Abstract

Subject: glass pane-supporting system for glass parapet construction.Constitution: L-shaped base body 1 standing on its horizontal foot fixed via the holes 11 and the anchoring elements 5 onto the seat of the parapet 26; the I-shaped clamp 2 perpendicularly screwed through the holes 21 on the floor of the base body 1 at the corresponding threaded portion 12 via the screws 6 to form a U-shaped recess of sufficient height and width for receiving a glass pane which will be tightened by clamps 2 and mounting packings 4 on the base body 1; the side covers 3 fixed by snap-action via the surfaces 24,25 into recesses 15,17 of the base body and into recesses 19,23 of the clamp for concealing the calking and clamping screws 5,6; void interval between seating points throughout the length of the parapet; the plugs 8 screwed with screws 9 through the holes 27 on the body 1 at the threaded portion 28 and the clamp 2 at the threaded portion 29. The base body 1 bears internal and external ribs 13, ribs enhancing the rigidity of the clamping surface 10 as well as that of the foot. The clamp 2 bears internal ribs 22 enhancing the rigidity of the clamping surface 18.
