In the present specification, the term "lower limb" refers to a part of a human leg below the knee. The lower limb is divided into a portion below the knee and above the ankle, i.e., "calf", and a portion below the ankle, i.e., "foot", for explanation.
As shown in fig. 1 to 6, the lower limb massage device 1 includes: a leg pedestal massage mechanism 4 as a 1 st massage mechanism; a foot pedestal massage mechanism 5 as a 2 nd massage mechanism; and a drive mechanism 10 for driving the two massage mechanisms 4 and 5.
The drive mechanism 10 and the two massaging mechanisms 4, 5 are accommodated in a housing 13. The housing 13 includes: a support body 14 which is opened at the upper part and supports the driving mechanism 10 and the two massage mechanisms 4 and 5, and a cover body 15 which covers the support body 14 from above the support body 14.
The opposite surfaces of the left and right sides of the cover 15 are open, and the opening 16 of the cover 15 and the opening 17 of the support 14 are covered with a cover 18 made of highly stretchable cloth, leather, sponge, or the like, thereby forming the insertion recesses 6 and 8 in the leg base 2 and the foot base 3.
As shown in fig. 2 to 4, the support body 14 is formed into a substantially "く" shape when viewed from the side, the leg base massaging mechanism 4 is provided at the rear of the support body 14, and the foot base massaging mechanism 5 is provided at the front of the support body 14.
A bracket 11 is rotatably pivotally supported at an upper end portion of the lateral side portion of the cover 15, and the leg massage device 1 can be supported on a mounting surface such as a floor surface by the bracket 11.
The leg pedestal massage mechanism 4 includes: a pair of left and right calf massage members 7; a rotary shaft 20 rotated by the driving mechanism 10; a rotary body 21 fixed to the rotary shaft 20 and fitted with the calf massage member 7 so as to be relatively rotatable; and a regulating mechanism 22 for regulating the rotation of the calf massage member 7 with the rotary body 21.
The rotary shaft 20 is rotatably supported by support frames 23 provided on both sides of the support body 14 in the left-right direction. The rotating body 21 is provided at a middle portion of the rotating shaft 20 so as not to be relatively rotatable.
As shown in fig. 6, a substantially circular rail 25 having an axial center a inclined with respect to the rotation shaft 20 is formed on the peripheral surface (sliding surface) of the rotating body 21, and a boss 26 of the calf massage member 7 is fitted to the rotating body 21 so as to be relatively rotatable so as to be slidable on the rail 25.
Specifically, the inner ring of the bearing 27 is fitted into the outer peripheral surfaces of the pair of left and right rotating bodies 21 along the track 25, and a fixing member 28 for fixing the bearing 27 while preventing the bearing 27 from coming off is provided on the outer side in the left-right direction of the rotating bodies 21.
The outer ring of the bearing 27 is fitted into the inner peripheral side of the annular boss 26, and the calf massage member 7 is slid on the rail 25 via the bearing 27.
The rotating bodies 21 are fixed to the rotating shaft 20 in a state where the inclination directions of the rails 25 of the left and right rotating bodies 21 are opposite to each other. Further, an annular pressing member 29 for preventing the bearing 27 from coming off and fixing it is attached to the outer side surface of the boss portion 26 of the calf massage member 7 in the left-right direction.
An engaging member mounting portion 31 for mounting an engaging member 30 is formed integrally with the boss portion 26 substantially at the lower portion of the pressing member 29, and the rod-shaped engaging member 30 is fixed so as to project downward from the boss portion 26.
A regulating member 32 with which the engaging member 30 is engaged is provided on the support 14 substantially below the engaging member 30. A slide groove 33 into which the engaging member 30 is slidably fitted is provided at a substantially center of the regulating member 32 in a plan view. The slide groove 33 extends in the left-right direction, guides the calf massage member 7 in the left-right direction, and engages with the engaging member 30 to restrict the rotation of the calf massage member 7 together with the rotary body 21.
Therefore, the restricting mechanism 22 includes: an engaging member 30 and a regulating member 32 having a slide groove 33.
The calf massaging member 7 is formed of a long plate material extending in the front-rear direction, and has a curved shape with a lower edge extending in the front-rear direction and a front-rear edge and an upper edge formed in a circular arc shape in a side view. The calf massaging member 7 is made of an elastic body such as plastic or a plate spring, and is elastically deformable in the right-left direction, i.e., in a direction away from the calf.
An affected part pressing body 35 having a plurality of affected part pressing parts 34a, 34b is provided on the facing surface of the calf massaging member 7. The affected part pressing body 35 is formed of an elastic material such as rubber, and has a plurality of small circular pressing projections 34a projecting along the upper edge of the calf massage member 7, and a large pressing projection 34b projecting in the front-rear direction below the pressing projection 34 a.
As shown in fig. 6, each of the pressing projections 34a and 34b is hollow, and the hollow is filled with a cushion material 36 made of sponge or the like to ensure appropriate elasticity.
A pair of left and right placement bases 38 for supporting the lower side of the calf are provided substantially in the middle in the left-right direction of the pair of left and right calf massage members 7. The placement table 38 is formed of a long plate material extending in the front-rear direction, and the front-rear end portions of the placement table 38 are fixed to mounting tables 39 and are mounted on the support body 14 via the mounting tables 39.
The foot pedestal massage mechanism 5 includes: massage parts 9 for both sides of the foot; a rotary shaft 20 rotated by the driving mechanism 10; a rotary body 21 fixed to the rotary shaft 20 and fitted with the massage members 9 for both sides of the feet in a freely rotatable manner; and a regulating mechanism 22 for regulating the rotation of the massaging members for both sides of the feet 9 with the rotating body 21.
The massaging members 9 for both sides of the feet, the rotary shaft 20, the rotary body 21, and the regulating mechanism 22 of the foot base massaging mechanism 5 are configured in the same manner as the leg base massaging mechanism 4, and therefore the same reference numerals are given thereto and the description thereof is omitted.
A drive mechanism 10 for driving the two massage mechanisms 4 and 5 is provided substantially in the middle between the front-back direction and the left-right direction of the two massage mechanisms 4 and 5.
The drive mechanism 10 includes a single drive motor 40 rotatable in forward and reverse directions, and a pair of front and rear power transmission mechanisms 42 connected to front and rear end portions of a drive shaft 41 of the drive motor 40, and the drive motor 40 is constituted by an electric motor, for example.
The power transmission mechanisms 42 are connected to the rotary shafts 20 of the two massage mechanisms 4 and 5, respectively, and the two power transmission mechanisms 42 are attached to the center portion in the left-right direction of the support body 14 (the center position in the left-right direction with respect to both the leg base 2 and the foot base 3).
Similarly to the power transmission mechanism 42, the drive motor 40 is attached to the center portion of the support body 14 in the left-right direction via a motor mount 43. The drive shaft 41 of the drive motor 40 extends in the front-rear direction (toward the rotary shaft 20 of the two massage mechanisms 4 and 5) about the drive motor 40, and is connected to the power transmission mechanism 42. The power transmission mechanism 42 incorporates a worm 44 and a worm wheel 45, respectively, and can transmit the rotation of the drive motor 40 to the rotary shaft 20.
That is, the worm 44 is provided on each of the front and rear end portions of the drive shaft 41 of the drive motor 40, the worm 44 provided on the front end portion of the drive shaft 41 meshes with the worm wheel 45 fixed to the rotation shaft 20 on the side of the foot base massaging mechanism 5, and the worm 44 provided on the rear end portion of the drive shaft 41 meshes with the worm wheel 45 fixed to the rotation shaft 20 on the side of the leg base massaging mechanism 4.
Therefore, the rotation shafts 20 of the two massage mechanisms 4 and 5 can be simultaneously rotated in accordance with the rotation of the drive motor 40.
A clutch capable of cutting off power may be provided on each of the front and rear sides of the drive shaft 41 of the drive motor 40, and the two massage mechanisms 4 and 5 may be driven simultaneously or individually by one drive motor 40, i.e., one drive mechanism 10, by operating the clutch.
A sole massaging mechanism 47 for massaging the sole driven by the driving mechanism 10 is provided at a position overlapping the foot pedestal massaging mechanism 5 in the front-rear direction.
The sole massaging mechanism 47 has: a sole massaging member 48 provided between the pair of left and right foot side massaging members 9; a rotary shaft 20 rotated by the driving mechanism 10; a sole rotator 49 fixed to the rotary shaft 20 and fitted with the sole massaging member 48 in a relatively rotatable manner; a support member 51 for supporting the sole massaging members 48.
The massaging members 9 for both sides of the foot are made of an elastic body made of plastic, a plate spring, or the like, and are elastically deformable in the left-right direction away from the foot.
The sole rotating body 49 is formed in a substantially disk shape, is provided on the rotary shaft 20 between the pair of right and left foot side massaging elements 9, and is eccentric with respect to the rotary shaft 20 so as not to be relatively rotatable.
That is, the sole rotator 49 is fixed to the rotary shaft 20 in a state where the center portion of the sole rotator 49 and the center portion of the rotary shaft 20 are vertically eccentric, and is rotatable integrally with the rotary shaft 20.
The sole massaging members 48 are formed of long plates extending in the front-rear direction on which the sole can be placed, and affected part pressing bodies 50a formed of small rollers are provided in the front and rear portions of the upper surface of the sole massaging members 48, and affected part pressing bodies 50b formed of large rollers are provided in the front-rear direction intermediate portion of the upper surface of the sole massaging members 48. Further, between the small roller and the large roller on the rear side, a plurality of affected part pressing bodies 50c composed of small protrusions are provided. These affected part pressing bodies 50a, 50b, 50c generate a finger pressure action on the sole, wherein the affected part pressing bodies 50a, 50b composed of large and small rollers can rotate.
A support member 51 made of a coil spring capable of elastic deformation is provided between the rear end portion of the sole massage member 48 and the support member 14, and the rear end portion of the sole massage member 48 is movable in the front-rear vertical direction.
A boss 52 is provided on the front side of the sole massaging member 48, and the boss 52 is fitted to the sole rotating body 49 so as to be rotatable relative thereto.
With the above configuration, when the driving mechanism 10, that is, the driving motor 40 is driven to rotate, the rotary shafts 20 of the two massage mechanisms 4 and 5 are simultaneously driven to rotate, and the rotary bodies 21 of the two massage mechanisms 4 and 5 rotate together with the rotary shafts 20.
At this time, the boss 26 of the calf massage member 7 of the leg base massage mechanism 4 of the leg base 2 moves along the inclined rail 25, and when viewed from a plan view (fig. 2), for example, the right boss 26 swings in 3 states of rising with the rotation of the rotary body 21 in a state of being inclined with respect to the left shoulder of the rotary shaft 20, rising substantially vertically, and rising with the right shoulder being inclined. The left rotary body 21 of the leg base massage mechanism 4 also performs the same tilt swing in a symmetrical state.
Therefore, the calf massage member 7 projecting from the boss 26 also performs the same operation, and performs the seesaw-type rocking motion in which the other ends are separated when the one ends are close to each other and the other ends are close to each other when the one ends are separated from each other in the front-rear direction.
As described above, the boss 26 swings with respect to the rotary shaft 20 as viewed from the front (fig. 6), and the outer peripheral surface thereof moves in the axial direction. However, since the calf massage member 7 is restricted by the slide groove 33 and swings in the left-right direction (does not rotate together with the rotary body 21), it swings (reciprocates in the left-right direction) away from and toward each other for a while in the axial direction (left-right direction) of the rotary shaft 20.
The combination of the above two operations causes the calf massage member 7 to move in the lateral direction while moving closer to and away from each other, and to move up and down (to perform a rolling operation).
The massage member for the foot side surface of the foot base 3 also performs the same rolling motion as the massage member for the calf 7.
The sole rotating body 49 rotates with the rotation of the rotating shaft 20 on the side of the foot base 3, and the sole massaging member 48 reciprocates vertically about the support member 51 as a fulcrum while moving in the front-rear direction with the rotation of the sole rotating body 49.
As is clear from the above description, the leg base 2 and the foot base 3 of the leg massage apparatus 1 are simultaneously driven by the single drive mechanism 10, and thereby both sides of the calf and the foot can be simultaneously massaged. Further, since the sole massaging means 47 is also driven at the same time, the sole can be massaged at the same time.
Further, since the sole massaging members 48 swing back and forth while swinging up and down, complicated massages such as an upper-and-lower-kneading can be performed on the sole of the foot.
Further, since the drive mechanism 10 is provided in the middle in the left-right direction, a space in the middle portion in the left-right direction of the pair of left and right insertion recesses 6, 8, that is, a space in the middle in the left-right direction (under the crotch when viewed by the user) through which the calves or feet of the leg base 2 and the foot base 3 do not pass can be effectively used, and the entire apparatus can be made compact.
Furthermore, since the two massage mechanisms 4 and 5 are driven by the single driving mechanism 10, the number of parts can be reduced and thus the entire apparatus can be made more compact, resulting in a reduction in manufacturing cost.
Fig. 8 shows a specific example of the chair-type massage apparatus including the lower limb massage apparatus 1.
The massage device of fig. 8 is a general chair-type massage device in which a seat is provided at a high position from the ground, and includes a seat 60 for supporting the buttocks of a human body from below, legs 61 for supporting the seat 60, and a backrest 62 connected to the rear end of the seat.
A back massage mechanism 63 which is vertically movable and can perform a massage of a kneading type or an impact type is installed in the backrest 62, and a reclining mechanism (not shown) for changing the reclining angle of the backrest 62 is installed in the seat 60.
The leg base 2 and the foot base 3 are connected together in front of the seat 60.
The user can massage the back and the neck by the back massage mechanism 63 in the backrest 62 while sitting on the seat 60, and can massage the calves and the feet by the leg base 2 and the foot base 3 of the leg massage apparatus 1 provided on the front portion of the seat 60.
The lower limb massage device 1 may be detachably connected to the seat 28.
Fig. 9 to 12 show a lower limb massage device 1 according to the present invention manufactured in consideration of the design in accordance with the needs of consumers.
The bracket 11 is attached to the front of the bottom surface of the housing 13 and has a quadrangular ring shape when viewed from the front. As shown by the two-dot chain lines in fig. 9 and 10, the holder 11 is pulled out downward and is spread, and then is placed on the floor surface F, whereby the housing 13 itself is tilted rearward, and the insertion recess 6 into which the calf can be inserted is slightly tilted rearward. The insertion recess 8 capable of holding the foot is slightly higher in front, and the user can easily receive a massage with the lower limbs extended.
Handles 63 for facilitating handling of the lower limb massage device 1 by gripping with both hands are formed on both sides of the housing 13.
As shown in fig. 11, a massage roller 60 is provided in place of the placement base 38 at a substantially middle portion in the left-right direction of the pair of calf massage members 7. The massage roller 60 is eccentrically provided on the rotary shaft 20 that drives the calf massage member 7, and the massage roller 60 advances and retreats in the front-rear direction in accordance with the rotation of the rotary shaft 20 to press the calf in the front-rear direction.
The sole massaging members 48 are fixed to the support body 14.
As shown in fig. 11 and 12, elastic members 61 having a shape conforming to the shape of the calf or the foot are provided on the opposite surface sides of the calf massaging member 7 and the foot both-side portion massaging member 9. Thus, affected parts such as the calf and the foot can be massaged while being wrapped by the massage members 7, 7 or 9, 9.
These massage members 7, 9 are driven by a drive motor 40, and the drive motor 40 is located inside the housing 13, and the driving state thereof is controlled by a control mechanism 62 provided at the lower portion of the housing 13. The control means 62 generates a pulse signal, and the drive motor 40 is driven in accordance with the pulse signal to change the rotation speed or the like. Since the control mechanism 40 does not perform phase control or the like, the number of electronic components constituting the control mechanism 40 can be reduced, and the occurrence of noise or the like can be reduced as much as possible.
The lower limb massage device according to the present invention is not limited to the above embodiment. In the above embodiment, the two massage mechanisms 4 and 5 are driven by one driving mechanism 10, but it is also possible to provide two driving mechanisms 10 and drive the two massage mechanisms 4 and 5 individually.
For example, two drive motors 40 may be provided in the middle of the leg base 2 and the foot base 3 in the left-right direction, and the drive shafts 41 of the drive motors 40 may be connected so as to be capable of transmitting power to the massage mechanisms 4 and 5 individually.
