Description
The invention relates to a conveying installation for rope pulling, primarily for the transport of persons, wherein one or more cables, designed as continuous steel cables, are guided parallel to one another by guide wheels and at least over part of the transport section, and wherein cable trolleys running on rails are preferably connected to the cables by means of a detachable connecting device.
Cable-loop cable-tracks are known, in which the cable car can be disconnected from the cable. In the case of pulse systems acting on cables by means of fixed connecting devices, the cable car is guided around guide wheels, with a turnaround device being provided at the end position, which requires a large space and makes the station large. Furthermore, for reasons of manufacture of the cables designed as continuous cables, intermediate stations must be provided when the conveying distances are relatively long, which are either designed as transfer stations or designed for passing without stopping by means of special traction devices. These measures also lengthen the relatively large stations, which are expensive in densely built areas. In the construction of cableways, switching or branching off from the main cable track is only envisaged to be carried out by transfer stations or intermediate stations with continuous conveying means and special traction means.
GB22316AD1895A discloses a clamp for a rail convertible into a cable drive, wherein the cable runs symmetrically to the rail axis in a cable box.
US3871.303A discloses a transport device with cable-driven acceleration and braking sections in front of and behind each station, where a separate clamp is provided for each cable. This leads to misconnections and thus failures, as described at GB1544.929A, which can be avoided by using a common multiple clamp, wherein each clamp is blocked by a mechanism so that only one sub-clamp is active at all times. There is the disadvantage that the mechanical clamp is fixedly arranged in an inaccessible position and therefore can only detect wear when a fault occurs.
The aim of the invention is to reduce the number of stations and to avoid transfers by taking measures to overcome the above-mentioned disadvantages. The invention is characterized in that at least two rotatable and alternately engageable coupling devices are provided on the cable, which connect the cable car with one strand of the cable, respectively; and, in the cable car, a device is provided which can switch the connecting device from one cable to the other at a branch of the main line or over an extension of the main line.
The present invention is illustrated by way of example and schematically in the accompanying drawings. In the drawing the lower part and chassis of a cable car of a cable lane and the connection to the cable are shown.
At least in the region of the turning point and in the region of the branching point, two cables 2 and 3 running parallel to one another are provided which are essentially symmetrical to the track center line 1 or are arranged side by side on one side of the track center line 1, in particular running up and down, and which can be connected alternately to the cable car 4 by means of at least two pivotably mounted connecting devices 5, 6. These connection devices 5 and 6 make it possible, for example, in the end position to change the direction of travel by simply switching the connection device 5 over to the connection device 6, without a turnaround station for the cable car 4 having to be provided, since the direction of travel is simply changed over on cable reversing strands designed as continuous copper cables. However, these connection devices 5 and 6 can also be switched during the travel of the cable car, so that, for example, branching off from the main line or lengthening of the main line can be effected without stopping in a planned way or without reducing the travel speed. Of course, in this case the cable strands 2 and 3 are arranged in the same direction of movement and at the same cable speed. In order to be able to guide the cable car 4 accordingly through the turnout even during travel, a central guide 7 is provided, which is designed on both sides as a guide for the respective running gear 8 or 8 ' which can be lowered, so that the cable car is held in the track either by the running gear 8, 9 or by the running gear 8 ', 9 '. Switching on the running gear can be effected by switching from one cable 2 to the other cable 3 by means of the connecting device 5 or 6. As connecting means, use can be made of the above-described clamps or else of a trolley system which can be moved relative to one another. More connecting devices 5 and 6 can also be provided in the train, the switching of which is effected by electronic, in particular automatic, lines or mechanically by a switching ruler or also manually by the driver.
The invention makes it possible to move not only individual cable cars but also a complete train of cable cars, in which case the coupling devices according to the invention in pairs can be arranged singly or multiply within the first cable car, in particular between the cable cars. The invention makes it possible to transport a plurality of trains on a track on permanent ropeways, which trains are operated at a defined distance according to the distance between the switches, by providing switches of the Abtschen turnout type, wherein the switches are designed as stations. It is important in this case that the connection of the trains on the cable can be made only at certain points of the cable. An important advantage of the invention is that the strands of a cable can be arranged continuously or also branched from the main line, so that a suburban transport system covering a certain area is formed, in which transport system the train can be driven from one end point to a selected end point.
The invention is not only intended for rail-mounted systems, but also for aerial cableways, in which case the actuation of the various connecting devices or clamps can be effected either mechanically by means of a switch ruler or automatically, for example hydraulically or electrically.
The invention is applicable both to circulation systems, where the cable car is unhooked in an intermediate station, and to impulse systems, where the cable car remains on the cable in an intermediate station and may continue to travel at a slower speed.
