Abstract
The inclining machine for aligning, bending and cutting iron rods has facilities to align, bend and cut simultaneously single or double iron rods of any quality or cross section with a cross section of 16 millimetres or more. It is fed with iron coils and straight rods. It forms various shapes, single-turns (simple yokes)or multiple turns (continuous spiral yokes), which are used to reinforce building constructions, for decorative structures etc. The machine consists of the metal frame 1 which is seated on a metal base 16. As well as the horizontal position it can adopt various inclinations, backwards and forwards, according to production requirements. It consists: a) of two input sheaves 2 & 3, propelling 5 & 6 and aligning the iron rod 7, b) of the mechanism for bending the rod 25 & 26 and cutting 19 which work together and have the capacity to bend a side below 5 cm and cut a section over 16 millimetres, c) of the ancillary structures: collecting the formed shapes, supporting the bending mechanism for the continuous spiral shapes, collecting the straight iron rods. All the machinery is regulated and controlled from a control panel. The production process is performed automatically (computer program) or is hand operated.
