980,561. Brake actuating mechanisms; hydraulic brakes. FORD MOTOR CO. Ltd. Sept. 20, 1963 [Nov. 8, 1962], No. 42187/62. Headings F2E and F2F. [Also in Division B7] Clutch and brake master cylinders 59 and 17 and pedals 63 and 19 are arranged on a channelsection support 1 as a unit which may be secured to a vehicle body. As shown the respective pedals and master cylinders are interconnected by relay levers 61, 21 and pairs of links and are mounted on opposite side walls of the channel-section support 1. Master cylinder 59 is mounted on a bracket 94 secured to the support between plates 65, 67 whereas master cylinder 17 is secured between plates 23, 25 directly to the support. Stops 93 on the pedals engage transverse member 91 in the released condition.
