Abstract
The invention relates to an automatic surgical stapling device adaptable to a special surgical glove used during the suturing process and anastomosis of hollow viscera. The size and ergonomic properties of said stapling device allow its access to anatomic regions whereto ordinary angular rotary retractable or newer steady arcuated stapling devices have no access. This is obtained by minimization of the related voluminous accessories in respect to ordinary surgical stapling devices as well as byincorporation of the novel stapling device via the surgeon's hand what involves maximum ergonomy and facility throughout use. Its main use consists in the anastomosis of the low front section of the colon where the invented device replaces the voluminous and difficult-to-use stapling devices of the Roticulator, Access, and Contour type during the surgical phase of suture and section of the colon at a peripheral and central region.
