Description
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a top end stop of a linear slide fastener, in which a linear fastener element row formed of synthetic fiber monofilament (mono-filament) is mounted on a side edge of a fastener tape, and the top end stop is formed at a top end portion of the slide fastener by processing the linear fastener elements.
Background
According to japanese utility model laid-open No.46-1148, in a linear slide fastener, a linear fastener element row formed of synthetic fiber monofilaments is sewn on a side edge of a fastener tape or on a curved side edge of a fastener tape bent in a U-letter shape, as shown in fig. 10, a suitable number of linear fastener elements 105 located at a tip end portion of a slide fastener 112 are fused under pressure by an ultrasonic wave processing device or a high-frequency processing device. Therefore, the fastener tape 112, the core thread 116, the sewing thread, and the like are fused together into one body and are expanded widely toward the coupling head 119 for coupling other fastener elements and both sides of the reversed part 120 to form the top end stopper 101 of the linear slide fastener.
Because in the above-described top end stop 101 of the linear slide fastener shown in fig. 10, several linear fastener elements 105 located at the top end portion of the slide fastener are fused by ultrasonic treatment or high-frequency treatment under pressure, so that the fastener tape 112, the core thread 116, the sewing thread, and the like are fused together into one body. Therefore, burrs are likely to be generated on the surface of the top end stop, and the top end stop itself is rigid, making the feeling of the skin poor. For example, when it is used in the overlapping area of clothing such as shirts and jackets, the top end stop comes into contact with the neck, creating an uncomfortable feeling. Furthermore, there is also a fear that such linear fastener elements may be difficult to sew to clothes and the like.
Disclosure of Invention
The present invention has been made in view of the above problems, and a primary object of the present invention is to provide a normal type or concealed type linear slide fastener which is plastic and does not harden and has no burr on its surface to ensure a good tactile sensation, the top end stop being capable of being manufactured at a low cost by a simple manufacturing method.
In addition to the above-mentioned object, another object of the present invention is to provide a linear slide fastener of a normal type or a concealed type in which left and right coupling heads in a top end stop formed by fusing linear fastener elements to fastener tapes are in a non-coupling state, and an end face of an inverted portion is brought into contact with an inner wall face of a flange in a slider so as to stop the slider from sliding.
Another object of the present invention is to provide a linear slide fastener of a normal type or a concealed type in which left and right coupling heads in a top end stop formed by fusing linear fastener elements to fastener tapes are in a non-coupling state, and an inverted portion is brought into contact with a front end of a flange of a slider so as to stop the slider from sliding.
It is still another object of the present invention to provide a top end stop of a linear slide fastener of a normal type, in which a coil-shaped fastener element or zigzag-shaped fastener element, through which the top end stop is easily made, is used as a fastener element in the normal type of slide fastener.
Another object of the present invention is to provide a top end stop of a concealed type linear slide fastener in which a coil-shaped fastener element is used as a fastener element in a concealed type slide fastener, the top end stop being easily made by the fastener element.
It is another object of the present invention to provide a top end stop of a linear slide fastener of a normal type or a concealed type of excellent quality in which a core thread passes through a coil-shaped fastener element or a zigzag-shaped fastener element when the top end stop is manufactured by the linear fastener element, thereby preventing the linear fastener element from coming off a seam line at the time of processing.
Another object of the present invention is to provide a top end stop of a linear slide fastener, which is formed using linear fastener elements for both normal type and concealed type linear slide fasteners and can be easily and reliably fixed to a fastener tape, and which is accurately and stably formed.
It is another object of the present invention to provide a top end stop of a linear slide fastener, which is manufactured using upper and lower leg portions protruding to the side of a sewing thread in a coil-shaped fastener element or zigzag-shaped fastener element, the top end stop being formed to have a high strength.
In order to achieve the above object, the present invention provides, as a main feature thereof, a top end stop of a linear slide fastener, characterized in that: the linear fastener element row is mounted on a side edge of the fastener tape or on a curved side edge that is bent in parallel along the side edge, the linear fastener element row includes a plurality of linear fastener elements, at least one of the linear fastener elements at a tip end portion of the linear fastener element row is moved more inwardly toward the inside of the fastener tape than positions of other linear fastener elements, and the moved linear fastener elements and the fastener tape are fused together and fixed so as to form a tip end stopper, and the linear fastener elements include a coupling head and a flip-up portion that couple the adjacent linear fastener elements to each other, and the flip-up portion of the moved linear fastener element protrudes more inwardly toward the inside of the fastener tape than positions of the flip-up portions of the other linear fastener elements.
In the above structure, at least one linear fastener element at the tip end portion of the linear fastener element row mounted on the side edge of the fastener tape is moved more inwardly toward the inside of the fastener tape without adding any additional material, and the fastener element and the fastener tape are fused together so as to create a tip end stopper. The top end stop thus produced has a plastic surface and good quality without any burrs and can also be produced in a simple manner and at low cost.
Preferably, the linear fastener elements moved, fused together and fixed to the fastener tapes are brought into contact with the slider so as to stop the slider.
It is also preferable that the linear fastener elements fused together and fixed to the fastener tape have a stopper mechanism in which the turned-over portion is brought into contact with an inner wall surface of the flange of the slider when the right-side and left-side coupling heads are opposed to each other in a non-coupled state.
Due to the provision of such a stopper mechanism, the turned portions at the opposite sides of the coupling heads of the left and right fastener elements are further retracted and projected toward the inside of the fastener tape, so that they come into contact with the inner surface of the flange, thereby stopping the slider from sliding. Therefore, with this simple structure, the slider can be stopped with a good appearance.
Preferably, the linear fastener element at a portion where the linear fastener element and the fastener tape are fused and fixed has a stopper mechanism in which the turned portion is brought into contact with the front end portion of the flange when the right-side and left-side coupling heads are opposed to each other in a non-coupled state.
Since the stopper mechanism is provided in which the right and left coupling heads are opposed to each other in the unconnected state while the reversed portion is in contact with the front end portion of the flange, the coupling heads of the right and left fastener elements are opposed to each other in the unconnected state, and the reversed portion on the opposite side to the coupling heads is retracted to the inside of the fastener tape and projected, so that they are in contact with the front end of the flange, thereby stopping the slider from sliding. Therefore, the slider can be stopped easily and reliably with a simple structure.
Preferably, a coil-shaped fastener element is used as the linear fastener element, and the coil-shaped fastener element is attached on a surface of a side edge of the fastener tape.
Therefore, the top end stop can be easily made on a coil-shaped slide fastener of a normal type.
Preferably, zigzag-shaped fastener elements are used as the linear fastener elements, and the zigzag-shaped fastener elements are attached to the surface of the side edge of the fastener tape.
Therefore, the top end stop can be easily formed on a normal type of zigzag slide fastener.
Preferably, a coil-shaped fastener element is used as the linear fastener element, and the coil-shaped fastener element is sewn on a bent side edge of the fastener tape which is bent in a U-letter shape along the side edge.
Therefore, the top end stop can be easily made on the coil-shaped slide fastener of the concealed type.
Preferably, the core thread passes through the linear fastener elements and the fastener elements are sewn to the fastener tape.
According to this example, the fastener elements can be surely prevented from slipping out of the element sewing thread at the time of handling, and therefore, the top end stopper can surely exert its stopper function.
Preferably, the vicinity of the coupling head of the linear fastener element and the fastener tape are fused together and fixed by the contact portion.
According to this example, the coupling head can be firmly fixed to the fastener tape, and the top end stopper can be formed easily and reliably.
Preferably, the upper and lower leg portions at the side of the reversed part of the linear fastener element are fused and fixed to each other.
According to this example, the top end stop of the fastener element can be easily formed with high strength.
Preferably, the linear fastener element includes a coupling head which projects from the side edge or the curved side edge, and the leading end of the coupling head of the moving linear fastener element substantially coincides with the side edge or the curved side edge. The substantial overlapping herein means not only a completely overlapped state but also a state in which the joining head is slightly protruded from the side edge or the bent side edge or slightly retreated, and therefore, the joining head cannot be joined.
Preferably, the plurality of linear fastener elements at the tip end portion of the linear fastener element row are moved toward the inside of the fastener tape.
The top end stop thus produced has a plastic surface and ensures good quality, without any burrs and can also be produced in a simple manner and at low cost. The effect of the invention is obvious.

Detailed Description
With the top end stop of the linear slide fastener of the present invention, monofilaments of synthetic fibers (e.g., polyamide and polyester) are formed in a coil shape or a zigzag shape so as to form a linear fastener element row including a plurality of linear fastener elements 5, and the linear fastener elements 5 are sewn on the surface at the side edge 13 of the fastener tape 12 so as to form an endless fastener chain 9. The gap portion 10 is created by removing the linear fastener elements 5 at a spacing equal to the predetermined length of the slide fastener in the fastener chain 9, and the bottom end stop or opening device is mounted at one end of the gap portion 10, while the top end stop 1 is mounted at the other end of the gap portion 10. Then, the endless fastener chain is cut at the space portion 10 to form a normal type of slide fastener.
Alternatively, linear fastener elements 5 are sewn to curved side edges 14 of fastener tapes 12 bent into the shape of a letter U to form an endless fastener chain 9. By removing the linear fastener elements 5 at predetermined intervals, a void portion 10 is formed in the fastener chain 9, and the bottom end stop and the top end stop 1 are mounted in the void portion 10. Then, the fastener chain is cut at the space portion 10 to form a concealed type slide fastener.
The plurality of linear fastener elements 5 near the space portion 10 are moved from the side edge 13 or the bent edge 14 of the fastener tape 12 to the inside of the fastener tape 12 so that they are retracted with respect to the sewing thread 17. Then, in this retracted state, the vicinity of the coupling head 19 (e.g., the bottom side thereof) in contact with the fastener tape 12 is fused U by ultrasonic treatment1And is fixed to form a top end stop 1. The coupling head 19 at the tip end portion of the coil-like or zigzag-like linear fastener element 5 and the reversed portion 20 (the reversed portion 20 is located on the opposite side of the coupling head 19 or inside the fastener tape 12 and is coupled to the coupling head 19 by the leg portions 21) are moved more inward to the inside of the fastener tape 12 than the positions of the other coupling head 19 and the reversed portion 20. Due to the fact thatHere, the tip end stopper comes into contact with the inner wall surface 29 of the flange 27 in the mounted slider 25 or with the leading end portion 30 of the flange 27, thereby reliably stopping the sliding of the slider 25.
First embodiment
The coil-shaped fastener element 6 is made by winding a synthetic fiber monofilament into a coil form and serving as a linear fastener element 5 of a linear fastener, or the monofilament is bent into a zigzag shape to form a zigzag-shaped fastener element 7.
With the top end stop of the linear slide fastener of the first embodiment of the present invention shown in fig. 1 and 2, the coil-shaped fastener element 6 is used as the linear fastener element 5, and when the coil-shaped fastener element 6 is sewn on the surface of the fastener tape 12 along the side edge 13 by the sewing thread 17, the core thread 16 passes through the inside of the coil-shaped fastener element 6, and the fastener tape is sewn on the core thread 16 by the sewing thread 17, so that its coupling head 19 protrudes from the side edge 13 of the fastener tape 12 to make the endless fastener chain 9.
The space portion 10 is formed at predetermined intervals of the fastener chain 9 or every unit length of the fastener. The coupling head 19 can be pulled out from the core thread 16 and the sewing thread 17 by cutting the upper and lower leg portions 21 at the side portions of the turned-over portion 20 in the coil-like fastener element 6 so as to create the void portion 10. Then, a bottom end stopper is formed at one end of the formed space portion 10 while forming the top end stopper 1 at the other end of the space portion 10, and then, the fastener chain 9 is cut at the space portion 10 so as to produce a normal type of slide fastener.
The coupling head 19 can be formed to substantially coincide with the side edge 13 by causing the coiled fastener element 6 formed in the vicinity of the void portion 10 in the fastener chain 9 to move from the side edge 13 of the fastener tape 12 to the inside of the fastener tape 12 to retract the coupling head 19. Then, in a state where the turned-over portion 20 of the coil-shaped fastener element 6 is retreated from the core thread 16 and the sewing thread 17, the vicinity of the coupling head 19 of the coil-shaped fastener element 6 (for example, the bottom side thereof) which comes into contact with the fastener tape 12 is melted by ultrasonic treatmentClosed U1Then, the coil-shaped fastener element 6 is fixed to the fastener tape 12. Since the turned-over portion 20 of the fixed coil-shaped fastener element 6 projects more inwardly toward the inside of the fastener tape 12 than the turned-over portion 20 of the other coil-shaped fastener element 6, the portion functions as the top end stop 1.
When the slider 25 mounted on the fastener chain 9 is slid toward the top end of the coil-shaped fastener elements 6 to engage the coil-shaped fastener elements 6 with each other, as shown in fig. 1, the top end stop 1 is pushed inside the element passage 28 formed in the slider 25 by the shoulder side of the slider 25. At this time, the joining heads 19 at the top end stop 1 are opposed to each other just without joining, and the turn-over portions 20 at the top end stop 1 are in contact with the inner wall surface 29 of the flange 27, which flange 27 is protrudingly arranged on both sides of the element passage 28. Therefore, the top end stop 1 cannot be moved toward the rear mouth side of the slider 25 through the element passage 28, so that the sliding of the slider 25 is easily stopped. Further, the U is fused by using ultrasonic treatment at the upper and lower leg portions 21 of the side portion of the reversed portion 20 (the reversed portion 20 is projected toward the inside of the fastener tape 12 at a slack interval)2Together, top end stop 1 can be securely formed. According to the structure of the slider 25, the top end stopper 1 is in contact with the front end portion 30 of the flange 27, so that the sliding of the slider 25 is easily stopped. Although the coil-shaped fastener elements 6 can be sewn by the sewing thread 17 without passing the core thread 16 through the inside of the coil-shaped fastener elements 6, it is necessary to prevent them from coming off the sewing thread 17 when moving in the coil-shaped fastener elements 6.
Second embodiment
For the top end stop of the linear slide fastener of the second embodiment of the present invention shown in fig. 3 and 4, the zigzag-shaped fastener element 7 is used as the linear fastener element 5. The zigzag-shaped fastener elements 7 are sewn along the side edges 13 to the surface of the fastener tape 12 by sewing threads 17 in the same manner as in the first embodiment. At this time, the zigzag-shaped fastener element 7 is sewn to the core thread 16 by the sewing thread 17 so that its coupling head 19 projects from the side edge 13 of the fastener tape 12 to form the endless fastener chain 9. A space portion 10 is formed at a predetermined interval of the fastener chain 9. The coupling head 19 can be pulled out from the core thread 16 and the sewing thread 17 by cutting the upper and lower leg portions 21 at the side portions of the turned-over portion 20 in the zigzag-shaped fastener element 7 so as to create the void portion 10. After forming the bottom end stop at one end of the space portion 10 and the top end stop 1 at the other end of the space portion 10, the fastener chain 9 is cut at the space portion 10 so as to produce a normal type of slide fastener.
The coupling head 19 can be formed to substantially coincide with the side edge 13 by causing the coupling head 19 to be retracted by causing the zigzag-shaped fastener elements 7 formed in the vicinity of the void portion 10 in the fastener chain 9 to move from the side edge 13 of the fastener tape 12 toward the inside of the fastener tape 12. Then, in a state where the turned-over portion 20 of the zigzag-shaped fastener element 7 is retreated from the core thread 16 and the sewing thread 17, the vicinity of the coupling head 19 of the zigzag-shaped fastener element 7 (for example, the lower side thereof) in contact with the fastener tape 12 is fused U by ultrasonic treatment1And the zigzag-shaped fastener elements 7 are fixed to the fastener tapes 12. Since the turned portion 20 of the fixed zigzag fastener element 7 projects more inwardly toward the inside of the fastener tape 12 than the turned portion 20 of the other zigzag fastener element 7, this portion functions as the top end stop 1.
When the slider 25 mounted on the fastener chain 9 is slid toward the top end of the zigzag fastener elements 7 so as to engage the zigzag fastener elements 7 with each other, as shown in fig. 3, the top end stop 1 is pushed inside the element passage 28 formed in the slider 25 by the shoulder side of the slider 25. Therefore, the top end stop 1 cannot move toward the rear mouth side of the slider 25 through the element passage 28, so that the sliding of the slider 25 is easily stopped. And, by using ultrasonic wavesProcessing to fuse U at upper and bottom leg portions 21 of the side portions of the reversed part 20 (the reversed part 20 is projected toward the inside of the fastener tape 12 at a slack interval)2Together, top end stop 1 can be securely formed.
Third embodiment
With regard to the top end stop of the linear slide fastener of the third embodiment of the present invention shown in fig. 5 and 7, the coil-shaped fastener element 6 is used as the linear fastener element 5, and the coil-shaped fastener element 6 is sewn on the surface of the fastener tape 12 along the curved side edge 14 by the sewing thread 17. At this time, the core thread 16 passes through the inside of the coil-shaped fastener element 6, and the coil-shaped fastener element 6 is sewn on the core thread 16 by the sewing thread 17, so that its coupling head 19 protrudes from the curved side edge 14 of the fastener tape 12 to make the concealed type fastener tape 9 in a loop shape. A space portion 10 is formed at a certain interval of the fastener chain 9. The coupling head 19 can be pulled out from the core thread 16 and the sewing thread 17 by cutting the upper and lower leg portions 21 at the side portions of the turned-over portion 20 in the coil-like fastener element 6 so as to form the void portion 10. After forming the bottom end stop at one end of the space portion 10 and the top end stop 1 at the other end of the space portion 10, the fastener chain 9 is cut at the space portion 10 so as to produce a concealed type slide fastener.
The coupling head 19 can be formed to substantially coincide with the curved side edge 14 by causing the coiled fastener element 6 formed in the vicinity of the void portion 10 in the fastener chain 9 to move from the curved side edge 14 of the fastener tape 12 to the inside of the fastener tape 12 to retract the coupling head 19. Then, in a state where the turned-over portion 20 of the coil-shaped fastener element 6 is retreated from the core thread 16 and the sewing thread 17, the lower side of the coupling head 19 in the coil-shaped fastener element 6, which is in contact with the fastener tape 12, is fused U with the fastener tape 12 by ultrasonic treatment1Together and the coil-shaped fastener elements 6 are fixed to the fastener tapes 12. Since the reversed part 20 of the fixed coil-shaped fastener element 6 projects more inwardly toward the inside of the fastener tape 12 than the reversed part 20 of the other coil-shaped fastener element 6, the part functions as the top end stop 1。
When the slider 25 mounted on the concealed type fastener chain 9 is slid toward the tip end portion of the coil-shaped fastener elements 6 so as to engage the coil-shaped fastener elements 6 with each other, as shown in fig. 6, since the reversed portion 20 is projected toward the inside of the fastener tape 12, the reversed portion 20 is brought into contact with the leading end of the flange 27 of the slider 25. Therefore, the top end stop 1 cannot intrude into the inside of the element passage 28 of the slider 25, thereby stopping the sliding of the slider 25. Alternatively, the top end stop 1 can be pushed into the interior of the element channel 28 formed in the slide 25 by means of the shoulder sides, with the connecting heads 19 at the top end stop 1 just opposite one another without connection. At this time, the turnup portion 20 at the top end stop 1 is in contact with the inner wall surface 29 of the flange 27, the flange 27 being arranged to project on both sides of the element passage 28. Therefore, the top end stop 1 cannot move toward the rear mouth side of the slider 25 through the element passage 28, thereby stopping the sliding of the slider 25. Further, the upper and lower leg portions 21 overlapped on the side portions of the reversed part 20 (the reversed part 20 is projected toward the inside of the fastener tape 12 at a slack interval) are fused U by using ultrasonic treatment2Together, top end stop 1 can be securely formed.
Fourth embodiment
With the top end stop 1 of the linear slide fastener of the fourth embodiment of the invention shown in fig. 8, a coil-shaped fastener element 6 is used as the linear fastener element 5 and is woven into the side end portion of the fastener tape 12 by a knitting machine. The coil-shaped fastener elements 6 are fastened by a plurality of warp yarns 32 through the leg portions 21, and the side edge 13 of the fastener tape 12 is woven by the weft yarns 33 of the double pick while the coupling heads 19 of the coil-shaped fastener elements 6 project from the side edge.
In the fastener stringer woven in the above-described manner, the upper and lower leg portions 21 exposed at the side of the coupling heads 19 of the plurality of elements in the coil-like fastener element 6 are cut at predetermined intervals, and the elements 6 are pulled out from the warp yarns 32 by the turnup portions 20 to create the void portions 10, and then, one end shape of the void portions 10 is formedA bottom end stop, and a top end stop 1 is formed at the other end of the space portion 10. The plurality of coupling heads 19 projecting from the side edge 13 of the fastener tape 12 near the space portion 10 are moved toward the inside of the fastener tape 12 so that the side edge 13 substantially coincides with the leading ends of the coupling heads 19 while the coupling heads 19 are kept in a non-coupled state. Then, the leg portion 21 at the bottom of the coil-like fastener element 6 and the fastener tape 12 are fused U1Together in order to prevent the connecting heads 19 from being connected to each other. The turned-over portion 20 overlapped in the vertical direction of the coil-like fastener element 6 projected toward the inside of the fastener tape 12 in the non-engaging portion will fuse the U as the case may be2Together, so as to stop the sliding of the slider 25 by bringing the flip portion 20 into contact with the front end portion 30 of the flange 27 of the slider 25 or into contact with the side surface 29 of the flange 27.
Fifth embodiment
With the top end stop 1 of the linear slide fastener of the fifth embodiment of the invention shown in fig. 9, the coil-shaped fastener elements 6 are used as the linear fastener elements 5 and are woven into the side edge portions of the fastener tapes by a knitting machine. The chain knitting yarn 34 of 1-0/0-1 and the weft in-lay yarn (weft in-lay yarn) of 3-3/0-0 are arranged on all the wales and intertwined with each other for the fastener tape 12, 1-0/0-1, and for W1To W3The weft inserted yarns 36 of 0-0/2-2 are arranged to wrap around the weft inserted yarns 35. For knitting and fixing the coil-like fastener element 6, the leg portion 21 is formed of W1、W2The chain knitting yarn is caught and fastened so that the coupling head 19 protrudes from the fastener stringer 11 on the side edge 13, thereby knitting the fastener stringer 11.
In the fastener stringer 11 knitted in the above-described manner, the upper and lower leg portions 21 exposed at the side of the coupling heads 19 of the plurality of elements in the loop-like fastener element 6 are cut at predetermined intervals, and the elements 6 are pulled out from the chain knitting yarn 34 by the turnup portion 20 so as to form the void portion 10. A bottom end stop is formed at one end of the space portion 10, and a top end stop 1 is formed at the other end of the space portion 10. By a plurality of side edges 13 projecting therefrom, adjacent to the void portion 10The coupling head 19 is moved toward the inside of the fastener tape 12 so as to be arranged such that the side edge 13 and the front end of the coupling head 19 substantially coincide with each other, so as to form a non-coupling state. In this portion, a leg portion 21 at the bottom of the coil-like fastener element 6 and the fastener tape 12 are fused U1Together and fixed so as to prevent the connection heads 19 from being connected to each other.
For the application field, normal-type and concealed-type linear zippers having top end stoppers can be used as overlapping portions for various clothes (e.g., shirts, sport shirts, sportswear, blouses, and jackets). Since the top end stop has plasticity and does not have any burr on its surface, there is no fear of skin damage even when the top end stop is in contact with the neck or the like, and moreover, it is good in touch feeling and therefore has no uncomfortable feeling.
