Abstract
Hydraulic tension mechanism for construction works which tension mechanism is used to provide protection to any type of building constructions against natural phenomena such as earthquakes and whirlwinds. This is obtained by continuous prestressing of the building construction towards the ground and vice versa as well as by formation of a single sandwich-like body consisted of both constituent bodies of said tension mechanism 108 applying prestressing force on the building work. Constitution: a wire rope 2 traversing the centre of the vertical supporting elements (columns) 34 of the building construction and the length of drilling 31 being underneath said columns. The lower part of the tension mechanism is calked with an anchor-type mechanism 17 which -being calked on the sides of the digging 31- cannot go up. The upper part of the wire rope 2 is likely calked via the hydraulic tension mechanism 1 which pulls said rope with a continuous ascent force. The desired depression of the building work is generated by the exerted tension of the hydraulic mechanism 1 on the wire rope 2 and the reaction of the calked anchor 17 against this tension.
