Abstract
985,073. Inductors. MULLARD Ltd. Feb. 24, 1964 [May 17, 1963], No. 19730/63. Heading H1T. A ferromagnetic pot-cone assembly comprises windings 2 embedded in a moulded coil member 1 and positioned by struts 3 within a container 4 which also locates the slotted pot-cone parts 8 and 9. The coil member, struts and outer container are moulded as an integral structure such that the terminals 7 and leads 6 are embedded. Resilient clamping means 14 (of beryllium copper) and plate 16 secure the potcone parts. A tuning slug can be provided for the pot-cone.
