Abstract

The present invention relates to a triboelectric energy production system with which electrical energy is produced from the friction of tires on the road surface and stored in an accumulator. Electrical energy is produced by the triboelectric effect (4) as a wheel (1) of a passing vehicle comes into intermittent contact with a positively charged rod (2) and a negatively charged rod (3) both located on a base (5) which it is made of insulating material and placed on the road surface (7). An underground wheel is placed between the above rods and the wheel of the passing vehicle; this underground wheel acts as a multiplier in the generation of energy since it is set in motion by the wheel of the passing vehicle and rotates statically in continuous contact with said rods.
