Abstract

Subject: t-shaped olive fruit-beating rod having two clutches on the horizontal shaft. Constitution: a T-like pole 2 comprising two vertical drive shafts 15, 24, one angular transmitter 14 along with the horizontal shaft 7, two independent clutches6 and two cylinders with olive fruit-beating members 4. Advantage: In case of entanglement between one of the cylinders 5 and tree branches the rotary operation of the facing cylinder 5 bearing the olive fruit-beating members 4 is uninterrupted. Incase of entanglement of both cylinders 5 and beating members 4 with the tree branches the operation of the electromotor 33 is equally uninterrupted since the clutches 6 isolate the rotation of the cylinders 5 bearing the beating members 4 so that the tree branches are released and so preserved from damage by slight displacement of the pole 1. Namely, the aim of the invention is to allow the non-stop operation of the device independently of the cylinders condition 5. Furthermore, no restarting of the electromotor 33 is needed since, in entanglement phase, the system of clutches 6 isolate, solely, the cylinders 5 along with the beating members 4 and not the pole 1, via the overloading switch 32. Purpose: preventing entanglement of the olivefruit-beating pole 2 with tree branches what involves protection of the olive trees from damage; obtaining the maximum possible efficient operation of the device when used by debutants.
