Description
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a front end stop for a fastener stringer including coupling elements each formed of a resin monomer.
Background
Conventionally, for example, according to japanese utility model application publication No.63-13689, there is proposed a fastener stringer 35 'in which a coating layer 11' composed of an elastic body such as rubber is provided on front and rear surfaces of each of a fastener tape 2 'and coupling elements 12', fin-shaped members composed of the same material as the coating layer 11 'are provided between the respective coupling elements 12' at edge positions of the fastener tape 2 ', and the fastener stringer 35' is integrally connected to each other by locking pieces 31 'at end portions of coupling element rows of the left and right fastener stringers 35'. In the fastener stringer 35 ', the coupling element 12' and the lock block 31 'are connected to each other by the seal 33', and the tip of the seal 33 'is integrally connected to the lock block 31'. The window hole 10 'in which the split diamond-shaped corner portion 24' of the slider 20 'can be fitted is provided between the seal bodies 33', each seal body 33 'and the first coupling element 12' are disposed adjacent to each other, and then, one of the seal bodies 33 'is provided with a cutout portion 34' in which the coupling head 13 'of the mating coupling element 12' can be fitted. In addition, the bent portion of the fastener stringer 35 'is provided with the slit groove 32', so that the slide fastener can have waterproof performance as shown in fig. 9.
Since the slide fastener shown in fig. 9 includes the elastomer coating 11 ' provided on the surface of the fastener tape 2 ', the fastener tape 2 ' itself has rigidity, so that it is difficult to operate such a fastener tape. In addition, since the front end of the sealing body 33 'is integrally connected to the locking block 31', there is an inconvenience in that the front end of the fastener chain cannot be opened. In addition, the portion where the locking piece 31 ' and the sealing body 33 ' are connected and the portion where the sealing body 33 ' and the first coupling element 12 ' are connected need to be provided with the notch groove 32 ', respectively, for ensuring plasticity. Thus, the process for forming the notch groove 32' is very troublesome, which is a problem to be solved.
Disclosure of Invention
The present invention has been achieved by solving the above problems. A primary object of the present invention is to provide a front end stop for a slide fastener, which allows the front end of a fastener chain to be opened to prevent wrinkles from being formed on a fastener tape by the split diamond-shaped corners of a slider, and allows coupling elements and the front end stop to be easily overlapped with each other so that left and right fastener stringer chains are neatly arranged, thereby facilitating handling of the fastener tape, and a single front end stop is processed by an injection molding method.
In addition to the above objects, another object of the present invention is to provide a front end stop for a slide fastener, in which a portion where the front end stop and coupling elements in a fastener chain overlap each other is provided on a fastener tape, and the overlapped portion is formed to be thinner than other portions, thereby achieving an aesthetic and precise overlap.
Further, it is still another object of the present invention to provide a front end stop for a slide fastener which achieves precise overlapping, wherein a portion of the front end stop, in which the front end stop and the coupling element overlap each other, is formed on front and rear surfaces of the front end stop, or on the same plane as a face of an engagement projection formed at a neck portion of the coupling element, or on the same plane as a coupling face provided on the coupling element.
It is still another object of the present invention to provide a front end stop for a slide fastener in which, in order to stop a slider having an automatic stop mechanism on a fastener stringer, a locking portion is formed adjacent to an overlapping portion provided in the fastener stringer, thereby achieving accurate stop of the slider.
In addition, another object of the present invention is to provide a front end stop for a slide fastener, in which a cut-out portion is formed on an edge portion of a fastener tape so as to prevent occurrence of wrinkles generated by splitting diamond-shaped corners of a slider, and the front end stop is molded on the cut-out portion, thereby ensuring excellent appearance of the fastener tape.
Finally, another object of the present invention is to provide a front end stop for a slide fastener, in which the front end stop is formed to surround a split diamond corner of a slider so as to be hermetically sealed with respect to a fastener tape located at a front end with respect to the front end stop in a fastener stringer, thereby ensuring that the slide fastener has an excellent appearance and a certain degree of waterproof performance and airtight performance.
In order to achieve the above object, according to a main aspect of the present invention, there is provided a front end stop for a slide fastener, wherein a pair of front end stops made of a thermoplastic resin are each molded as a single rectangular piece at an end of a row of coupling elements provided along an edge portion of each of a pair of fastener tapes so that the front end stops are adjacent to the coupling elements, each of the front end stops has a recessed portion disengaged from a split diamond corner of a slider, a gap is formed between the front end stop and the coupling elements provided at an end of the row of coupling elements, and an overlapping portion capable of overlapping with a mating coupling element is formed in an end of one of the front end stops adjacent to the row of coupling elements.
With the effect of the present invention, each front end stop formed on the fastener stringer is molded as a single rectangular piece with a gap from the end of the coupling element row provided along the edge portion of each of the pair of fastener tapes, so that the fastener stringer is very easy to handle and the plasticity of the fastener stringer is not lost. In addition, since the front end stop is formed with the concave portion disengaged from the split diamond corner of the slider, no wrinkle is formed on the fastener tape so as to maintain excellent appearance. In addition, since the overlapping portion overlapping the coupling element is provided in a portion where the end of one front end stop extends to the coupling element side and the coupling head of the coupling element protrudes to overlap the overlapping portion, the overlapping can be performed efficiently without collision with the coupling head.
Preferably, an overlapping portion provided on the front end stop is provided on one fastener tape and overlaps with the coupling head of the coupling element, the overlapping portion being thinner than the other portion of the front end stop.
Therefore, the gap between the front end stop provided with the overlapping portion and the coupling element at the end portion can be made small. In addition, since the overlapping portion is thinner than the other portion of the front-end code, the overlapping can be surely achieved.
Further, it is preferable that overlapping portions provided in the front end stop are formed on the front and rear surfaces of the fastener tape so that the overlapping portions can overlap with the front and rear surfaces of the coupling elements.
Therefore, the overlapping portions are formed on both faces of the front end stop, thereby providing a front end stop for a slide fastener including the overlapping portions with good balance and appearance.
Alternatively, the overlapping portion in the front end code is formed on the same plane as the face of the engaging projection formed on the neck portion of the single coupling element, so that the overlapping portion can overlap with the front and rear faces of the coupling element.
Therefore, the overlapping operation can be smoothly performed, and the front end stop for the slide fastener can be realized which includes the overlapping portion adapted to the coupling elements having the same configuration on the front and rear faces and includes the fitting groove fitted to the engaging projection at the front end of the coupling head.
Alternatively, the overlapping portion in the front end code is formed on the same plane as the coupling surface formed on the coupling pocket of the single coupling element, so that the overlapping portion can overlap with either side of the front and rear faces of the coupling element.
Therefore, the overlapping operation can be smoothly performed. In addition, if the front and rear surfaces of the coupling element are different, a front end stop for a slide fastener can be obtained which includes an overlapping portion adapted to the coupling element, wherein the shape of the front half portion of one face is a circle and the shape of the front half portion of the other face is an elongated triangle.
Preferably, a recess that allows the locking pawl of the automatic stop mechanism of the slider to be operated to enter thereinto and to be restricted is provided on a portion adjacent to the overlapping portion formed in the front end code, the recess being provided in the front end code.
Therefore, the slide fastener provided with the automatic stop mechanism incorporates the overlapping portion, so that the stop function can be ensured to function.
Further, it is preferable that the front end stop provided on the fastener tape is molded with resin so as to cover a cut-out portion formed by cutting out an edge portion of the fastener tape. Therefore, no wrinkle or tension is formed by the slider attached to the fastener stringer.
More preferably, a front end stop provided on the fastener tape is provided with a notched portion, and a recess is formed around a split diamond corner of the slider.
Therefore, the edge portion at the end of the fastener chain is sealed by the front end stop, thereby forming a pull fastener having an excellent appearance.
As described above, the effect achieved by the present invention is very significant.

Detailed Description
In the front end stop for a slide fastener of the present invention, coupling elements 12 each composed of a single body are molded on an edge portion 4 of one side edge of each fastener tape 2 using a thermoplastic resin by forming coatings 11 by coating synthetic rubber or a thermoplastic elastomer on front and rear surfaces of the fastener tape 2 so as to form fastener stringers. The coupling element 12 portion mounted on the fastener chain is removed to provide a space portion on each fastener tape. The slit portion 5 is formed by cutting off a portion corresponding to the front end stop 1 of the edge portion 4 of the fastener tape 2 in the space portion, and then the front end stop 1 is formed on the slit portion 5 by thermoplastic resin by injection molding.
As shown in fig. 2, each front end stop 1 is formed along the cutout portion 5 provided in the space portion of the fastener tape 2 by the same type of thermoplastic resin as the coupling elements 12 by injection molding, so that the front end stop 1 is disposed adjacent to the coupling elements 12. Each front end stop 1 is formed in the shape of a rectangular piece, an accommodating portion 10 capable of accommodating a split diamond corner 24 of the slider 20 is provided in the middle of the front end stop 1 by bending the front end portion of the front end stop 1 into a hook shape, and left and right front end portions of the front end stop 1 are formed to surround the split diamond corner 24 of the slider 20. An end portion of a front end code 1 extends to one side of the coupling element 12, and an overlapping portion 3 is formed on a surface of the extending portion so as to overlap a coupling surface 17 of the coupling head 13 of the mating coupling element 12, i.e., the coupling surface 17 which is engaged with an engaging projection 16 formed on the neck portion 14.
The overlapping portion 3 is provided on one side of the side edge of the inclined portion 9 formed at the end of the front end code 1. The overlapping portion 3 has a flat overlapping face formed on substantially the same plane as the surface of the engaging protrusion 16 protruding in the front and rear directions of the fastener stringer, and has the same thickness as that of the fastener tape 2, the engaging protrusion 16 is formed on the neck portion 14 of the coupling element 12, and the coupling element 12 is mounted on the edge portion 4 of the mating fastener tape 2. The overlapping portion 3 functions as the same as the engaging projection 16 provided on the neck portion 14 of the single coupling element 12. The recess 7 is formed inside the overlapping portion 3, that is, on the front end side of the front end stop 1, so as to accommodate the front end of the locking pawl 27 of the automatic stop mechanism 26 of the slider 20 to stop the sliding of the slider 20. In addition, fin portions 18 are formed on the outer periphery of each front end stop 1 at appropriate intervals so that they protrude on the fastener tape 2 to firmly fix the front end stop 1 to the fastener tape 2.
(first embodiment)
In the front end stop of a slide fastener according to a first embodiment of the present invention shown in fig. 1 to 5, in which a coating layer 11 is formed by coating synthetic rubber or thermoplastic elastomer on the front and rear surfaces of each fastener tape 2 of a fastener stringer, a description will be given of the front end stop for a slide fastener of the present invention to provide the fastener tape 2 having waterproof property or water-proof property. When the slide fastener is closed, the edge portions 4 of the fastener tapes 2 are brought into close contact with each other. A slit portion 5 having substantially the same size as that of the front end stop 1 is formed in the fastener tape 2 so as to form the front end stop 1 in an edge portion 4 of a side edge of the fastener tape 2, and the front end stop 1 is molded from polyamide, polypropylene acetal, polypropylene, polyethylene terephthalate, or the like by injection molding with the slit portion 5. Each front end stop 1 is formed integrally in a hook shape, and the right or left front end thereof is bent inward to form a receiving portion 10 capable of receiving a split diamond corner 24 of the slider 20 in the middle of the front end stop. The recess 6 at the center of the front end stop 1 is formed in a concave shape recessed toward the inside of the fastener tape along the cut portion 5. When the left and right front end codes 1 are positioned face to face after the slide fastener is closed, the receiving portion 10 capable of receiving the split diamond corner 24 is formed by the recess 6. In addition, the recess 6 is formed so as to be disengaged from the split diamond corner 24, which means that the recess 6 is disengaged from the split diamond corner 24 so that the ends of the fastener tape 2 on the code side of the front end are in a state of being parallel to each other when the fastener is closed. As shown in fig. 2 and 3, a cutout portion 5 is formed in the edge portion 4 of the fastener tape 2 so that it is recessed toward the inside of the fastener tape 2 at the end of a row of coupling elements 12.
Each coupling element 12 forms a coupling head 13, a neck portion 14, a body portion 15 and an engaging protrusion 16, which are symmetrical on the front and rear surfaces of the fastener tape 2, in the edge portion 4 of the fastener tape 2, and these are connected through a through hole (not shown) of the fastener tape 2. For a specific structure, the following components are formed, i.e., a coupling head 13 for coupling; a body portion 15 continuously formed from the coupling head 13 through the neck portion 14 and wider than the neck portion in the longitudinal direction; an engaging convex portion 16 which is wing-shaped and extends in the left-right direction on the neck portion 14 and the main body portion 15; a coupling surface 17 which overlaps the engaging protrusion 16 when the coupling head 13 is coupled with the mating coupling element 12. A coupling surface 17 is formed at a side of the front and rear coupling head 13 facing each other. When the coupling elements 12 are coupled to each other, the coupling head 13 is positioned on the fastener tape 2 on the other side and overlapped on the engaging convex portion 16 on the other side.
An end portion of one front end stop 1 is extended to the coupling element 12 side, an inclined portion 9 is formed in the extended portion, and an overlapping portion 3 having the same thickness as that of an engaging protrusion 16 provided at a front end of the mating coupling element 12 is formed on each of both surfaces of the fastener tape on a portion of the inclined portion 9 thus extended (the inclined portion 9 on the side of the edge portion 4 of the front end stop 1). The overlapping portion 3 formed on one end stop is formed on the coupling element 12 side on the adjoining fastener tape 2, and the coupling face 17 on the other side overlaps with the overlapping portion 3 and the engaging protrusion 16 on the side of the end stop 1 having the overlapping portion 3. As shown in fig. 4, in the overlapping portion 3, the edge portion 4 on the side edge of the slide fastener 2 is protruded toward the side as compared with the attachment portion of the coupling element, so that prescribed waterproof performance and water permeation preventive performance are obtained. Since the front end stop 1 is pulled by the flange 25 of the slider 20 so as to surround the split diamond corner 24, the front end stop 1 also ensures waterproof performance and water permeation resistance as compared with a conventional inclined front end stop.
The overlapping portions 3 are provided such that the surface of each inclined portion 9 is flat on the edge portion 4 of the inclined portion 9, which is formed on the front and rear faces of the front end stop 1, so that the upper and lower coupling faces 17 of the coupling element 12 can be overlappingly engaged therewith. The size of the overlapping portion 3 may be any as long as it allows the coupling face 17 of the coupling element 12 to engage therewith. In addition, the fin portions 18 are provided on the outer periphery of the front end stop 1 at appropriate intervals, and the fin portions 18 are in contact with the upper and lower flanges 25 of the slider 20, thereby allowing the slider 20 to freely slide.
Alternatively, the leg portion, which protrudes from the main body portion 15 of the coupling element 12 and has a thickness equivalent to that of the fin portion 18, may be formed so as to function as the fin portion 18.
The front end stop 1 includes a recessed portion 7 adjacent to the overlapping portion 3 on the front surface, the recessed portion 7 being capable of accommodating a front end of a locking pawl 27 of an automatic stop mechanism 26 provided on the slider 20, the recessed portion 7 being provided on the front side of one front end stop 1. According to the structure of the slider 20, the recesses 7 may be provided on the front and rear surfaces of the front end stop 1. As shown in fig. 5, in the slider 20 having the automatic stop mechanism 26 as one example, a locking pawl 27 having a curved shape is incorporated into a part of the main body 21 in a state of being in contact with a leaf spring 29, and a leading end of the locking pawl 27 always protrudes into a guide groove 30 in the main body 21. The pivot shaft 33 of the pull tab 32 is supported in the middle of the locking pawl 27 to lift the locking pawl 27 when needed. Meanwhile, the spring 29 is coupled to the coupling post 31 of the main body 21, and its top surface is covered by the cap 28 coupled to the main body 21.
The state of use of the front end stop for slide fastener will be described below. The slider 20 is slid to one side of the front end stop 1 to be close to the left and right coupling elements 12, and finally, the front end stop 1 is pulled by the slider to receive the split diamond-shaped corner 24 in the receiving portion 10 of the front end stop 1, thereby completing the closing operation of the slider 20. At this time, the locking pawl 27 of the automatic stop mechanism 26 incorporated in the slider 20 projects into the guide groove 30 provided in the top stop 1, and then enters the recess 7 and stops. For the other coupling elements 12, the coupling surfaces 17 of the coupling head 13 are contacted with the overlapping portions 3 provided on the front end stop 1 from the front and rear to hold the slider 20. As for the holding state of the slider 20, unlike the conventional article in which the front end stop 1 is opened in an inclined shape to form wrinkles, the fastener tape 2 is not formed with wrinkles generated by the slider 2, thereby closing the front end stop 1 neatly. In addition, in order to prevent the front end stop from forming an inclined shape, when the slider 20 is slid in the closing direction, as shown in fig. 3, the coupling elements 12 are completely engaged with each other, so that the mating coupling elements 12 enter the gap between the front end stop 1 forming the overlapping portion 3 and the coupling elements 12. If the gap is widened in order to avoid collision with the front end stop 1, the front end stop may swing. However, since the slider collides with the coupling element 12 if the clearance is reduced, the overlapping portion 3 thinner than the other front end stop 1 is provided to reduce the clearance, thereby preventing any collision with the coupling element. As for the overlapped portion 3 thinner than the other front end stop 1, the front end stop 1 has a portion which is the same thickness as the coupling element 12 and passes through the inside of the slider 20, and the overlapped portion 13 in the attached state enters between the coupling head 13 formed on the front and rear faces of the fastener tape 2 and can be overlapped with the coupling face 17. In addition, as shown in fig. 3, in a state where the overlap portion 3 is connected, the left and right front end codes are parallel to each other.
(second embodiment)
A front end stop for a slide fastener according to a second embodiment of the present invention shown in fig. 6 will be explained. The front end stop 1 in the fastener stringer is formed to have the same structure as the front end stop 1 of the first embodiment. The second embodiment differs from the first embodiment only in that no coating 11 is provided on any of the front and rear surfaces of the fastener tape 2. The fastener tape 2 is formed by weaving or knitting, and a swelling core thread (8) is woven or knitted in the edge portion 4 on the side edge of the fastener tape 2 to enlarge the edge portion. A concave fitting groove 19 having the same thickness as the engaging convex portion 16 of the coupling element 12 can be fitted on the overlapping portion 3 formed on the end of the front end code 1. The front end of the overlapping portion 3 projects sideward compared with the edge portion 4 of the fastener tape 2, so that the upper and lower coupling faces 17 of the fitting groove 19 formed in the coupling element 12 can be brought into contact with and overlapped with the overlapping portion 3. The size of the overlapping portion 3 may be any size as long as it can engage with the coupling surface 17 of the fitting groove 19 in the coupling element 12.
(third embodiment)
A front end stop for a slide fastener according to a third embodiment of the present invention shown in fig. 7 and 8 will be explained. Although the outer shape of the front end stop is substantially the same as that of the front end stop of the foregoing embodiment, the front end stop 1 in the fastener chain of the present embodiment is greatly different from that of the above embodiment, that is, the overlapping portion 3 is provided only on the rear surface side of the fastener chain. As for the shapes of the front and rear sides of the coupling element 12 to which the overlapping portion 3 can be applied, for example, the shape of the front half portion of the coupling element 12 on the front surface is formed into an elongated triangle, and the shape of the front half portion on the rear surface is formed into a round head shape, i.e., a gourd shape, so as to be engaged with the coupling element 12 by the round head-shaped coupling face 17 on the rear surface. Therefore, the overlapping portion 3 is provided on the rear side of the fastener chain, and the round-headed coupling surface 17 of the coupling element 12 overlaps with the overlapping portion 3. Meanwhile, when the slider 20 having the automatic stop mechanism 26 is used, the recess 7 may be provided in the surface of the front end stop 1 to allow the locking pawl 27 to protrude into the gap between the coupling elements 12 or into the recess 7, thereby stopping the slider.
The front end stop for the slide fastener of the present invention is used in an opening of a garment, a bag, or the like, and when a fastener stringer is closed by a slider, the front end stop is completely separated at an end of the fastener stringer. The front end stop has a large potential market because it surrounds the split diamond corners with the flanges of the slider to prevent wrinkles from occurring in the fastener tapes.
