Abstract
Συμφώνως προς τα βελτιώσεις αυτάς, κατ' αρχήν διεξάγεται ένα στάδιο αντιδράσεως εις το οποίον το χλωριούχον κάλιον φέρεται εις επαφήν με ένα διάλυμα αραιού νιτρικού οξέος το οποίον προέρχεται από το στάδιο της ανακτήσεως του οξέος δια επανεκχυλίσεως και με ένα διάλυμα πυκνού νιτρικού οξέος, διαλυομένου τοιουτοτρόπως του συνόλου του χλωριούχου καλίου το οποίον τροφοδοτείται, και αποφευγομένης τυχόν κρυσταλλώσεως του σχηματιζομένου νιτρικού καλίου, ούτως ώστε εν συνεχεία, να διεξαχθεί ένα στάδιο διαχωρισμού των αδιαλύτων ακαθαρσιών οι οποίες συνοδεύουν το χλωριούχον κάλιον εκ του μείγματος αντιδράσεως το οποίον λαμβάνεται, αφηνομένου αυτού (του νιτρικού καλίου) τελείως διαυγούς και απηλλαγμένου από στερεά. Με τας βελτιώσεις αυτάς είναι δυνατόν να επιτευχθεί πλήρης διαχωρισμός των αδιαλύτων ακαθαρσιών του χλωριούχου καλίου, αμέσως μετά το στάδιον της αντιδράσεως, ώστε τοιουτοτρόπως να εξαλείφονται πλήρως τα προβλήματα τα οποία προκύπτουν από αυτές και να παραχθεί ένα λευκό νιτρικό κάλιο μεγάλης καθαρότητος, κατάλληλο για οποιαδήποτε χρησιμοποίηση. ωAccording to these improvements, in principle a reaction step is carried out in which the potassium chloride is brought into contact with a solution of dilute nitric acid which comes from the step of recovering the acid by re-extraction and with a solution of concentrated nitric acid, thus dissolved of all the potassium chloride that is fed, and avoiding any crystallization of the formed potassium nitrate, so that subsequently, a stage of separation of the insoluble impurities that accompany the potassium chloride from the reaction mixture which is obtained, leaving it (of the nitrate potassium) completely clear and free from solids.
