Abstract

A wireless communication terminal may request location specific information, for example a map, from a server without automatically transmitting its location details. The information received from the server is displayed via a browser on the terminal. The user may be prompted to determine if the location details should be sent, and encryption of the details may be used. The arrangement seeks to improve the security of the terminal user.
