Abstract

A polyolefine composition comprises (a) a copolymer of ethylene of 70-80% crystallinity and of density 0.93-0.97 comprising 99.7-90% ethylene and 0.3-10% of one or more C3- 18 homologues of ethylene and (b) an (partially) amorphous copolymer of higher content of a C3- 8 homologue of ethylene than copolymer (a) and comprising 90-10% of ethylene and 10-90% of one or more C3- 18 homologues of ethylene. The ethylene homologues may be propylene or butene-1. Copolymer (b) may contain 30-100% of amorphous constituents that are soluble in n-heptane and up to 70% of crystalline constituents that are insoluble, and may comprise 1-50% of the composition. The composition may be formed into sheets which may be granulated. Specifications 514,687 and 685,381 are referred to.
