Abstract

The invention (see fig.) relates to a pleating shading system -a pergola-like awning- composed of the telescopic driving shaft 2 initiated by the Power kit 1 and conveying the motion to the central guides 6, the counter members 8, the counterweight 9 and the PVC fabric 12 connected to the foregoing counter members and the counterweight 7 carrying away -in dependence on the clockwise and anticlockwise motion induced by the motor 1- the counter members 8 with the fabric 12 for the pleating and deployment of the whole shading system. 13x7 metres of one-piece fabric with minimum inclination of the order of 12% are the maximum effective covering surface of the invented shading system. Advantages: easy placing on spaces of uncommon dimensions orshapes and protection from all weather conditions.
