Abstract
993,038. Theatrical scenery. GRANADA T.V. NETWORK Ltd. Nov. 7, 1963 [Nov. 13, 1962], No. 42835/62. Heading A6M. In a set of units in tne construction of theatrical scenery, the units differ in one dimension by an incremental amount between any two successive units of the set. The embodiment describes prefabricated scenery comprising flats 11, 12, 16 of a normally constant height of 10 feet, Fig. 1, but varying in width by multiples of an incremental amount of, say, six inches. If variable heights are required of particular widths, such as 15, these too by incremental amounts of also, say, six inches. The flats may be plain or may be provided with an aperture 41, Figs. 3 and 4, for receiving other units of standard size comprising a bookcase 42, brickwall 43 or window 44. Fig. 5 shows a flat 46 for doors 51, 52 and fanlight 50. Corner pieces 103, 104, 105, Figs. 12, 13, 14, respectively, may be provided which are curved outwardly or inwardly, or flat.
