Description
Technical Field
The present invention relates to an outdoor unit of a separate type air conditioner installed outdoors, and more particularly, to an outdoor unit suitable for wiring and assembly from above.
Background
In recent years, outdoor units of split type air conditioners, particularly outdoor units installed immediately below windows, balconies, stairs, or roofs, are often provided with wiring sections and piping sections at the upper part of the cabinet, and the upper surface of the cabinet is a detachable ceiling, for the sake of downsizing and weight saving, and suitable for wiring and assembly from above.
As shown in fig. 5, an example of a conventional outdoor unit has a casing 21 partitioned into 2 chambers, i.e., a fan chamber P and a compressor chamber Q, by a sound insulation panel 31. A fan 26, a heat exchanger 28, and the like are housed in the fan chamber P, a compressor 29 and the like are housed in the lower portion of the compressor chamber Q, and a pipe connection portion 30 is provided in the upper portion of the compressor chamber Q, the pipe connection portion 30 connecting a refrigerant pipe from the indoor unit to the compressor 29. The wiring 25 for power connection can be led from outside the casing 21 into the installation space R of the pipe connection portion 30 located above the compressor chamber Q from above by wiring work. However, since the pipe connection portion 30 is condensed due to the operation of the air conditioner, the power supply board 23 is provided in the installation space S on the upper portion of the fan chamber P side, and is separated from the installation space R by the partition wall 24a, and the wiring 25 is connected through the through hole 31 in which the partition wall 24a is provided. Such wiring work from above is performed after the top plate 22 of the case 21 is removed and the upper portion of the installation space R, S is opened. After the wiring work, in order to prevent water from entering the installation space S of the power supply board 23, it is necessary to seal the gap between the through hole 31 and the wiring 25, and when water enters the fan chamber P due to rain or defrosting operation in the heating mode and adheres to the fan 26, a part of the water is strongly splashed toward the installation area of the power supply board 23 by the rotation of the fan 26, and therefore, gaps formed between the installation space S and the air passage such as between the opening edge portion 32 of the power supply board 23 that opens above the installation space S and the top plate 22 are also sealed by filling caulking material.
However, in the conventional outdoor unit, the wiring 25 led from the outside of the casing 21 to the installation space R must be led to the installation space S through the through hole 31, which makes the drawing operation inconvenient, and the operation of connecting the wiring 25 led to the installation space S to the power supply board 23 is also hindered by the partition wall 24a between the two spaces R, S, which makes the drawing operation difficult.
In addition, although the gap between the air passage and the installation space S varies depending on the shape and structure of the installation space S, the shape of the opening edge portion 32 opened upward and the top plate 22 is generally complicated, and the surface area thereof is large, so that the caulking is difficult, the time required for the work is long, a large amount of sealing material is consumed, and the work cost is high.
The present invention has been made in view of the above problems, and an object of the present invention is to provide an outdoor unit of a separate type air conditioner capable of easily preventing water from entering a power supply board installation area, and improving workability of wiring and assembling from above as necessary.
Disclosure of Invention
In order to achieve the above object, the present invention provides an outdoor unit of a split type air conditioner, in which a fan and a power supply board located at an upper portion near the fan are installed inside a casing installed outdoors, a ceiling is formed on an upper surface of the casing, and a water blocking plate is installed to cross a tangent line from the fan toward an installation area of the power supply board in a rotation direction of the fan, the outdoor unit comprising: the water guard plate is integrally formed with the top plate so as to hang down from the top plate.
According to the outdoor unit of the separate type air conditioner of the present invention, even if water intruded into the outdoor unit and attached to the fan splashes toward the power board installation area due to the rotation of the fan, the water splashed toward the power board installation area is received before reaching the power board installation area on the tangent line drawn from the fan toward the power board installation area in the rotation direction in which the water deflector crosses and which is set under the above-described positional condition.
When the water guard plate is integrated with the top plate in a manner of hanging from the top plate, the water guard plate can be arranged without increasing the number of parts and assembling time, and the caulking operation for sealing the gap is not needed because the gap is not generated between the water guard plate and the top plate.
Comprises a top plate, a communication port and a partition plate; the top plate is detachably arranged at the upper part of the box body; the communication port is opened upward and is used for leading the wiring from the adjacent area in the box body to the power panel setting area; a partition plate integrally formed on the top plate, suspended from the top plate in accordance with the communication port, and adapted to block the communication port from above; the lower end of the partition plate is provided with a flexible resin member or rubber member which is deformed in accordance with the shape of the facing surface and is brought into close contact therewith. In this way, when wiring is drawn into the case from the outside and wired from the adjacent region to the power supply board installation region, it is only necessary to fit the wiring into the communication port opened upward from above across both the power supply board installation region and the adjacent region, and work to pass through the hole is not necessary, so that workability of wiring can be improved, and after wiring, by merely attaching the top plate, it is possible to sandwich the wiring by a flexible resin member or rubber member provided at the lower end of the partition plate integrally formed on the top plate, and to deform and closely adhere to the wiring in accordance with the shape of the facing surface, so that it is possible to prevent water from entering from the adjacent region through the communication port without performing a special sealing work, which is convenient. Further, if the communication port is provided along the entire width of the power supply board installation region, the wiring operation is advantageous for connecting the wiring to the power supply board because there is no partition wall between the two regions.

Detailed Description
Embodiments of the present invention are described below with reference to the drawings.
Embodiment 1 of the outdoor unit of the split type air conditioner according to the present invention is a box-shaped outdoor unit directly nailed to, for example, the outer wall surface under a window, as shown in fig. 1 and 2, the inside of the casing 1 of the outdoor unit is partitioned by a baffle plate 11 into two chambers, i.e., a fan chamber a for housing a fan 6, a heat exchanger 8, etc., and a compressor chamber B for housing a compressor 9, etc., and a detachable top plate 2 is provided on the upper surface of the casing 1. A power supply board installation region D in an upper portion of the fan chamber a has a power supply board 3 as a connection portion of the wiring 5, and a water guard 4 crossing a tangent line a of the fan 6, the tangent line a facing the power supply board installation region D in a rotation direction of the fan 6; a pipe connection portion 10 is provided in an adjacent region (pipe connection region) C in an upper portion of the compressor chamber B; a through hole 13 is provided in the upper portion of the noise isolation plate 11, and the wiring 5 reaches the power supply plate installation region D, which is an adjacent region thereof, from the adjacent region C through the through hole 13.
The water guard 4 is a sheet metal member as shown in fig. 1 and 2, and has a lower side suspended to a lower portion of the fan chamber a and an upper end almost contacting the top plate 2 in a state where the top plate 2 is attached to the casing 1. The water guard plate 4 can be easily installed by using the heat exchanger 8 and the upper portion of the fan 7, and can be detachably attached for maintenance, and can be additionally installed to the outdoor unit of the related art.
After the outdoor unit is mounted on the outer wall surface under the window, the top plate 2 is removed, the wiring 5 from the indoor unit not shown in the figure is led into the adjacent area C, the wiring 5 is routed to the power supply board 3 through the through hole 13 in the upper part of the baffle plate 11, the piping is performed at the piping connection part 10, and finally the top plate 2 is mounted, thereby completing the installation process.
In the use of the outdoor unit, the defrosting operation in the rainfall and heating modes causes water to enter the outdoor unit or to form dew, and the water adheres to the fan 6 and splashes due to the rotation of the fan 6. According to embodiment 1, even if a part of the water splashes in the rotation direction b of the fan 6 along the tangent line a to the power board installation area D as shown in fig. 2, the water is blocked by the water blocking plate 4 before reaching the power board installation area D, and therefore, the water is prevented from entering the power board 3 without sealing between the air passage formed by the fan chamber a after the connection of the wiring 5 and the power board installation area D.
As shown in fig. 3 and 4, the outdoor unit 2 of the separate type air conditioner of the present invention has a casing 1, a lower portion of which is divided into 2 compartments, i.e., a fan compartment a for accommodating a fan 6 and the like and a compressor compartment B for accommodating a compressor 9 and the like, by a baffle 15, a power supply board 3 above the fan 6, a pipe connecting portion 10 above the compressor 9, and a communication port 16 opened upward for allowing a wiring 5 to reach a power supply board installation area D from an adjacent area C are provided in an upper portion of the casing 1, and a detachable top plate 12 is provided in an upper portion of the casing 1.
As shown in fig. 4, the top plate 12 is integrally provided with a water guard 14 and a partition 17. The water guard 14 is suspended from the top plate 12 and crosses a tangent line of the fan 6 toward the power board installation area D. The partition 17 is suspended from the top plate 12 in accordance with the communication port 16, and the resin member 18 at the lower end is deformed in accordance with the shape thereof on the facing surface 19 of the communication port 16 and is brought into close contact therewith.
The water guard 14 is welded to the top plate 12 at its upper end without a gap, and its lower side hangs down toward the lower portion of the fan chamber a in a state where the top plate 12 is attached to the case 1.
The partition plate 17 is welded to the top plate 12 at its upper end without a gap, and has a silicone resin member 18 at its lower end, the silicone resin member 18 containing a plasticizer and having flexibility. After the wiring of the power supply board 3, the silicone resin member 18 is deformed and adhered to the facing surface 19 of the communication port 16 by simply mounting the top plate 12 on the case 1, and the wiring 5 crossing the communication port 16 is sandwiched between the facing surface 19, whereby the power supply board installation region D and the adjacent region C can be separated and the communication port 16 can be sealed.
The member provided at the lower end of the partition 17 is not limited to the above-described one, and may be a rubber member such as an elastomer containing substantially no curing agent as long as it has flexibility necessary for deformation, adhesion to the facing surface 19, and necessary connection strength to the lower end of the partition 17.
According to embodiment 2, as shown in fig. 4, the same effects as those of embodiment 1 can be obtained without increasing the number of components. Further, when wiring is conducted from the outside to the power supply board 3 through the adjacent area C, as shown in fig. 3, since the partition 17 is not provided in the communication port 16 across which the wiring 5 crosses, workability of wiring can be improved, and since the communication port 16 can be sealed by the partition 17 as shown in fig. 4 by simply mounting the top plate 12 to the case 1 after wiring, it is possible to prevent water from entering from the adjacent area C through the communication port 16 without particularly performing a sealing work between the power supply board installation area D and the adjacent area C.
As in the above-described embodiment, when the communication port 16 is provided over the entire width of the power board installation region D, the wiring 5 is connected to the power board 3 in a relatively convenient manner because there is no partition wall between the power board installation region D and the adjacent region C in the wiring work, but the present invention is not limited thereto, and as long as the width of the communication port allows the wiring 5 to be fitted from above, the work of passing the wiring 5 through the through hole is not necessary, and the workability is good.
Possibility of industrial utilization
According to the outdoor unit of the separate type air conditioner of the present invention, even if water intruded into the outdoor unit and attached to the fan is scattered to the power board installation area by the rotation of the fan, the water scattered to the power board installation area is positioned on the tangent line of the fan toward the power board installation area in the rotation direction (the water guard installed under the above-mentioned position condition crosses the rotation direction), and is caught before reaching the power board installation area, so that the water is not sealed between the power board installation area and the fan air passage after the wiring connection, and the intrusion of water to the power board can be prevented.
When the water guard is integrally formed on the top plate so as to hang down from the top plate, the water guard can be installed without increasing the number of parts and assembling man-hours, and since no gap is formed between the water guard and the top plate, a caulking operation for closing the gap is not required.
Comprises a top plate, a communication port and a partition plate; the top plate is detachably arranged at the upper part of the box body; the communication port is opened upward and is used for leading the wiring from the adjacent area in the box body to the power panel arranging area; a partition plate integrally formed on the top plate, suspended from the top plate in accordance with the communication port, and adapted to block the communication port from above; the partition plate has a resin member or a rubber member at a lower end, which is deformed at the facing surface in accordance with the shape thereof to be closely attached thereto. In this way, when wiring is drawn into the case from the outside and wired from the adjacent region to the power supply board installation region, it is only necessary to fit the wiring into the communication port opened upward from above across both the power supply board installation region and the adjacent region, and work to pass through the hole is not necessary, so that workability of wiring can be improved, and after wiring, if the top plate is attached, the wiring can be sandwiched by a flexible resin member or rubber member provided at the lower end of the partition plate integrally formed on the top plate and deformed in accordance with the facing surface to be brought into close contact therewith, so that water can be prevented from entering from the adjacent region through the communication port without performing a special sealing work, which is preferable. Further, if the communication port is provided along the entire width of the power supply board installation region, the wiring work is advantageous for connecting the wiring to the power supply board because there is no partition wall between the two regions.
