Abstract

The invention relates to a submarine wave-power-generating system. It is composed of a steel spherical or cylindrical submarine unit(5) bearing the integral ballast cisterns (19), the keel (27) at its base, the rudder (16), the conductor communicating with the sea surface (9) and ending in the the platform (10), the internal electric equipment, the external sideways extended nettings (wings) (4) whereon there are firmly positioned the submarine low-voltage ac power generators operated by the oscillation of the floats (1) which, floating on the sea surface, are retained with wire ropes (2) and equal-in-number counterweights (8) adapted to the wire rope-reel (winch) (38). The power, produced at the generators (17) by the vertical oscillation of the floats (1) and the rotary motion of the winches (38), is conveyed to the submarine unit (5) to be rectified (dc); then, being converted by the electric arrangement into 3-phase direct current, it is conducted- via the submarine cable (18)- to consumption. The whole system is casted at 8-20 m under the sea and retained therein by means of the mooring provided.
