Description
The invention relates to a rope brake on a speed limiter for lifts, where the rope brake has two brake linings.
Such rope brakes shall be actuated by the speed limiter when the speed limitation is exceeded, so that a limitation rope, which is guided by a rope disc of the speed limitation, and which is securely connected to a lift cab, is braked and a catching device is activated to stop the lift cab.
The German patent 25 28 067 makes known a speed limiter with a rope brake, which has a fixed and a movable brake base. The movable brake base is attached to a bolt in a rope brake housing. Two levers under the influence of each pressure spring are one end directed at two bolts in the bolt and the other end on two axles in the rope brake housing. The pressure springs are each tensioned between two discs, one of which is attached to one shoulder of the lever and the other to the disc, and the holes provided in the levers allow the displacement of the lever and thus the movement of the brake back in the direction of the throttle. The brake liner is equipped with an actuating plate, through which an actuating arm of the speed limiter can move the movable brake rod from an opening to a brake position. The brake rods for rope brakes of the type described above are usually made of either aluminum bronze (CuAl) or spherical cast (GGG).
The purpose of the invention is to propose a rope brake according to the general concept, in which the aforementioned disadvantages of the brake backing material are less affected.
This problem is solved by the invention mentioned in the independent claims 1 and 4.
In a preferred design, one brake head is made of aluminium bronze and the other brake head is made of spherical or grey cast.
High performance versions also have two brake liners made of different materials, each one of which is made of a ceramic material.
In a further version, both brake linings are made of a ceramic material.
The advantages of the invention are that the advantageous properties of both materials can be exploited. When braking, the brake bracket made of aluminum brass mainly conducts the heat away from the limiting rope, which has a positive effect on the rope wear. The spherical cast brake bracket ensures low wear. The advantages of the further design lie in the high wear resistance and heat resistance of the ceramic material.
The following is a detailed illustration of the invention by means of an example of an embodiment in the context of the drawing.
It shows:
Figure 1 shows a view of the rope brake,Figure 2 shows a view of the rope brake in the direction A of Figure 1,Figure 3 shows a view of the rope brake in the direction B of Figure 1.
In Figures 1 to 3, 1 is used to indicate a brake body consisting of two side sections 2.3 with curved flanges 2.1, 3.1. The side sections 2, 3 are connected by a spacer section 4 and a spacer tube 5. At the spacer section 4 a fixed brake beam 6 is attached, for example, consisting of spherical cast (GGG) or grey cast. For example, a movable brake beam 7 consisting of aluminium bronze (CuAl) is connected to a guide part 8 between the sides 2,3 of the brake body 1.
Two telescopic levers 9 consist of a cylinder part 9.1 and a piston part 9.2 each. The cylinder parts 9.1 are directed to two bolts 10 located on the guide part 8 while the piston parts 9.2 are directed to two axles 11 located on the brake housing 1. On the piston parts 9.2 there are 12 presses which support each other at the ends via discs 13 on the axles 11 and 9.1 respectively. Between a traverse 14 fixed on the guide part 8 and a traverse 14 located on the brake housing 1 a draw spring 16 is placed at an angle 15. The traverse 14 relies on the rotation of an un-shaped accelerator so that the components 9 - 7 and 8 are positioned in a telescopic brake.
If the speed of a lift cab is exceeded, the above-mentioned actuator is moved so that it no longer supports the traverse 14 so that the guide 8 falls down with the movable brake liner 7 and the brake liner 7 is pushed by the pressure springs 12 against a limiting rope 17 running between it and the immovable brake liner 6, thus decelerating the limiting rope 17 and triggering a catching device.
It is also possible to use aluminium bronze (CuAl) for the fixed brake liner 6 and spherical cast (GGG) or grey cast (GG) for the movable brake liner 7.
A ceramic material may also be used instead of the various metals or alloys for one or both brake linings.
It is within the scope of the invention to equip brake liners of the same material with brake linings of different materials, preferably using the materials mentioned above for the brake linings.
