Description
This application is a divisional application of patent applications having application No. 00816449.5 (international application No. PCT/JP00/08309), application date of 24/11/2000, entitled "cistern-free toilet, western style toilet, private parts washing device, and toilet overflow pipe".
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a cistern-less toilet bowl which can directly supply flushing water supplied from a water supply pipe such as a tap water pipe to a western style toilet bowl body without a toilet flushing tank, and flush the western style toilet bowl.
Background
A western-style toilet bowl is known which includes a western-style toilet bowl main body made of ceramic and a toilet bowl flushing water tank such as a ceramic low-level water tank installed at a rear portion of the western-style toilet bowl main body and temporarily storing flushing water supplied from a water supply pipe such as a water supply pipe. The toilet flushing device can flush the western-style toilet main body with the flushing water stored in the low level tank. The toilet flushing tank is installed at a sidewall of a toilet, outside the toilet body, and has a large volume, because it discharges a large amount of water to the toilet body at a time, thereby reliably flushing excrement from the western-style toilet body. Accordingly, a typical western style toilet requires a large space for a toilet flushing tank.
In recent years, in order to effectively utilize the space of a toilet, a tankless toilet bowl has been developed which can directly supply water supplied from a water supply pipe such as a tap water pipe to a western-style toilet bowl main body (japanese patent application laid-open nos. h 3-90723 and h 3-253630). In this type of tankless toilet, a rim water passage for flushing the bowl with water is formed in the rim of the western-style toilet body, and a rim conduit supplies water to the rim water passage by being connected from behind to the rim water passage hidden in the wall of the western-style toilet body. In addition, as the valve device, an on-off valve having a water inlet and a water outlet, and a vacuum circuit breaker provided with an atmospheric hole are also used. The water inlet of the open-close valve is connected with the water supply pipe through a conduit, and the water outlet is connected with the edge through a conduit. The atmospheric hole of the vacuum circuit breaker communicates with the atmosphere above the uppermost portion of the rim water flow passage. The water tank-free toilet adopts a western-style toilet main body with a supporting part arranged at the rear part of the edge, a fixing plate is fixed on the supporting part of the western-style toilet main body, a toilet flushing device is arranged at the rear side of the fixing plate, and a seat toilet cover device which can be turned up and down is arranged at the front of a cover of the toilet flushing device. The seat toilet cover device is provided with a seat and a toilet cover.
In such a cistern-less toilet, water is supplied from the water supply pipe to the water inlet port of the on-off valve via the pipe, and when the on-off valve is opened, the water is supplied from the water outlet port to the rim water flow passage of the western-style toilet main body via the rim pipe. Thus, water is sprayed to the toilet bowl to flush the toilet bowl. The flushing water sprayed from the nozzle to the return elbow forcibly causes the return elbow to produce a siphon effect. In this case, since the atmosphere hole of the vacuum interrupter is open to the atmosphere on the downstream side thereof, negative pressure is generated in the water supply pipe, the conduit and the upstream side thereof, and the water in the rim water passage does not flow back to the valve device and the upstream side thereof.
This tankless toilet employs a rim conduit connected to an on-off valve, which allows flush water to flow through a rim water flow path at a high speed to ensure flushing capability to a toilet bowl. From an aesthetic point of view, the edge is concealed within the wall by a duct. In addition, this tankless toilet employs a spray pipe connected to an on-off valve, which can spray flush water from a nozzle at a high speed to ensure a siphon effect efficiently, and which is hidden in a wall from the viewpoint of appearance. In order to ensure a high degree of accuracy in the outer dimensions of such a tankless toilet, a base plate is provided between the western-style toilet main body and the opening/closing valve. For the convenience of assembly, the edge conduit and the injection conduit are designed to be inserted on the opening and closing valve through the base plate. Therefore, the closestool without the water tank has larger flushing capacity, beautiful appearance and convenient assembly.
There is also known a private parts washing mechanism provided in a western-style toilet main body and having a private parts washing mechanism for washing a private part of a human body, and a water supply device directly connected to a water supply pipe for supplying washing water from the outside and connected to the private parts washing mechanism through a strainer.
The strainer described herein is used to filter foreign matter in the flushing water to prevent the foreign matter in the flushing water supplied from the water line from clogging the local flushing mechanism. In the local flushing mechanism, a cap is arranged at the lower end of the water supply device, and the filter screen in the local flushing mechanism can be taken out by opening the cap. For the sake of appearance, the water supply device is concealed by a resin cover, and a cap of the water supply device protrudes downward for facilitating the removal of the internal strainer.
A known toilet overflow is mounted in a through hole extending through a wall of a toilet main body. If such a toilet overflow pipe is provided, for example, near the wall of the rim water passage, the water outlet is located in the rim water passage, and thus, the toilet overflow pipe can be used as a rim nozzle. With such a rim nozzle, the flushing water coming in from its water inlet is sprayed from its water outlet into the rim water channel.
Disclosure of Invention
In the conventional tankless toilet described above, one end of the rim conduit opens into the rim water flow passage of the western-style toilet main body, and the wall surface of the western-style toilet main body is exposed in the middle. The other end is fixed on the substrate. The other end of the edge guide pipe is inserted into an opening/closing valve fixed on the base plate. Similarly, in this tankless toilet, one end of the spray pipe is fixed to a nozzle fixed to the western-style toilet main body, and the other end thereof is also fixed to the base plate. The other end of the injection pipe may be inserted into an opening/closing valve fixed to the base plate.
Therefore, in this tankless toilet, since the rim conduit and the spray conduit are fixed to the western-style toilet main body through the base plate, the rim conduit and the spray conduit cannot be stably installed in the western-style toilet main body before the base plate is fixed to the western-style toilet main body at the time of assembly. Therefore, it is difficult to assemble the water tank-less toilet bowl very conveniently.
The first and second inventions have been developed in view of the above conventional circumstances, and the first and second objects to be solved are to ensure a large flushing capability, to make the appearance beautiful, and to make the assembly easy.

The following describes specific embodiments of the first and second inventions with reference to the drawings.
(first embodiment)
The water tank-less toilet of the first embodiment is a water tank-less type toilet without a toilet flush tank. As shown in fig. 1, the western-style toilet main body 1 of the tankless toilet includes a ceramic bowl 11 having a stool groove 10 for receiving excrement, a rim 13 extending along an upper peripheral edge of the bowl 11 and having a rim water passage 12, and a drain elbow part 14 communicating with a bottom of the stool groove 10 and allowing the excrement to flow out. A nozzle 15 for generating a siphon action is provided at an inlet of the drain elbow portion 14. The toilet lid and seat are omitted from the drawings.
The western-style toilet main body 1 is provided with a rim conduit 2 for supplying water to the rim water passage 12 and a spray conduit 3 for supplying water to the spray nozzle 15.
A cavity-shaped rim water guide channel 16 is arranged in the upper side of the rear part of the western-style toilet main body 1. The rim catchment channel 16 communicates with the rim flow channel 12 through a through-hole 17 as shown in fig. 2. The rim gutter channel 16 is hidden by an upper wall surface 18 and a side wall surface 19 constituting the wall surface of the western-style toilet main body 1 and is not visible from the outside in a normal state.
The rear part of the western-style toilet main body 1 is provided with a 1 st mounting part 41 for mounting the rim pipe 2 and a 2 nd mounting part 42 for mounting the jet pipe 3. As shown in fig. 3 to 5, the first mounting portion 41 is formed with a 1 st mounting hole 41a penetrating in the front-rear direction, and as shown in fig. 6, the 2 nd mounting portion 42 is formed with a 2 nd mounting hole 42a penetrating in the up-down direction.
As shown in fig. 3 and 4, the wall surface 1 st attachment surface 41b of the 1 st attachment part 41 of the western-style toilet main body 1 is exposed rearward in a state before the opening/closing valve 5 is attached to the western-style toilet main body 1. As shown in fig. 6, the wall surface 2 nd attachment surface 42b of the 2 nd attachment part 42 of the western-style toilet main body 1 is exposed at the upper rear part.
As shown in fig. 1, a base plate 43 having a lateral plate portion 43r and a vertical plate portion 43t is detachably fixed to the western-style toilet main body 1 by a mounting bolt 44 at the rear portion of the western-style toilet main body 1. The opening/closing valve 5 and the like are hidden by the cover case 45.
A water supply pipe 47 such as a tap water pipe is provided on a wall of the toilet, and a faucet 48 having an opening/closing operation unit 48x is attached to an end of the water supply pipe 47. The water tap 48 is connected to a water inlet 50 of the on-off valve 5 by a flexible hose 49 functioning as a connection pipe. Therefore, the flushing water of the water supply pipe 47 can be supplied to the water inlet 50 of the on-off valve 5 through the faucet 48.
As shown in fig. 2, the opening/closing valve 5 includes an edge opening/closing valve 51 and a nozzle opening/closing valve 52 adjacent thereto. The edge opening/closing valve 51 and the nozzle opening/closing valve 52 have valve chambers that communicate with each other, not shown in the drawings, an openable/closable valve device provided in the valve chambers, and a drive device that opens and closes the valve device. Thus, the flushing water supplied to the inlet 50 of the on-off valve 5 can be supplied to the edge on-off valve 51 and the nozzle on-off valve 52. As shown in fig. 1, a vacuum interrupter 53 for preventing backflow is provided above the on-off valve 5. On the vacuum breaker 53, at the uppermost portion higher than the rim water flow path 12, an atmosphere hole 54 communicating with the atmosphere is formed. Thus, the negative pressure generated in the water flow passage on the upstream side of the vacuum circuit breaker 53 can be suppressed.
As shown in fig. 4 and 5, the edge duct 2 includes a duct main body 2a constituting a main pipe and having a passage 2d therein, and a spud 6 coaxially and integrally connected to an axial end of the duct main body 2 a.
The overflow pipe 6 is composed of a large diameter portion 60 of a short cylindrical shape having a thick pipe wall and a cylindrical tubular insertion end portion 61 provided at one end of the large diameter portion 60 and coaxial with the pipe main body 2 a.
The large diameter portion 60 has a conical inclined surface 60a having a larger outer diameter as the distance from the insertion end portion 61 increases, and a male screw 60c formed between the insertion end portion 61 and the inclined surface 60 a. A fitting hole 65 having a circular cross section is coaxially formed in the center of the large diameter portion 60. The fitting hole 65 has a flat inner peripheral surface 65a and a stepped positioning portion 65 c. The shaft end of the catheter main body 2a can be pressed into the fitting hole 65 of the large diameter portion 60 and fixed integrally. The shaft end of the catheter main body 2a is brought into contact with the positioning portion 65C, and the position is fixed.
The insertion end portion 61 communicates with the passage 2d of the catheter main body 2a, and has a cylindrical shape with a central hole 61a having the same inner diameter as the passage 2d and an outer diameter smaller than the large diameter portion 60. An annular groove 61c is formed at the outer peripheral tip of the insertion end portion 61, and an annular ring 66 formed of an elastic material and functioning as an annular seal member is provided in the annular groove 61 c. The outer diameter of the insertion end portion 61 is set to correspond to the inner diameter of the 1 st water outlet 51c of the edge opening/closing valve 51.
To prepare the cap nut 62 functioning as a coupling member, a sleeve-shaped 1 st packing 63 formed of an elastic material and functioning as a sealing member, and a flat annular 2 nd packing 64 formed of a rebound material and functioning as a sealing member. The cap nut 62 has an annular cap portion 62k extending in the radial direction and a female screw 62h formed in the inner peripheral portion and screwed with the male screw 60c of the large diameter portion 60.
The rim pipe 2 is detachably fixed to the 1 st mounting wall surface 41b of the 1 st mounting part 41 of the rear part of the western-style toilet main body 1. Next, a method of fixing the edge pipe 2 to the 1 st installation wall surface 41b will be described. First, the 1 st gasket 63 is attached to the inclined surface 60a of the large diameter portion 60 of the overflow pipe 6, and the large diameter portion 60 is fitted into the 1 st mounting hole 41a from the direction of the arrow S1. In this state, the 2 nd gasket 64 is fitted into the outer periphery of the large diameter portion 60 from the direction of the arrow S2, the female screw 62h of the cap nut 62 is screwed into the male screw 60c of the large diameter portion 60, and the cap nut 62 is tightened. Thus, the rim pipe 2 is removably fixed to the western-style toilet main body 1.
In a state where the rim pipe 2 is fixed to the western-style toilet main body 1, the 1 st and 2 nd gaskets 63 and 64 are compressively deformed, whereby the sealability between the large diameter portion 60 of the overflow pipe 6 and the 1 st mounting hole 41a can be ensured, and the sealability of the rim pipe 2 can be ensured.
As shown in fig. 6, the injection duct 3 as another duct is composed of a duct main body 3a having a passage 3d therein as a main body and a spud 6 coaxially and integrally connected to an axial end of the duct main body 3 a. The overflow pipe 6 is the same as the overflow pipe 6 shown in fig. 4, and the same reference numerals are given to the same portions.
The shaft end of the pipe body 3a is press-fitted into the fitting hole 65 of the large diameter fitting 60 of the overflow pipe 6 to be fixed. The jet pipe 3 is detachably fixed to the 2 nd mounting wall surface 42b of the 2 nd mounting part 42 of the rear part of the western-style toilet main body 1.
The method of fixing the blast pipe 3 to the 2 nd installation wall surface 42b is the same as the method of fixing the marginal pipe 2 to the 1 st installation wall surface 41 b. In this way, in a state where the jet pipe 3 is fixed to the western-style toilet main body 1, the 1 st and 2 nd gaskets 63 and 64 are compressively deformed, whereby the sealing property between the large diameter portion 60 of the overflow pipe 6 and the 2 nd mounting hole 42a can be secured, and the sealing property of the jet pipe 3 can be secured.
In this state, as shown in fig. 4, the insertion end portion 61 of the overflow pipe 6 protrudes further outward than the 1 st installation wall surface 41b, that is, rearward of the western-style toilet main body 1. As shown in fig. 6, the insertion end portion 61 of the overflow pipe 6 protrudes upward from the 2 nd mounting wall surface 42b of the 2 nd mounting portion 42 of the western-style toilet main body 1. On the other hand, the edge on-off valve 51 is fixed to the vertical plate portion 43t of the substrate 43.
For this purpose, the rim opening/closing valve 51 and the nozzle opening/closing valve 52 are moved together with the base plate 43 from the rear of the western-style toilet main body 1 toward the insertion end 61 of the overflow pipe 6. That is, as shown in fig. 4, the edge opening/closing valve 51 is inserted in the axial direction of the insertion end portion 61 from the direction of the arrow S3, and as shown in fig. 6, the nozzle opening/closing valve 52 is similarly inserted in the axial direction of the insertion end portion 61. Thus, as shown in fig. 5, the 1 st water outlet 51c of the edge opening/closing valve 51 is inserted into the insertion end portion 61 and fitted thereto. As shown in fig. 6, the 1 st water outlet 52c of the nozzle opening/closing valve 52 is inserted into the insertion end portion 61 and fitted thereto.
As shown in fig. 5 and 6, at the inlet of the 1 st water outlet 51c, 52c, a conical guide surface 56 is formed which is enlarged radially inward and outward. Therefore, the guide surface 56 can elastically deform the ring 66 well without damaging the ring 66 when the insertion is performed.
In this state, the inner wall surfaces of the 1 st water outlets 51c, 52c are fitted to the outer peripheral surface of the insertion end portion 61 in a face-to-face manner, and the ring 66 is elastically deformed by the 1 st water outlets 51c, 52c of the rim on-off valve 51 or the nozzle on-off valve 52, thereby ensuring the sealing property between the insertion end portion 61 of the overflow pipe 6 and the 1 st water outlets 51c, 52c of the rim on-off valve 51 or the nozzle on-off valve 52.
Thereafter, as shown in fig. 1, the base plate 43 is removably fixed to the western-style toilet main body 1 by the mounting bolt 44. Thus, the connection between the rim conduit 2 and the rim on-off valve 51 is completed, and the connection between the injection conduit 3 and the nozzle on-off valve 52 is completed.
In this way, in the cistern-less toilet, the rim pipe 2 is fixed to the 1 st mounting wall surface 41b of the western-style toilet main body 1, and the rim pipe 2 can be inserted into the rim on-off valve 51 of the on-off valve 5 fixed to the base plate 43. The injection pipe 3 is fixed to the 2 nd mounting wall surface 42b of the western-style toilet main body 1, and the injection pipe 3 is inserted into the nozzle opening/closing valve 52 of the opening/closing valve 5 fixed to the base plate 43. Therefore, the rim pipe 2 and the spray pipe 3 can be stably installed on the western-style toilet main body 1 before the base plate 43 is fixed to the western-style toilet main body 1 at the time of assembly, and therefore, the assembly is very easy.
In the cistern-less toilet thus constructed, the flushing water from the water supply pipe 47 can be supplied to the inlet 50 of the on-off valve 5 through the faucet 48 and the hose 49. The edge on-off valve 51 and the nozzle on-off valve 52 of the on-off valve 5 are closed unless the user performs the opening and closing operation of the toilet bowl, and the flushing water of the water supply pipe 47 is not supplied to the toilet without the tank.
When the western-style toilet main body 1 is flushed, the rim on-off valve 51 is opened in response to a user's switch operation. Thus, since the inlet port 50 communicates with the 1 st outlet port 51c of the rim on-off valve 51, the flushing water of the water supply pipe 47 is discharged from the 1 st outlet port 51c and supplied to the rim water flow path 12 of the western-style toilet main body 1 via the rim pipe 2. As shown in fig. 2, the rim water passage 2 is accommodated in the wide water passage 16, and the other end 2c of the rim water passage 12 opposite to the overflow pipe 6 of the rim water passage 2 is opened by passing through the through hole 17. At the other end 2c of the edge guide 2, a 1 st opening 2e which opens at the front end and discharges the washing water to the right, and a 2 nd opening 2f which opens at the side and discharges the washing water to the left are formed. Therefore, after the flushing water is supplied from the 1 st water outlet 51c of the edge opening/closing valve 51 to the edge guide pipe 2, the flushing water is discharged from the 1 st opening 2e to the right in fig. 2, and is discharged from the 2 nd opening 2f to the left in fig. 2. Thus, the inner wall surface of the excrement tank 10 can be washed. That is, in the cistern-less toilet, since the rim conduit 2 connected to the rim on-off valve 51 is used, the flushing water can flow through the rim water flow passage 12 at a high speed, and the flushing capability of the toilet bowl 11 can be ensured more favorably.
After the nozzle on-off valve 52 is opened, the water inlet 50 communicates with the 2 nd water outlet 52c of the nozzle on-off valve 52, so that the flushing water discharged from the 2 nd water outlet 52c of the nozzle on-off valve 52 is supplied to the nozzle 15 via the spray pipe 3. Therefore, in the tankless toilet, the flush water is ejected from the nozzle 15 at a high speed, and an effective siphon action can be surely generated. Thus, the excrement is discharged out of the western-style toilet main body 1.
In this tankless toilet, the rim pipe 2 is hidden in the 1 st installation wall surface 41b, and the jet pipe 3 is hidden in the 2 nd installation wall surface 42b, so that the appearance is more beautiful.
In this tankless toilet, since the base plate 43 is interposed between the western-style toilet main body 1 and the opening/closing valve 5, it is possible to ensure a high accuracy in outer dimensions.
Therefore, the closestool without the water tank has great flushing capacity, beautiful appearance and convenient assembly.
(second embodiment)
The water tank-less toilet bowl according to the second embodiment has basically the same structure as the water tank-less toilet bowl according to the first embodiment, and has the same effects. Hereinafter, description will be made centering on different portions.
As shown in fig. 7 and 8, the edge duct 2B is composed of a duct main body 2a formed of a cylindrical pipe constituting the main body and a rectangular columnar spud 6B formed integrally with the duct main body 2a and having a thick pipe wall.
The overflow joint 6B has 4 flat fitting surfaces 6k, 4 engaging projections 6s projecting outward from the fitting surfaces 6k, and a positioning contact surface 6t substantially perpendicular to the axis of the insertion end portion 61. At the front end of the overflow joint 6B, an insertion end portion 61 is formed coaxially and integrally with one end of the overflow joint 6B. A male screw 6c is formed on the insertion end portion 61.
An annular groove 61c is formed at the outer peripheral tip of the insertion end portion 61, and an annular ring 66 formed of an elastic material and functioning as an annular seal member is provided in the annular groove 61 c. The cap nut 28 serving as a fixing member has an annular cap portion 28k and a female screw 28h formed in an inner peripheral portion and screwed with the male screw 6C of the insertion end portion 61.
Next, a method of fixing the rim pipe 2B to the 1 st mounting wall surface 41B of the 1 st mounting part 41 in the rear part of the western-style toilet main body 1 will be described. In the second embodiment, the 1 st mounting hole 41a is a square hole that coincides with the overflow joint 6B. This prevents the edge guide from rotating. First, as shown in fig. 8, the overflow pipe 6B constituting the rim pipe 2B is fitted into the 1 st fitting hole 41a of the western-style toilet main body 1 from the direction of the arrow S1 ″. In this state, the inner wall surface of the 1 st mounting hole 41a and the fitting surface 6k of the overflow joint 6B directly face each other, and the contact surface 6t of the overflow joint 6B and the wall surface 41p of the 1 st mounting surface 41 are brought into contact with each other. Thus, the catheter main body 2a of the edge catheter 2B is positioned in the axial direction thereof. Then, the nut 28 fitted with the 3 rd gasket 29 functioning as a sealing member formed of an elastic material is screwed, and the female screw 28h of the nut 28 is screwed with the male screw 6c of the overflow joint 6. Thus, the pipe main body 2a of the rim pipe 2B is removably fixed to the 1 st mounting hole 41a of the western-style toilet main body 1.
In this state, the 1 st mounting hole 41a can be ensured in sealing property by the compression deformation of the 3 rd gasket 29. As described above, the insertion end 61 of the rim pipe 2B projects further outward than the 1 st mounting wall surface 41B of the western-style toilet main body 1, i.e., rearward of the western-style toilet main body 1. Therefore, the edge opening/closing valve 51 is moved together with the substrate 43 from the rear side, i.e., in the direction of the arrow 53 ″ toward the insertion end portion 61. Thus, the 1 st water outlet 51c of the edge opening/closing valve 51 is inserted into the insertion end portion 61 of the edge guide tube 2B. The same applies to the injection conduit and the nozzle opening/closing valve. Thereafter, the base plate 43 is fixed to the western-style toilet main body 1 with the mounting bolts 44.
Industrial applicability
Thus, the toilet without a water tank of the first and second inventions can ensure a large flushing capacity, and is beautiful in appearance and convenient in assembly.
