Abstract

A blend of a major proportion of isotactic polypropylene with an amorphous copolymer of an alpha-olefin and an ethylenically unsaturated monomer containing an oxygen group (but excluding the compositions according to Specification 925,117, wherein the copolymer is derived from ethylene and an unsaturated benzophenone) is used in the production of film for use in packaging. The specified copolymers are derived from ethylene with vinyl acetate or ethyl acrylate, although propylene or a -butylene also may be used as the alpha-olefin.
