object viewed through the magnifying film appears to the viewer to be optically enlarged when there is a distance between the magnifying film and the object.
The optical magnification of the contents of a sheet placed in the upper part of the clear-sighted cover in accordance with the invention can therefore be adjusted by raising the cover sheet.
DE-U-9206947 is known as a card cover in the form of a cheque card cover, which can be inserted into the card sideways and has a view window on the flat top. The bottom is formed as a Fresnel lens in at least one area under the view window. Alternatively, the entire top is transparent, while only part of the bottom is formed as a Fresnel lens. Also, the bottom can be transparent and the top can have a Fresnel lens at least in the window area.
If the leaves in the flat transparent envelope of the invention are smaller than the cover and smaller than the back, so that the cover and back cover the inlaid top or bottom leaves, the leaves in the transparent envelope are well protected against many possible damage.
The special advantage is that the flat transparent cover of the invention is flexible and, unlike rigid protective covers, can be greatly deformed without damage.
In another embodiment of the flat transparent cover of the invention, the back cover may be furthermore formed of a magnifying material, so that the back of the sheet inserted below can also be visually enlarged.
In some cases it is useful to tape the flat transparent cover of the invention in a folder, so that the flat transparent cover of the invention may have a tape strip at one of the interconnected edges of the leaf, in which at least two holes are arranged at a distance from each other, so that the flat transparent cover of the invention can be tape by conventional bonding devices.
The following is a detailed description of the invention by reference to the drawings and preferred embodiments.
Figure 1 a perspective view of a first embodiment of the invention's flat-eye lining,Figure 2 a perspective view of a second embodiment of the invention's flat-eye lining andFigure 3 a perspective view of a third embodiment of the invention's flat-eye lining.
Figure 1 shows a perspective view of a flat transparent cover in an initial embodiment of the invention. The clear cover has a rectangular transparent cover sheet 1 and a rectangular preferably transparent back sheet 2, the cover sheet 1 and back sheet 2 being equal-sized flexible sheets and lying flat on top of each other. Furthermore, the cover sheet 1 and back sheet 2 are connected along two of the leaf edges so that the cover is open along two of the leaf edges, the interconnected leaf edges being in the cover sheet. The transparent back sheet 1 is made up of a single sheet of material.
Such a flat clear-sighted cover is preferable as a protective cover for rapid insertion of leaves, since it requires only the lifting of the cover sheet 1 and the enlargement can be adjusted by lifting the cover sheet over the largest area of the same without any step.
Figure 2 shows a perspective view of a flat clear-sighted cover in a second embodiment according to the invention. The cover sheet 1 and the back sheet 2 are joined together along three of the leaf edges so that the cover is open along one leaf edge. Otherwise this embodiment corresponds to the first embodiment in Figure 1.
Such a flat clear-sighted cover is preferably used as a protective cover to accommodate fewer leaves which are to be secured against slipping out of the flat clear-sighted cover, e.g. during transport.
The view of a flat transparent envelope in a third embodiment according to the invention is shown in Figure 3, whereby the flat transparent envelope according to the invention has a strip 3 in which at least two holes 4 are placed at a distance from each other so that the transparent envelope according to the invention can be glued by conventional adhesive devices.
