[Also in Division B7] In a tractor driving gear provided with a power take-off, an engine-driven flywheel 4 is connected through a bell-shaped member 5 and hollow shaft 6 with an hydraulic transmission 8 comprising a pump 7 and motor 9 having a hollow output shaft 13 upon which is mounted a pinion 11 meshing with a gear 12 on a shaft 23 mounting a pinion 14 meshing with a ring gear 15 of a differential having output shafts 16 connected to the tractor driving wheels. A friction clutch 20 is interposed between the flywheel 4 and a shaft 19 which passes through the hollow shafts 6 and 13 and mounts a pinion 21 and is in driving engagement with an auxiliary pump 40. The gear 21 meshes with a gear 25 of a gear-set 22 rotatably mounted on the shaft 23 and which is also in engagement with a gear 26 connected to a shaft 36 which may be coupled through a clutch 37 to an output shaft 18 to which may be connected an implement, e.g. a mowing machine. A gear 34 connected to the shaft 23 is in permanent mesh with a gear 32 rotatable upon a power take-off shaft 17 upon splines on which is slidably mounted a gear-set 45 having a gear 28 which may be brought into engagement with a gear 27 on the gear-set 22 and a gear 30 which may be brought into engagement with gear teeth 31 in the gear 32. The gear-set 45 may also connect the shaft 17 with the shaft 36 through splines 35. Thus, both output shafts 17 and 18 may be driven independently of the drive to the tractor wheels which, with the transmission control lever 44 at neutral, may be stationary, the shaft 18 being driven through gears 21, 25, 26 and clutch 37 and the shaft 17 through gears 21, 27, 28, or through gears 21, 25, 26 and shaft 36. The take-off shaft 17 may also be driven at a speed proportional to the wheel speed through the gears 34, 32, 31, 30. An intermediate gear may be interposed between the gears 21 and 25.
