Abstract

A bar-bell weight is made of resilient material and has a hollow interior in order to avoid accidental damage to person or property. The embodiment describes a moulded bar-bell of plastics material having thickened corners 18 of the periphery 16 and of the hub 15. Cross-members are moulded with the bar-bell for additional strength and an orifice 23 and stopper 24 are provided in the periphery for the purpose of filling the interior with sand or liquid.
