Abstract
978,816. Microscope objectives. MEOPTA PRAHA NARODNI PODNIK. April 29,1963 [Dec. 19, 1962], No. 16751/63. Heading G2J. A variable focal length objective for a microscope comprises a fixed front positive lens, a negative lens and a second positive lens, the last two being independently movable along the optical axis of the system to vary the power while producing an image in a fixed plane. The focal lengths of the lens lie in the ranges 0.12a # 0. 2a, -0.06a # -0. 1a, and 0.12a # 0.2a respectively where a is the distance between the image and the object.
