973,160. Beds; furniture joints. CALTHENA Ltd. July 18, 1962 [May 13, 1961], No. 17517/61. Headings A4J and A4W. A metal bed comprises a spring frame 12, a pair of tubular longitudinal side members 21 whose ends form sockets 25 and two bed ends 10, 11 with spigots 16 which fit into the sockets 25. Each socket 25 has a spring loaded radial plunger 29 and bolt 27 which fit into a hole 20 and groove 19 respectively when the bed ends are in position.
