Abstract

Novelty: stone-retaining meshes are disclosed. Production process: use of machines fed with two groups of longitudinal wires (5,6) the wires of each group being in almost parallel arrangement. Throughout construction, the wires of the second group are transversally displaced towards the supply direction so as to get close to one of the two next wires of the first group. When the wires of the first group adjoin the wires of the second, these wires are mutually twisted so that junction regions 52 are formed. According to the invention, one at least element of the first group and/or of the second comprises one wire 7 and one wire rope 8 or two separate wires 7; this feature endows the meshes with durability, without hampering their production.
