Abstract

Novelty: fishing mechanism equipped with closed pulleys facilitating the handling of hooks and snoods as used in long lines. Constitution: a complex of subsidiary mechanisms: the lure-removing guide composed of two pipes (1,2) from which the pipe 2 is stable and the pipe 1 is retained at desired position via a screw 3 tightening this last from the top of the mechanism; the closed circuit of two free pulleys (7, 8) being closed between two metal sheets (11,12) and able to guide the fishing tackle of the long line, the casts and the hooks towards the traction pulley; the long line traction pulley composed of two metal rings (21,22) enclosed inside plastic rings (23,24) so as to form a V-like groove of double angle; the guide destined to divert the hooks in the horizontal position and composed of two cylinders (33 and 34) being adjacent to the horizontal metal sheet 35 and 36, respectively; the long line traction system which system is composed of two rollers (39,40) mutually tightened through rotation of a shaft 49 eccentrically connected to the shaft 48 whereto the moving roller 40 is seated with the assistance of the lever 52; the long line traction system is initiated, via the toothed belt 47, by the traction pulley.
