Description

Fastener stringer and method of manufacturing the same
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a fastener tape including a gap formed at a fastener portion where a fastener element is to be mounted, a fastener in which the fastener element is molded in the fastener tape, and a method of manufacturing the fastener tape as a material of the fastener.
Background
There has been known a conventional slide fastener in which a through hole is provided along a side edge of a fastener tape, and fastener elements of thermoplastic resin are attached to the through hole by injection molding. For example, in a slide fastener shown in fig. 10 (japanese utility model application laid-open No.61-35049), by weaving a fastener tape 1 'using polyester fiber yarn or a blended yarn of polyester fiber and natural fiber as warp yarn 2' and weft yarn 3 ', through holes 20' are drilled at predetermined positions of the fastener tape 1 'at equal intervals by ultrasonic processing, the inner peripheral surface of each through hole 20' is formed as a melt-solidified surface 27 ', elements 13' of polyamide resin are formed in the through holes 20 'by injection molding processing, and upper and lower legs 15' of the elements 13 'are connected through the through holes 20'.
In the slide fastener shown in fig. 10, the element 13 'of thermoplastic resin is attached to the fastener tape 1' by injection molding, and the process and working thereof are complicated and take a long time and are troublesome. For example, it is necessary to use synthetic fiber yarn for the fastener tape 1'. Also, a specific unit is required for drilling the through-hole 20 ', so that it takes a long time for melting and solidification, and positioning needs to be accurately performed when the coupling element 13' is injection molded.
Disclosure of Invention
The present invention has been made in view of the above problems. The first aspect of the present invention does not always require the use of synthetic fiber yarn as the yarn used in the fastener tape, but allows the use of cotton yarn. A primary object of a first aspect of the present invention is to provide a fastener stringer in which a void portion, i.e., a substantially warp excluding region, which is formed inside a certain distance from a side edge of a fastener tape by removing warp yarns within a predetermined width while leaving only weft yarns is formed, and fastener elements of thermoplastic resin or metal such as zinc alloy are molded within the warp excluding region.
Specifically, the present invention provides a fastener stringer characterized in that a water-soluble fiber yarn is arranged as a warp yarn inside over a plurality of warp yarns from a side edge of a fastener tape, the fastener tape is woven, the water-soluble fiber yarn is dissolved and removed after weaving to form a warp yarn excluding region, a fastener element is integrally formed with a coupling pocket arranged outside the side edge of the fastener tape and a leg provided to pass through the warp yarn excluding region.
In addition to the object of the first aspect, the second to fifth aspects of the present invention are directed to provide a fastener stringer in which elements of thermoplastic resin or metal such as zinc alloy are securely attached to a fastener tape with good appearance by a molding process.
An object of a sixth aspect of the present invention is to provide a method of manufacturing a fastener stringer, including: a weaving step of weaving water-soluble fiber yarns as warp yarns into positions along the side edges of the fastener tapes; a heat-setting step of heat-treating the woven belt for shape stability; a dyeing step of dyeing the fastener tape while dissolving the water-soluble fiber yarn to form a warp yarn removal area; and a molding step of molding a thermoplastic resin or a metallic element such as a zinc alloy in the warp excluding region.
In order to achieve the above object, according to a first aspect of the present invention, there is provided a fastener stringer in which a warp excluding area where warp is lost is provided inside over a plurality of warps from a side edge of a fastener tape, and a fastener element of thermoplastic resin or metal such as zinc alloy is formed in the warp excluding area.
Therefore, the fastener chain as a material of the slide fastener can be easily manufactured. Also, the coupling elements can be securely attached to the fastener tape, so that a superior fastener chain can be completed.
According to a second aspect of the present invention, there is provided a fastener stringer in which a core thread is arranged between a side edge of a fastener tape and a warp-yarn excluding region where warp yarn is lost.
Therefore, the fastener elements of thermoplastic resin or metal such as zinc alloy can be molded and firmly fixed to the side edge of the fastener tape.
According to a third aspect of the present invention, there is provided a fastener stringer, wherein at least one warp yarn is placed between a core yarn for fixing a fastener element and a warp yarn excluding region where the warp yarn is lost.
Therefore, the core thread disposed on the side edge of the fastener tape can be maintained in a stable state without any displacement of the loop, so that the fastener elements of thermoplastic resin or metal such as zinc alloy can be accurately molded to complete the fastener element chain having high strength.
According to a fourth aspect of the present invention, there is provided a fastener stringer, wherein each of fastener elements formed by molding a thermoplastic resin or a metal such as a zinc alloy is integrally formed with a coupling head disposed outside a side edge of a fastener tape and a leg provided by front and rear surfaces of a warp excluding area.
With the above feature, the coupling head and the coupling legs of the fastener element are integrated and the coupling head is accurately placed on the outside of the fastener tape. Accordingly, the legs are molded in the warp excluding areas where the warp is lost so that they pass through the front and rear surfaces of the fastener tape, and thus the legs can be firmly held.
According to a fifth aspect of the present invention, there is provided a fastener stringer, wherein a leg of each element straddles over a weft yarn left in a warp excluding area on both front and rear surfaces of the warp excluding area, and a leading end portion of the leg is connected to a warp existing inside a fastener tape.
Therefore, the legs of the fastener elements are closely attached to the weft yarns arranged neatly, and the leading ends of the legs are closely attached to the warp yarns facing the exclusion area, thereby preventing the legs from moving. Thus, the fastener chain can be completed.
According to a sixth aspect of the present invention, there is provided a method of manufacturing a fastener stringer, comprising: a weaving step of arranging a plurality of warp yarns made of water-soluble fiber yarns such as water-soluble vinylon as warp yarns at an inner position from a side edge of a fastener tape having a predetermined width, and weaving the warp yarns; a heat-setting step of heat-treating the fastener tape; a dyeing step of dyeing the fastener tape while dissolving water-soluble fiber yarn to form a warp yarn-removed area where the warp yarn is lost; and a molding step of molding a thermoplastic resin or a metallic element such as a zinc alloy in the warp excluding region.
With this feature, by forming the warp excluding areas at portions provided inward from the side edges of the fastener tapes and molding the fastener elements of thermoplastic resin or metal such as zinc alloy in the warp excluding areas, the fastener element chain equipped with the strong and stable fastener elements can be easily manufactured by ordinary manufacturing equipment without using any special manufacturing equipment. Therefore, the effect obtained by the present invention is quite remarkable.

Detailed Description
The fastener stringer according to the present invention and the manufacturing method thereof will be described below. In the fastener stringer shown in fig. 1, polyester fiber or polyamide fiber multifilament is used as warp yarn 2 and weft yarn 3, and fastener tape 1 is made by double pick needle weaving (needle weaving) weft yarn 3. In the fastener tape 1, crossing over a plurality of warp yarns 2 from the side edge 5 inside forms a warp excluding area 12 where no warp exists by excluding the corresponding warp yarn 2, and therefore, a plurality of warp yarns 2 are removed and only weft yarns 3 remain in the warp excluding area. In the warp excluding area 12, the legs 15 of the fastener elements 13 are injection-molded at a constant pitch on the remaining weft yarns 3 by using a thermoplastic resin such as polyamide and polyacetal so as to be closely attached to the front and rear surfaces, thereby manufacturing the fastener chain as shown in fig. 7. Alternatively, the fastener element chain is manufactured by forming the element 13 in the warp excluding region 12 by die casting using a metal such as a zinc alloy and an aluminum alloy. Meanwhile, since a plurality of warp yarns 2 existing between the side edge 5 and the warp excluding region 12 are covered with the fastener elements 13 formed in the warp excluding region 12, they are fixed with sufficient mounting strength.
As for the means of the warp excluding area 12 formed in the fastener tape 1, as shown in fig. 2, a plurality of water-soluble fiber yarns 4, for example, water-soluble vinylon, are arranged inside over a plurality of warp yarns 2 from the side edge 5 of the tape 1 and woven into a fastener tape. Alternatively, it is allowed to weave the fastener tape 1 of the type in which the core thread 6 is arranged as shown in fig. 4 and 6. In the woven fastener tape 1, warp yarns as the water-soluble fiber yarns 4 are dissolved and removed in a dyeing solution in a dyeing step in a manufacturing process to form a warp yarn excluding area 12.
As for the method of manufacturing the fastener stringer, first, the fastener tape 1 shown in fig. 2 is woven by double-throw needle punching by using the warp 2 and the weft 3. At this time, a plurality of water-soluble fiber yarns 4 are arranged as warp yarns 2 inside a plurality of warp yarns 2 placed along the side edge 5 of the fastener tape 1. In this weaving step, the fastener tape 1 of the type using the core thread 6 as shown in fig. 4 and 6 can be woven. Subsequently, in the heat setting step in which the woven fastener tape 1 is heat-treated by dry heat, deviation of the stitches in the fastener tape 1 is prevented to stabilize the shape of the fastener tape. Thereafter, the fastener tape 1 is sent to a dyeing step in which the fastener tape 1 is passed through a dyeing solution to dissolve the water-soluble fiber yarn 4, and thus a warp excluding area 12 where no warp 2 exists is formed in the fastener tape 1.
After the warp excluding area 12 is formed, the fastener tape 1 is sent to a molding step in which the fastener elements 13 are molded at a constant pitch by injection molding using a thermoplastic resin such as polyacetal and polyamide in the warp excluding area 12, thereby manufacturing the fastener stringer as shown in fig. 7. In the molding step, the fastener element 13 may be formed by die casting molding using a metal such as a zinc alloy and an aluminum alloy in the excluded region 12, thereby manufacturing the fastener chain. As shown in fig. 8, for the method of manufacturing the fastener chain of the present invention, the fastener chain is manufactured through a weaving step, a heat-setting step, a dyeing step, and a molding step. The manufactured fastener stringer is cut into a predetermined length, an upper stop and a lower stop or an opening device is mounted on each of the right and left fastener stringers, and then a slider is loaded thereon, thereby completing various slide fasteners.
First embodiment
The fastener stringer of the first embodiment of the present invention shown in fig. 1 is woven by warp yarns 2 and weft yarns 3 formed of multifilament polyester fibers or polyamide fibers. The fastener tape 1 is produced by double-throw needle-punching weaving of the weft yarn 3. In the fastener tape 1, by removing the plurality of warp yarns 2, a warp excluding area 12 where only the weft yarns 3 exist is provided inside the plurality of warp yarns 2 arranged along the side edge 5. The fastener elements 13 having an appropriate shape are injection molded in the warp excluding regions 12 by using a thermoplastic resin such as polyamide and polyacetal. The coupling head 14 of the fastener element 13 protrudes outward from the side edge 5 of the fastener tape 1, and forms the leg 15 or the front end portion 16 of the leg so as to adhere to the weft yarn 3 existing in the warp excluding area 12 and the warp yarn 2 facing the warp excluding area 12 from the front and rear surfaces, thereby producing the fastener stringer shown in fig. 7.
By using warp yarns 2 and weft yarns 3 each having a size of 330 dtex for double picking, fastener tape 1 is woven into a suitable woven structure, such as a herringbone woven structure as shown in fig. 2. In this case, a plurality of water-soluble fiber yarns 4 made of water-soluble vinylon having 1220 dtex are arranged inside a plurality of warp yarns 2 placed along the side edge 5 of the fastener tape 1. Since the water-soluble fiber yarn 4 is dissolved in water at 70 ℃, it is dissolved at the stage where the fastener tape 1 is dyed.
Second embodiment
The fastener chain of the second embodiment of the present invention shown in fig. 3 is woven by warp yarns 2 and weft yarns 3 formed of polyester fiber or polyamide fiber multifilament yarns. The fastener tape 1 is made by double-throw needle-punching weaving of the weft yarn 3, and the core thread 6 having a large diameter is woven into the side edge 5 of the fastener tape 1. For the core 6, several multifilament yarns of polyester fibers or polyamide fibers are used, and a similar multifilament yarn is woven therearound to make the core 6. Portions of the core thread 6 in the vicinity of the fastener tape 1 corresponding to the plurality of warp yarns 2 provide warp excluding areas 12 where only the weft yarns 3 exist. The fastener element 13 of an appropriate shape is injection-molded in the warp excluding area 12 by using a thermoplastic resin such as polyacetal and polyamide.
The coupling head 14 of the fastener element 13 protrudes outward from the side edge 5 of the fastener tape 1, and the leg 15 surrounds the core thread 6 while the leg 15 and the front end portion 16 are fixed to the weft yarn 3 existing in the warp excluding area 12 and the warp yarn 2 facing the warp excluding area 12 from the front and rear surfaces, thereby forming the fastener stringer shown in fig. 7. As shown in fig. 4, a plurality of water-soluble vinylon as water-soluble fiber yarns 4 are arranged adjacent to the core yarn 6 provided along the side edge 5.
Third embodiment
The fastener chain of the third embodiment of the present invention shown in fig. 5 is woven by warp yarns 2 and weft yarns 3 formed of polyester fiber or polyamide fiber multifilament yarns. The fastener tape 1 is made by double-throw needle-punching the weft yarn 3, and the core thread 6 having a small diameter is woven into the side edges 5 on the front and rear surfaces of the fastener tape 1. For the core 6, a multifilament yarn of a single polyester fiber or polyamide fiber is used, and a similar multifilament yarn is woven therearound to make the core 6. In the fastener tape 1, the warp yarns 2 are arranged adjacent to the core yarns 6, and then the warp yarn excluding regions 12 where only the weft yarns 3 exist are provided adjacent to portions of these warp yarns 2 corresponding to a plurality of warp yarns 2. Subsequently, a fastener element 13 of an appropriate shape is injection-molded in the warp excluding area 12 by using a thermoplastic resin such as polyacetal and polyamide. 7. In the fastener tape 1, as shown in fig. 6, a plurality of water-soluble vinylon as the water-soluble fiber yarn 4 are arranged adjacent to the core thread 6 provided on the front and rear surfaces of the side edge 5.
Fourth embodiment
Referring to the manufacturing method of the fastener stringer described in each embodiment, the fastener stringer is manufactured according to the manufacturing step shown in fig. 8. First, in the weaving step, the warp yarn 2 of 330 dtex formed of a multifilament yarn of polyester fiber or polyamide fiber is set to a predetermined width of 13 to 16mm of the predetermined fastener tape 1. At this time, a 1220 dtex water-soluble fiber yarn 4 of, for example, water-soluble vinylon is arranged on the side edge 5 at a plurality of yarn positions inward from the warp yarn 2. Subsequently, a core 6 having a large diameter is arranged on the side edges 5, for example, the core 6 is made of several multifilament yarns of polyester or polyamide fibers as a core and the same type of multifilament yarns is woven around it. Alternatively, a core yarn 6 having a small diameter is vertically arranged on the side edges 5, for example, the core yarn 6 is a multifilament yarn of a single polyester fiber or a polyamide fiber as a core and a similar multifilament yarn is woven around it to be made. Then, the weft yarns 3 of the same type as the warp yarns 2 are inserted into the arranged warp yarns 3, water-soluble fiber yarns 4 or core yarns 6 by double weft insertion weft direction in the needle-punching weaving process, so that the fastener tape 1 as shown in fig. 2, 4 and 6 is woven into a suitable woven structure, for example, a herringbone woven structure.
The woven fastener tape 1 is fed to a subsequent heat-setting step in which the fastener tape 1 is heat-treated by dry heat of about 180 ℃ in order to make the structure of the fastener tape 1 better and to stabilize the shape thereof. Thereafter, the fastener tape 1 is sent to a dyeing step in which the fastener tape 1 is dyed in a dyeing liquid at about 130 ℃. Meanwhile, the water-soluble fiber yarn 4 composed of water-soluble vinylon is dissolved in the dyeing liquid, and therefore, as shown in fig. 9, the water-soluble fiber yarn 4 woven into the fastener tape 1 as shown in fig. 6 is dissolved, and when the fastener tape 1 is dyed, a warp excluding area 12 left by only the weft yarn 3 is formed.
After dyeing, the fastener tape 1 is sent to a molding step to mold the fastener elements 13. In the molding step, the fastener elements 13 having various shapes are formed in the warp excluding area 12 in the fastener tape 1 by an injection molding mechanism using a thermoplastic resin such as polyacetal and polyamide, thereby producing the resin fastener stringer as shown in fig. 7.
In the molding step, the fastener element 13 is molded in the warp-excluded area 12 formed in the fastener tape 1 by using a metal such as a zinc alloy and an aluminum alloy via a die-casting molding mechanism, thereby manufacturing a metallic fastener chain.
Finally, the fastener chain is cut to a predetermined length, and the upper and lower stoppers are mounted on the front and rear ends of the cut-off portion, or a pulling device is mounted to couple the right and left fastener chains. And then a slider is loaded thereon to complete the slide fastener.
In the fastener stringer of the present invention, a thermoplastic resin or the like is injection-molded at the tape side edge to form the fastener element. The elements are mounted so that their legs pass through the belt. The completed zipper has a rigid structure and can be used not only on clothing but also on force-exerting items such as bags and various cases.
