Abstract

Novelty: a lightweight frame supporting short-sightedness and sun lenses is disclosed. Purpose: minimization of pressure exerted on the user΄s face, enhanced lighting, greater optical field, lesser weight and diplopia suppression thanks to the lens support mode called Drossostalia. Technical properties: hinges are eliminated and replaced by lightweight materials such as spring, silicone and stainless wire. The resulted frame is unbreakable and resistant to adverse conditions; it provides freedom and transparency, it is hardly discernible and industrially produced in original designs; it has beneficial effects to the head and face of the users and suits any type of faces (fig. A,B,Γ,Δ).
