Description
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a facsimile apparatus capable of connecting a plurality of lines, and transmitting source information (TTI) such as a transmission source name, a telephone number, a transmission date and time to a transmission destination to the screen information to be transmitted.
Background
Conventionally, in order to improve the function of a facsimile apparatus, a communication port, a loop unit, and the like are added to the apparatus, and the facsimile apparatus is connectable to a plurality of loops, and in such a facsimile apparatus, it is necessary to secure an idle loop for communication at the time of transmission, and a method is adopted in which a plurality of loops are allocated to different transmission destinations and used, and a transmission loop and a reception loop are independent from each other, so that the processing efficiency of facsimile communication is improved.
In such a facsimile apparatus, a simulcast communication function of simultaneously transmitting the same content to a plurality of transmission destinations is provided by using a plurality of return lines as a simulcast communication. In simulcast (broadcast) communication, simulcast communication processing can be efficiently performed by using a plurality of return lines simultaneously.
However, in facsimile communication, source information such as a telephone number, a source name, a transmission date and time, and the number of pages of a return line used is added to the header of document data and transmitted, and the information is printed at the top of each page of the document at a transmission destination. At the receiving site, when facsimile communication is performed with the transmission source, the telephone number, which is the transmission source information of the received facsimile data, can be known.
For example, when a plurality of lines are used by being allocated to different destinations, if the simulcast communication as described above is performed using the plurality of lines, there is a possibility that a telephone number of a line used by a non-receiving party is printed as transmission source information. Therefore, when the receiving side transmits facsimile data by referring to the telephone number of the transmission source information, the receiving side is required to distinguish the transmitting side from the receiving side and to distribute the return line, which causes management confusion.
Also, in the case of distinguishing the use of the transmission and reception return lines, once the facsimile data is transmitted on the transmission back line, the processing efficiency of the facsimile communication is caused to decrease.
Disclosure of the invention
The present invention has been made to solve the above-mentioned problems, and an object of the present invention is to provide a facsimile apparatus which, in facsimile communication in which simulcast communication is simultaneously performed using a plurality of lines, sets a telephone number transmitted to a transmission destination as source information to a telephone number of a line connected to the facsimile apparatus, a telephone number selected by an operator, a telephone number of a line for reception, and the like, regardless of which line is used, thereby unifying source information of simulcast communication using a plurality of lines, preventing confusion of information management in a case where a plurality of lines are allocated to different transmission destinations to be used, and improving processing efficiency of facsimile communication in a case where a plurality of lines are separately transmitted and received to be used independently.
In order to achieve the purpose, the invention adopts the following technical scheme:
a facsimile apparatus capable of connecting a plurality of return lines, comprising:
a facsimile apparatus body; 1 or more additional loop units; a storage device for storing information of a plurality of transmission sources of a specific loop; an extracting device for extracting predetermined transmission source information from the stored transmission source information when transmitting the screen information;
a transmission device for transmitting the extracted transmission source information and the screen information to be transmitted to the transmission destination,
when the screen information is transmitted by the transmission device, the extracted transmission source information is synthesized with the screen information and transmitted to the destination.
The facsimile apparatus is characterized in that:
the fax device body and 1 or more additional loop units are respectively provided with a loop control device, a modem and a communication control device.
The facsimile apparatus is characterized in that:
the apparatus is further provided with a means for performing simulcast communication to a plurality of destinations using a part or all of the plurality of lines, and transmits the same line information and screen information to be transmitted to the plurality of destinations performing the simulcast communication.
The facsimile apparatus according to the first aspect is a facsimile apparatus capable of connecting a plurality of return lines, comprising: a device for storing and determining a plurality of loop information of each loop; a device for extracting the determined loop information from the stored loop information when transmitting the picture information; and a device for transmitting the extracted line information to the destination together with the screen information to be transmitted.
A facsimile apparatus according to a second aspect is the facsimile apparatus according to the first aspect, which is configured by a facsimile apparatus main body and one or more loop adding units, and has a loop control device, a modem, and a communication control device, respectively.
In the first or second aspect, when the facsimile apparatus performs communication using a plurality of lines connectable to the facsimile apparatus itself or using a plurality of lines connectable to the facsimile apparatus itself and the line extension unit, a telephone number with a higher priority order set as a standard of the apparatus, a telephone number selected by an operator, or a telephone number of a line for reception is extracted from line information such as a telephone number stored as specific line information, and the telephone number is transmitted to a transmission destination together with screen information to be transmitted.
Therefore, even when the receiver performs communication by referring to the line information regardless of which line among the plurality of lines the line to which the facsimile data is transmitted to the transmission destination is, it is possible to realize transmission of the facsimile data from the transmission destination on a desired line of the transmission source such as a line for the transmission destination, a line for the reception, and the like.
A facsimile apparatus according to a third aspect is the facsimile apparatus according to the first or second aspect, wherein a device for performing simulcast communication to a plurality of transmission destinations using a part or all of the plurality of lines is added, and the same line information is transmitted together with screen information to be transmitted to each of the plurality of transmission destinations performing the simulcast communication.
In a facsimile apparatus of the present invention, when simulcast communication is performed using a plurality of lines to which the facsimile apparatus itself can be connected or using a plurality of lines to which the facsimile apparatus itself and a line extension unit can be connected, the same telephone number transmitted to a plurality of destinations and screen information to be transmitted are transmitted together to the transmission destination regardless of which line is used.
Therefore, the same content screen information can be unified by the same telephone number on the receiving side that performs the simulcast communication.
The invention has the following positive effects:
in the facsimile apparatuses according to the first and second aspects, when the receiving side refers to the line information to perform facsimile communication on any of the lines that transmit facsimile data to the destination, the receiving side can manage to receive the facsimile data from the destination on a desired line of the transmission source such as a destination line and a receiving line.
In the facsimile apparatus according to the third aspect, the information of the same content can be unified by the same telephone number on the reception side of the simulcast communication.

Next, a communication program (recommended t.30) of the facsimile apparatus according to the present invention will be described with reference to the flowchart of fig. 4.
First, the abbreviation symbols in the drawings will be explained.
The CFR prepares the acknowledge signal for reception, and the receiver ends the phase matching indicating that it is in a state where at least one page of data can be received.
The CED is a called station identification signal indicating that the called station is a non-audio terminal. DIS is a digital identification signal indicating that the called device has standard CCITT functionality. DCS is a digital command signal and is a digital setting command set for a standard function identified by the DIS signal.
The EOP is a program end signal indicating that all pages of the facsimile message are finished and that no other document is to be transmitted, and enters stage E (call disconnection) when an acknowledgement is received.
DCN is a cut off command signal indicating the start of phase E (call cut off), which does not need to be answered.
First, in the facsimile apparatus main body F, an operator sets a document to be transmitted on a transmission station (not shown), and inputs a destination address to be transmitted by pressing, for example, a shortcut number, then a start key (not shown), or a touch key, in response to an instruction from the operation unit 18.
The facsimile apparatus main body F searches for an idle line among the lines L1 to L3. As a result, when the 2 nd line L2 is idle, the signal for ensuring the line L2 is output to the line unit G1 (option 1) together with the baud number as information of the specific line unit G1, and when the signal for ensuring the line L2 is received from the line unit G1, the dial data of the designated destination is transmitted to the line unit G1 with reference to the table of the 1 st RAM 13.
The loop unit G1 calls an external facsimile apparatus based on the dial data from the facsimile apparatus body F, and the facsimile apparatus at the calling end is set to a blocking state indicating that the loop is in use in response to the connection from the loop unit G1, and a CED signal indicating a non-audio terminal and a DIS signal indicating that the apparatus has a standard CCITT function are transmitted to the loop unit G1.
The line unit G1 transmits data of the DIS signal transmitted from the external facsimile apparatus to the facsimile apparatus main body F.
The facsimile apparatus body F generates a digital setting command and DCS data for the standard function identified by the DIS signal, and outputs the digital setting command and DCS data to the line unit G1 together with a stream (tracing) signal.
The return line unit G1 transmits DCS data together with a diversion signal to an external facsimile apparatus.
The external facsimile apparatus transmits the CFR signal to the loop unit G1, and the loop unit G1 transmits the CFR signal received from the external facsimile apparatus to the facsimile apparatus main body F.
The facsimile apparatus main body F expands an image of transmission source information (TTI) such as calendar information and page number using a font signal of the character generator 10 together with a name and a telephone number stored in a storage table of the 1 st RAM13 in accordance with a line number of the line L2, and outputs image data of the transmission source information and document data to the line unit G1 every time a document on a document table is read one page. The return line unit G1 synthesizes image data of the transmission source information and image data corresponding to one page of document, encodes the data in the MMR scheme, and transmits the data to an external facsimile apparatus.
Before the facsimile apparatus body F finishes reading all pages of documents, document data of each page and information of a transmission source developed as an image are output to the loop unit G1, and the loop unit G1 synthesizes these data, encodes the data in the MMR scheme, and transmits the data to an external facsimile apparatus.
When reading of all documents is completed, the facsimile apparatus main body F outputs the EOP signal and the DCN signal to the line unit G1, the line unit G1 transmits the EOP signal and the DCN signal to the external facsimile apparatus, and cuts off the line, and the external facsimile apparatus which has received these signals also cuts off the line.
In the case of simulcast communication, the same processing as described above is performed for each of the secured idle loops. Only, the same telephone number is transmitted as transmission source information to a plurality of destinations. The telephone number may be unified into any one of a telephone number set as a device standard, a telephone number selected by an operator, a telephone number of a receiving return line, and the like.
In the present embodiment, the facsimile apparatus body F is provided with the loop units G1 and G2, and can realize connection to a plurality of loops, and the facsimile apparatus body F controls the communication program (t.30), stores source information in the RAM of the facsimile apparatus body F, and selects a loop to be used from among idle loops by the facsimile apparatus body F, and performs the explanation of an example in which the telephone number of a loop used in a case other than simulcast communication is transmitted to a destination as source information, but the following embodiment may be adopted:
