Διαλαμβάνει κατεργασίαν πολυακρυλικού νατρίου δι'ύδατος, εις αναλογίαν 1 έως 10g/ύδατος, επί χρονικόν διάστημα μεταξύ 1 και 300 δευτερολέπτων και εις θερμοκρασίαν μεταξύ 10 και 40C βαθμούς κελσίου προς επίτευξιν του πηκτώματος. Αι κύριαι χρήσεις του πηκτώματος είναι προς κατάσβεσιν πυρκαϊών και ώς τι μέσον δια παροχήν (προμήθειαν) υγρασίας εις γεωργικήν χρήσιν. ω
