Abstract

A polyolefin is stabilized with a composition comprising (a) a 2,21-dihydroxy-4-alkyl or -alkoxy benzophenone, (b) a diester of thiodiglycollic or b ,b 1-thio-dipropionic acid (e.g. the dilauryl, dicetyl or distearyl ester), and optionally (c) a phenolic antioxidant (e.g. a condensate of 3-alkyl or -alkoxy-6-branched alkyl phenol with an unsaturated aldehyde or ketone).
