Ο στατικός αεριστήρας πολύ μικρών φυσαλίδων είναι διασπορέαςαέρα ή αερίου σε υγρό μέσο διασποράς με κυρίως πεδίοεφαρμογής τον αερισμό των λυμάτων σε εγκαταστάσεις βιολογικούκαθαρισμού. Αντίθετα με τα γνωστά είδη στατικών αεριστήρων οιοποίοι παράγουν μεσαίου μεγέθους φυσσλίδες, ο εν λόγωστατικός αεριστήρας δημιουργεί πολύ λεπτές φυσσαλίδες,πλησιάζοντας έτσι τις αποδόσεις των πορωδών συστημάτωνδιάχυσης, διατηρώντας όμως το πλεονέκτημα να μη βουλώνει καινα μειώνει την απόδοσή του με τη πάροδο του χρόνου.Βελτιώνει επίσης και πολλά άλλα χαρακτηριστικά των στατικώναεριστήρων όπως το πρόβλημα των έντονων κραδασμών κατά τηλειτουργία τους ενώ τέλος το κόστος κατασκευής του είναι πολύχαμηλώτερο.ωThe static aerator of very small bubbles is a disperser of air or gas in a liquid dispersant with the main field of application being the aeration of sewage in biological treatment plants.
