Abstract

A carbon sheet comprises a base sheet of porous fibrous material such as yoshino paper, having a coating on one side of finely divided carbon dispersed in a viscous vehicle, and on part of each side, e.g. along a marginal strip, a pressure-sensitive adhesive impregnated through the base sheet. The viscous vehicle may be an aromatic hydrocarbon oil. The adhesive may be first applied to a sheet of smooth, glazed or film-coated paper and transferred to the carbon sheet by bringing the two together and then separating them. U.S.A.
